Evaluation.
Overall I believe that my outcome was really successful. I believe this is really shows the importance of the benches and shows the beauty in looking at the bench rather than just looking out from sitting on the bench.
I believe that the viewers of the book will be interested by this book from the front cover. I also think that this will not only reach people who like bench but will reach other who don鈥檛 all ages cause the front cover will intrigue you to read on!

Research lecture!
Looking at key dates between 1800 to 1900 of historical art dates
Which helps to learn the depth of research is good and what things could be helpful in your own project.

This is my attempt to make the skeleton leaves!
I soaked them for a few weeks and kept changing the water every few days then after 2 weeks I tried to see if they where soft enough to brush off the first layer but I believe a lot of the leaves I was using where too thick and would of needed a lot more soaking to work.
The leaf about was the most successful!

Binding the concept collider!
For this work shop we worked like a production line, having some people folding the book making sure the book was folded the right way with the sharp as the first page and then we had to add the front cover on top to then be stapled to then be cut, guillotined to make the book a book and so you can flick through all the pages. I really liked this project as really helped me to not be so overwhelmed with creating an outcome and can be a very good way to come up with a professional looking outcome.

This was the creation of the front cover of the book this has a beautiful look about it and I love the look of the moss being added to the cover to get a natural feel one thing i would like to do to create a more successful outcome is to add in more bark to fill out the spaces so from looking at the front of the book you can see white. This is defiantly more successful than Pitt stick as when fold over the page it is flat and you can鈥檛 see the glue.

She made a bench that created a bench that looked like a book for the natural literacy trust this was to raise money for the charity raising money for children鈥檚 literacy. This was a interesting project that I looked at to help with my creativity to help me to come up with new and inventive idea鈥檚.

These are two examples of how I want the binding to be looking and what is the most effective and successful for the outcome I want. I prefer the first on as i believe it doesn鈥檛 look as bulky and it will be better for making it loosely when it comes to adding in the physical things.

This is the problem when it comes to sticking bark onto the front cover, after a few days it starts to lift, and on the next page their you can see doesn鈥檛 look very professional, so coming to a conclusion and to fix the issue I am not going use a pritt stick and going to look at different glue alternatives, and also going to see if it would look better just on the hand made paper instead.

I then went into the library looked around the materials section this helped me think about alternate ideas for the front cove using a full piece of wood instead of just using broken up bark.

Then went out to a gallery and where selling little artist books, outcomes that have helped me to think outside of the box looking into cut outs using things I have found to create a more interesting/ creative outcome.
