like imagine going from your first part-time job working for some guy who's your parents' friend, helping your mom with the dishes and maybe learning how to run their business so you can take it over some day, waiting for your dad's cool friends to come over when they get back so you can hear awesome stories! to getting shoved so abruptly into an alien world where no one fucking gives a shit about you, you're a piece of shit for protecting yourself the only ways you know how but no one fucking cares about actually helping you, if people do care about you it's only because you can do damage. in the span of a day going from having a home and a family and a world you know to being completely isolated in a world that actively hates you and wants you hurt for not understanding it. going from the kid everyone knew and kept an eye out for to the one taking heavy hits for your own friends when all of you are still young enough that u should be sitting hanging off the bed in your room playing games together. losing your home and getting a new home and losing that home and getting a new one and being so fucking burned you can't even accept that one. how many nights do u think he dreamed of his own home back on fauna before coming back to see its collapsed ruins. boy who fucking loses everything over and over and over again!!
