Consider why In the Heights, with the same creator and the same incredible musical prowess, didn't cause the same storm as the show about good old American white history. Minority stories don't reach mainstream audiences so easily, but I hope this brilliant and awe-inspiring film adaptation gives In the Heights a big second wind to be enjoyed by everyone, whether it's your story or not.
