Senark's Entry Log 4
I spent the previous day finishing up some magical research and using my new found wealth to further defend myself from mundane attacks.
We proceeded to liberate yet another ancient site from it's wealth. This place was filled with all manners of dangerous beasts. I've never seen a creature so humongous, let alone it being a horrifying Centipede. To say nothing of the haunted court yard, hell dog, skeletons...
What is wrong with this country?
There was a young man discovered that didn't survive the kiss of those filthy outsiders that tried to take my head to be one of their disgusting brothers. To think, what a waste my head would be in such a situation?! Anyways, the young man!
He had an inscribed wedding ring, perhaps we should find who he was holding on to that for...

Senarks Entry Log 3
Well we didn't fight a mummy like the other group claimed too... but an animated sarcophagus and a cobra construct will do I suppose. But more importantly... we struck it rich! Immensely rich!
The group has become flush with cash! The horrendous first day is completely forgotten as we divvy up the earnings and prepare for our next assignment!
This group I have fallen in with is proving quite useful now that we are working out the kinks in how combat should flow. However I have learned that mind effecting spells are proving quite worthless against these vermin and constructs we are constantly assaulted by. I need to begin researching spells that either enhance my meat shields or effect any manner of creature.

Senark's Log Entry 2
What a horrendous first outing!
I wish I can say my barely breathing familiar and the team was nearly destroyed by some mummy of sinister power and design... but we were brought to the brink of death by a simple arrow trap!
Then a simple spider almost killed me! The least trouble we had was a pile of animated sand! For all this trouble?! We got a tapestry worth 50 gold pieces!
That doesn't even cover the cost of being healed!
We will go back and continue our adventure tomorrow once we've licked our wounds, there must be treasure left within... the trap had a limited supply of ammunition and we spent all of it and no sign of any other tomb raiders than the one we found dead at the bottom of the shaft.
The would be thief's circumstances of death makes me slightly concerned... or perhaps almost dying twice in a day and almost permanently losing ones familiar causes an unhealthy amount of paranoia... be that as it may.... We found found him dead at the bottom of the shaft from the fall, his rope was obviously cut by someone else. Doors leading to the shaft had be closed going so far as the seal the outer door with mortar.
While I don't doubt the local guard 20 years ago would simply kill grave robbers in the act I find it difficult to believe they would just leave the body there and carefully seal the entrance.
How did he plan to rob it on his own? Did his companions turn on him? Is there a group other than the local guard interested in keeping people out of tombs? If so... are they still active and are we being hunted?

Senark's Log Entry 1
Ah Wati. Something in my blood stirs when I look across this city, I feel like... I'm home. And that I must rule it... Although I always feel like I should rule places I visit, this is the first time I have had a feeling of home. At least that's what the drunks in the inn say the feeling is when I described the feelings to them.
I met a group of locals that were looking for additional members to join them in the government sanctioned looting of the tombs here. It's a motley crew of two druids and one of those infernal sorcerers. Something seems particularly off about this one, she causes even the darkest of hearts to smile when she approaches however in normal conversation she's about as insane as an drunken orc.
The druids seem competeant enough and along with their trained animals they should be able to keep Frodo the dodo and myself quite safe from any danger that occurs while we look for gold and I search for hidden power.
