Everyone you meet always asks if you have a career, are married or own a house; as if life was some kind of grocery list. But nobody ever asks if you are happy.

I hope to one day have a reason to believe in love. For now Iโ€™m convinced relationships are formed from fear of being alone. Yes itโ€™s about connecting, but what about our attachment styles and our generational trauma? Is that what drives our fear of being alone and the idealogy behind the word โ€œloveโ€? Is it just a single word to describe staying with people out of fear of dying alone? I donโ€™t know, I have so many questions about the word and itโ€™s general existence. Until I find it, I will never believe in it.
