Lifesteal Writer Collab Master Post, Summer 2025 edition!

Hello and welcome to the first edition of the LS Writer Collab!

So, what is this all about? This event is all about putting every single member of Lifesteal in the spotlight! We'll do this through writing, because fanfiction is an amazing and unique form of art, and everyone can participate!

This event revolves around creating a collaborative series, in which each author will write a work centered around one lifestealer to form a collection where every lifestealer has a work pertaining to them and their relationships within this universe. For our first run of this event, every work will be based around in-universe 'Lifesteal Breaks', aka admin-enforced moments of peace where killing is not allowed for a set amount of time. All works will be set during season 6 and include any member or guest present during this season.

Shipping, while optional, is allowed. Consider all relationships as open within the server. All participants within the ship should be over eighteen as of the starting date of this event.

Schedule - Summer 2025:

June 16th, 8pm CEST: Discord opens

July 2nd, 8pm CEST: Signups open

July 16th, 8pm CEST: Signups close

July 20th, 8pm CEST: Assignments out, writing period starts

August 20th, 8pm CEST: Halfway check-in

September 20th, 8pm CEST: Writing period ends

September 27th, 8pm CEST: Posting period starts

October 4th, 8pm CEST: Posting period ends

Event Rules:

Works must be at least 500 words long. There is no maximum, but keep in mind that your work must be entirely complete at the start of the posting period

You must have an ao3 and discord account to participate

Due to the concept of this round, RPF will not be allowed in this iteration of the event

Any character headcanon is allowed

No nsfw. Gore and violence are allowed, but warn accordingly. The achive warnings 'rape/non-con' and 'underage sex' are not allowed in this event, please keep this in mind

There is no participant limit, but we will operate on a first come first serve basis as long as not every member has an assigned writer

Works do not need to be canon compliant. However, please don't majorly alter any canon events and keep your work in the canon setting of Lifesteal, no alternate universes

We will not, under any circumstance, allow AI-generated writing into this event

As it is unreasonable to moderate, we will allow ships that go against creator boundaries, and the event will be a 'ship and let ship' space

While shipping is allowed within the individual works, other creators are not expected to include established relationships from other works, giving them full creative liberty over the chracters they choose to write for. (ex; where Person A writes a fic including Branzy/Clown and Person B writes a fic including Branzy/Rek, Person B is not required to mention the previous work, the relationship, or any of the events included, though may do so by choice.)

Have fun with possibly one of the most self indulgent things I've ever written... my wonderful Unstable Universe Model United Nations AU, inspired by one joke i need to make, target audience: me. (274 words)

The Unstable Crisis Committee had just adjourned for lunch. Despite the committee being over Wifies was still working away writing directives for the next session and the Chairs were busy processing all the ones already sent in that would affect the war against the mafia. Unfortunately Parrot, Ken, and Wato were stuck waiting for him to finish.

Parrot leaned over Wifies who instantly slammed a hand over the note, “Dude, are you almost done?”

“He’s written so many we could start calling him the Director” Ken remarked from the door grinning like she knew something.

Wifies only laughed slightly glancing over to look at Ken as he handed the note to Wato to pass to the dias, “Sure Ken”

Wato held up the directive and the co-chair walked over to grab it in heels that rivaled their own. They opened up the directive and looked briefly at Wifies before looking at the note again and taking it back over to the dias table.

It was slid in front of the main chair, by passing the pile of pre-existing directives. Upon seeing it the chair started giggling and looked over at the group and held up the directive, “I hope y'all enjoy lunch, this next session is gonna be fun!”

Parrot stared like he was trying to predict what the note had said, “Wifies, dude what was that about?”

He answered cryptically, “You’ll find out soon.”

Wato rushed out of the room and hid mostly behind the door, “He's going to get some corner time…” 

“Don’t joke about that!”

Ken ducked under her and started to leave, yelling behind him, “He can just come back with a wig or something”
