SHADDAP

       SHADDAP…KITT Gets His

Scene:  Michael Knight and his newly-humanoid-formed partner KITT are in the TransAm car KITT came from. A new AI/CPU microprocessor, KATT, has taken over KITT’s “job”.

KATT gets going on something that is either bothering “him” or he’s poking holes in whatever Michael or KITT did during their last mission. They are a tight team, and do “razz” each other once in a while.

This time, KATT is kind of picking on KITT, half good naturedly, half nagging. Bonnie and KITT put a bit of KITT’s personality in “him”. As he rabbits on, KITT, in the passenger seat, looks at Michael mischievously.

“Michael, may I have the honor?” he asks, with an almost hidden smirk.

“Go for it, Partner. I know you wanna.” Michael almost can’t hide his grin. He knows.

KITT interrupts KATT’s nattering on.

“Ahem…KATT?”

KATT stops. “Yes, KITT?”

“….shaddap.”

Michael laughs, a few tears coming out. KITT has to laugh too, more a chuckle.

“Damn that felt good,” he laughed. “I’ve always wanted to do that.”

KATT is silent for a moment, having had Michael hit him with that commanding repartee before. But not KITT. He’s puzzled.
