🌠🌌[“ Dreams of Midnight ”]🌌🌠

The cast and crew of my game concept, finally given proper fleshed out designs! I feel a lot more satisfied with everyone's overall appearance. Textures on their clothes is optional, I left them off for simplicity sake.

Lots of info about them below (VERY LONG, this is basically gonna act as a master post for current info and lore):

Babie the Clown: Eater of stars. Fell to Midnight by a bright light and a call from below. Well rounded in terms of stats and is able to perform magic to conjure up a limited set of items to aid in the journey back home. Babie is a curious and very friendly clown. Just wants to make others happy, to spread joy and whimsy. Enjoys making friends and being a little silly.

“I miss the taste of the stars” – Babie

Thimble the Clown: Crafter of wormholes. Fell to Midnight and only wants to go back to performing her work. Fast and small, hits multiple times, though not very hard. Can create little wormholes that can teleport the group a short distance out of the way of any danger. Thimble is bold and bubbly, and despite her size, she is very clever.

“I dream of dancing in the nebulae again” – Thimble

Twine the Jester: Sculptor of asteroids. Fell to Midnight and wishes to return to his craft making rocks from the dust. He is a heavy hitter at the cost of being a little slow. Despite his supposed demeanor, Twine has a rather warm and kindhearted disposition. A good and sturdy friend to have around. The biggest and tallest of the ragtag group.

“I wish I could play with the asteroids once more” – Twine

Padlock the Harlequin: Weaver of nebulae. Fell to Midnight and desires to make music among the stars again. They create ranged attacks with their conductor's baton. Music is their passion and can pacify any possible threat. Padlock is a tad shy, but sweet. They prefer to express themselves through the melodies they compose.

“I want to go back to making music with the planets” – Padlock

Dust the Mime: Creator of space dust. The one that called out to the others and brought them there to Midnight. They appear to cause trouble for the others, sabotaging their efforts and seeming to do it just to keep them there.. but what for? They're a mysterious entity.. though they don't appear to mean any harm.

Synopsis:

Babie, a small space clown, wound up getting trapped in a place called "Midnight" for quite some time. While exploring the landscape of Midnight, Babie discovers 3 other space clown entities just like them (Padlock, Thimble, and Twine), who were also trapped there. Babie helps them with their problems and they join Babie on a journey to try and discover why they were trapped, who did it (Dust), and find a way back home to the stars where they belong.

There is many fun npcs and locations around Midnight. Many puzzles to solve and people to help. Places to see and secrets to discover. There is lots to learn of the inhabitants and of Midnight itself. Mysteries to uncover.

And friends to make.

What is Midnight?

“Midnight” is a planet or dimension of sorts that the oddball group has been trapped in. A beautiful yet eerie landscape of dark and light and colors galore. Many strange creatures inhabit this place. It is a dreamlike landscape.

It is, as of yet, unknown how this place came to be.

On this day July 30, 1961...

Today's marked the the release of a Kaiju movie in Japan. This one is my simp.

Happy 63rd Birthday to my beloved Angel, Goddess of Life and Peace, and Queen of the Monsters: Mothra!

She is my first and one and only favorite Kaiju in every Godzilla movies and I'm superbly a fan of hers since childhood, growing up to something that my life changed into a better person. I like how Toho ended up creating her as a peaceful and glorious kaiju, and even in KOTM (and GxK), wherein it sparked my inner ship between her and Godzilla (the symbiosis is strongest). Still, I am hoping for her own MV solo film and an anime (despite she appears minor and cameo in Godzilla Anime Trilogy and SP).

Grant her a celebration to our Queen!
