Here we go!
It's the start of InuGotcha for Good!
What is InuGotcha for Good?
IGG was created by fellow Inuyasha enthusiasts who want to spread awareness to progressive nonprofits & charities that are working to protect marginalized people. Our goal is to utilize fandom and channel that toward activism. This is a cause created by and for fans, dedicated to enabling the fandom community to push back against hateful groups or ideologies, all while adding value to our collective fandom space in the process.
Why InuGotcha for Good?
Through the past decade, many of us have found a reprieve in our Inuyasha fandom community as a way to escape. IGG is a way for our fandom to gather together, celebrate our creators, and participate in causes that are dear to us.
Who’s the moderator team?
IGG is currently run by: @classysassy9791, @fawn-eyed-girl, @sereia1313, & @neutronstarchild
What is 2025's theme?
This year we chose Freedom to Read. In our current world, there is a lot of defunding and book banning occurring. There are people and corporations who are targeting LGBTQIA+ books, police in parts of China are arresting those who are writing erotic MLM fanfiction, and thousands of library books are being targeted for censorship. The freedom to read is continuously under attack throughout all parts of the world, so we wanted to spotlight several organizations who fight against those injustices.
What causes are available to donate this year?
You can check out our Carrd for the current causes chosen by the moderator team. If you want to donate to a local cause or one that isn’t listed, feel free to reach out to the mod-team or send in an ask!
When is the auction happening this year?
We are currently taking on creators for the 2025 auction, so please fill out our Google Form to sign-up if you're interested in donating your time and creativity. The auction itself is currently open for donations until July 31st
How do I participate in the auction as a creator?
Creators can sign up by filling out our Google Form. A moderator will then reach out to you. The auction itself is hosted on a variety of social media platforms, including tumblr and bsky. You can also find a one-stop shop at our Carrd, where all pertinent information will be hosted.
What are the minimum requirements for creators?
For writers, there is a minimum requirement of a ficlet length (500-1,000 words). For artists, there is a minimum of a simple sketch. You are able to go beyond these minimums, but please remember that we are not asking for commission-level work.
How do I participate in the auction as a donor?
If you want to receive a crafted fanwork, you must donate to an eligible non-profit or charity organization that coincides with this year’s theme. You must submit proof of donation via our Google Form. Please do not include your credit card information. We only ask for a screenshot and an email to coincide with the donation.
Can I request what kind of work I receive?
When you submit your proof of donation, you will be allowed to enter a variety of requests, including ships, tropes, types, etc. While these will be heavily taken into consideration, creators are not obligated to craft something they are not comfortable with. NSFW requests will be allowed with an additional $5 USD donation on top of the required tier allotment. Remember, the more specific you are in your request, the more difficult it will be for a creator, so please keep them broad.
How much do I have to donate in order to receive a gift?
We have crafted the gifts into tiers for both artists and writers.
Artists
$5 USD = a sketch
$10-$15 USD = a lineart
$20+ USD = a flat colored piece
Writers
$5 USD = a ficlet length (500-1,000 words)
$10-$15 USD = 1,000 - 3,000 words
$20+ USD = 3,000 words and up
*must add an additional $5 USD to any tier in order to request an NSFW creation.
When will I receive my created gift?
As soon as possible! While donations can be submitted as late as July 31st, creators will be consistently crafting works as they’re able. We will be doing our best to concentrate our efforts in order of donation - so the sooner you submit proof of donation, the sooner you’re eligible to receive your gift.
I have a question that's not listed.
Please don’t hesitate to send in an ask to any of our blogs or reach out to a moderator directly!

InuYasha Pride Month 2025
Another trip around the sun has been completed, and it is June once more. This year we’re shaking things up in more ways than one by gamifying the month. Below the cut there will be a bingo card with two dozen fun prompts. Unlike in previous years, there is no deadline for your creativity. Try to get bingo while you create—or don’t. The Bingo card is your oyster.
‘Shaking things up in more ways than one’ means we have a second fun little surprise. This year we set up a fundraiser with the Trevor Project in an attempt to help raise money to end suicide amongst LGBTQ+ youth. We will include the link here on the announcement post to make things nice and easy. Of course there is no requirement to donate, donate if you can (or want to) share the link if you can (or want to).
Either way, we’re excited to see what you all bring to the table this year. Tag us here on Tumblr at @inuyashapridemonth and use the hashtag InuyashaPrideMonth2025 so we can share and admire what you’ve made.
For more information check out our Rules and FAQ

Hello and welcome to the @inugangexchange blog! As this will be the third year running, we felt it was a good idea to introduce a blog here to help with getting questions answered, sharing the amazing works created for the event, and supporting creators!
The Inu-Gang Exchange is held in the summer with Tag Nominations beginning June 15th (We'll post about what that means later!), and Signups beginning June 22nd. There are other stepping stones, but the main event, the Big Content Reveal is currently planned for August 3rd! Creators will then be revealed a week later after everyone gets a chance to guess who did what.
This is an all pairing exchange (with a few exceptions), including rare pairs and OCs.
We'll post further about exchange rules, parameters, etc.
In the meantime, hello and welcome!

💚 Week 1 - Devotion & Reverence 💚
Happy April 1st everyone! We hope the sun is shining wherever you are. Let's plant some seeds with these beautiful blooms, kinetic kingdoms, and twitterpated tropes.

Spring Gift Exchange 2025
Let's celebrate spring with a "secret" gift exchange! Please fill out this form to sign up to surprise another fandom member with a SessKag creation!
Important dates:
Sign-up deadline: April 1
Partners given: April 4
Check-in 1: April 20 (outline to 25% done)
Check-in 2: May 4 (last chance to drop out, 50% done)
Check-in 3: May 11 (final touches to 100% done)
Posting: May 17/18
All check-in dates must be met in order for participants to continue in the event! If you are having trouble meeting a deadline, please reach out to your mod ASAP.
Artists will submit one completed piece (coloured or polished B&W); writers will submit one completed story (minimum of 1000 words). Writers are welcome to write more, and artists are welcome to submit more than one piece, but it is up to the creator and their schedule after completing the minimum requirements.
Creators will be given the results of this sign-up so they can create a piece that's best for their giftee, so please fill it out to the best of your ability. The results are not meant as a checklist but a guide to help shape your gift, so use as many or as few as you want. Just be respectful of the "nope" tropes on the list.

We're back for our third annual Kikyo Weekend, dedicated to celebrating our tragic and elegant priestess.
This year the event will take place May 2nd - 4th.
The overall theme is aurora.
The prompts for this year's 2025 event will be:
May 2nd: Guidance & Protection: in some cultures, the aurora is believed to offer guidance and protection to those who witness it.
May 3rd: Harmony & Unity: the aurora's dance in the night sky can symbolize unity and interconnectedness.
May 4th: Renewal: the aurora's ever-changing nature can symbolize the cyclical process of renewal and transformation.
These prompts are not required, but are there to assist in the creative process. Please feel free to submit anything related to Kikyo during this weekend. we'd love to see it!
The tag for this event will be #kikyo-weekend! Please use this tag for your works, be it fanfiction, artworks, edits, etc, or tag this blog, @kikyo-weekend.
For any questions, overall ideas, or suggestions, don’t hesitate to send a message here on this account or the channel on the FC discord
Let’s all have some fun celebrating this beautiful shrine priestess!
