After so many days of waiting, Apple is finally here with yet another breakthrough product launch actually the most awaited launch of the year. Yes, you heard it correct iPhone 12 is just here! In this article, we will cover all sorts of things you need to know before you go ahead with the latest iPhone 12 series devices. Interestingly, all the models support 5G out of the box that will offer a seamless internet experience ever on an iPhone.The new lineup offers very great full of choice in hands of consumers, where you get a new budget/affordable iPhone for the first time ever called the iPhone 12 “mini”. These newer iPhones are running on Apple’s fastest chip that is the A14 bionic.

The base model or the lower end variant for the iPhone 12 Mini is priced at just Rs.69,900 that is the 64GB model whereas the top model for iPhone 12 mini goes up to 84,900 (256GB). The entry-level iPhone 12, starts at a price tag of Rs. 79,900 for the 64GB storage and goes all the way up to 256GB storage model at Rs. 94,900. However, the iPhone 12 Pro will be starting at Rs. 1,19,900 for the base, 128GB storage variant, while its 256GB and 512GB storage options will be available at Rs. 1,29,900 and Rs. 1,49,900, respectively. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, in contrast, starts at Rs. 1,29,900 for the 128GB storage variant unlike other lineup starts from 64GB. Surprisingly, all of them come with Super Retina XDR OLED displays paired with a Ceramic Shield glass cover on top of it. This is a huge upgrade over last-generation iPhone’s which was announced with an LCD panel instead of an upgraded OLED screen. The newer models are also powered by the iconic A14 Bionic SoC that is already leading the market for Apple on their latest iPad Air.

Apple claims this can deliver a 40 percent boost in CPU performance and a 30 percent improvement in graphics over the last year’s iPhone 11. Moreover, this new 16-core Neural Engine is capable of performing up to 11 trillion operations per second. Along with speed you get enhanced network support too as this is the first iPhone that ships with 5G support. Unfortunately, there is no such proper clarity about the 5G launch in India. In terms of display size, the iPhone 12 mini comes in a 5.4-inch size, while the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will still feature the same 6.1-inch form-factor, and while the iPhone 12 Pro Max holds the biggest screen size among them, with 6.7-inch size.

When it comes to battery life, the iPhone 12 mini can deliver up to 15 hours of video playback, on the other hand, iPhone 12 and 12 Pro can go up to 17 hours of video playback. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to deliver the massive 20 hours of video playback time due to its high-end specifications. Seriously, rumors were proved to be correct and Apple is not offering AC Adapters with any iPhone. You will be able to find one USB to lightning cable in-box itself.

My experience at iNvent Store – A Complete Satisfaction

These days most of us are concerned about the safety standards outside their homes and avoid going to the market. Well, that is good, but today I had an exceptional experience at one of the leading Apple’s Premium Reseller in India named iNvent (Apple store in Delhi). I was interested in buying a Macbook Pro base model which was out of stock everywhere, even Apple’s own Online Store here in India is showing shipping after 15-20, days. Liked the fact that with iNvent you get an assured 24 hrs super-speed delivery in Delhi NCR and promises 7-day delivery across India. This is actually a big deal for most of us as believe “time is money.” Because when you desperately need a product you cannot wait anymore. 

Especially, in times of Covid-19 pandemic where everyone is working from home (WFH) and needs the gadget to connect with his family or for his office work. I was also wondering how things will work and is it really safe to go outside? But today’s visit to one of the best-in-class showrooms from iNvent proved it otherwise. What is worth mentioning that we all need to take precautions and follow all the necessary safety measures. The staff has implemented all the required safety measures inside the showroom. One could see the staff maintained all social distancing norms, everyone wearing a mask and gloves for the safety of the consumer. At the entry to the showroom, one can get their hands sanitized and screened for body temperature. Having said that, the safety measures are followed strictly and maintained by one and all inside the premise. This means only asymptomatic people are allowed to move forward. 

I had a word with one of the executives at the store about the measures, and liked the fact that they are sanitizing all the demo products twice-thrice a day which is excellent. They also have an e-store where you can easily place orders and the product is delivered safely across India. I have to say that the staff present at the store was quite polite and courteous with in-depth knowledge about the product. So, even if you are confused here is a solution for you. When it comes to trust iNvent has it has 10 unique stores across the capital region like Pitampura, Lajpat Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Rohini, Greater Noida, Indirapuram, Rohtak, Shimla. Two new grand stores are planned to open shortly in Karnal and Gaur City. 

Here you can avail all available offers (Bank Offers / GST billing / Student discount) so there is nothing to worry about. Even if you belong to a business and you have a GST number so you can ask them for a GST billing option where you can claim your benefit. This is one of the big factors I preferred buying from Apple Resellers rather than buying from Apple’s Online Store where you have to wait so long to get the products. 

Interestingly, when you are buying such an expensive product you can always have a hands-on experience.

What’s next: Endless possibilities with the iPhone 12 

Another year, another iPhone: and with the way this year has worked out we could all use some excitement. After WWDC (Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference) being a roaring hit with it’s virtual adaptation, the release of the iPhone 12 is expected to shake the internet. 

As iPhone lovers, however, our expectations from the product are once again to be impressed through and through. Apple is notorious for keeping all info under wraps, but with such buzz about the iPhone 12, there are many rumours and speculations going around.

Expected Release Dates 

Apple has been tight-lipped about its release dates for as long as we can remember; the unexpected is always a part of the Apple experience. 

With Apple launches for the last few years being conducted in the beginning of September, we are expecting the same for this year’s launch of the iPhone 12. 

As the trend was set by the previous few models, it would not be surprising to see iPhone 12 have three advanced variants much like the iPhone 11, which would vary in terms of screen size and color options.

Improved Design

As renowned youtuber Marques Brownlee pointed out, Apple reverted to its sleek non-curved, flat-edge sides on the iPad in 2019, and we know how Apple loves simplistic uniformity in their design. Hence, many are speculating that the latest iPhone 12 will revert to its classic flat edge design.

Apple Insider also reports from sources that while the edge-to-edge screen is most likely to continue, the size of the notch might be reduced on some if not all variants of the iPhone 12. 

Given the iPhone 11 pro had variants in silver, space gray, and midnight green, it would be interesting to see what colour options will be offered to those who want to buy iPhone 12.

Better Camera performance 

Another observation by Marques Brownlee was that the new iPad had an excellent LiDAR system. Notorious for amazing snapshots as iPhones are, it would not be surprising at all to see the same technology being extended to the iPhone 12. 

This means that portrait mode is likely to be knocked out of the park with this one as the iPhone’s rear camera depth detection will be elevated beyond belief. The dual camera system with 12 MP wide angle and ultra-wide angle camera lenses are sure to continue, and possibly be upgraded in a superior model of the iPhone 12.

Processor Upgrades 

Apple clarified in WWDC or WorldWide Developer Conference that soon enough Apple will stop relying on Intel for its MacBook Processors. This stirred the rumors that Apple might switch to an in-house processor which would be smaller and more efficient for the iPhone 12 too. 

This seems unlikely at the moment since Apple has not clarified when we can expect this in the next generation of MacBooks either. To assume this change will reflect something in the iPhone 12 is a bold claim that is not supported by any evidence at the moment. 

We cannot say if the A-14 bionic chip will be used or not, but the A-13 bionic chip running the iOS 14 is the most likely option at this point.

Top-Notch Wireless connectivity 

Apple Insider also reports that Apple will upgrade from 4G LTE to 5G connectivity in its next generation iPhones, a usual upgrade practice that Apple has never delayed adopting. 

Whether the 5G connectivity version will be mmWave or sub-6Ghz is yet to be unveiled, but it is more likely that the iPhone 12 will receive the sub-6Ghz version because it can cover a bigger distance. 

iPhone 12 price in India 

GadgetsNow reports that the iPhone 12 price in India will be Rs 74,900, however it is not yet confirmed. The accurate price will be unveiled when the iPhone 12 is revealed, however it is safe to assume iPhone 12 price in India will not be leaps and bounds ahead of the previous iPhone.
