Is youmu the most interesting player character in Touhou? No she's likely the least, at least among the ones that show up a lot. Is she usually a strong pick? No, she's usually one of the worst, or at least the hardest. Should she really be there, at all? Again, no.

But my girl is always on the verge of tears and she brought a melee attack to the danmaku fight so we grab that little beast, hold it close, and then spike it into the ground and switch to reimu, as always.

There are things I suppose I must have overlooked during my first read-through and forgotten that I'm surprised didn't bother me more, but nevertheless this drives an arrow right into the heart of a little boy who used to stay up all night reading adventure stories set in the Yukon Gold Rush, and the heart of a grown adult spoken to on other levels I don't want to go into right now.

Recommended, with all the heart I've got to give.

The Ninth Jedi began as two separate shorts. One was to be set in a time when Jedi have fallen into legend and need to come back as darkness threatens the galaxy, with the daughter of a lightsabersmith seeking out the Jedi and delivering their weapons. The other story was to be told from the point of view of eight warriors coming together, learning if they are indeed Force sensitive and can trust each other. Ultimately, the decision was made to combine the stories in order to achieve something on a grander scale.
