Looking for a roleplay partner to write a genderbent Mark Grayson (18+) against my Viltrum Mark Variant!

This is a darker take on the Invincible world — expect a healthy blend of action, violence, power dynamics, NSFW/adult themes, and emotional intensity. I’m hoping to explore the tension between two superpowered beings caught on opposite sides of a fractured Earth… with plenty of sparks flying both in and out of battle.

Must be 18+ OOC and have characters 18+ as well. Looking for someone interested in long-term plotting, morally gray drama, twisted romance, and high-stakes scenes. Slow burns welcome, but so are fireworks.

### Scene 1: First Rule of The Cha Cookhouse

Kate moved through the kitchen with effortless precision, slicing, searing, and stirring all at once. The Guardians of the Globe’s kitchen wasn’t exactly meant for this kind of operation—too small, too sterile—but Kate had long since learned how to make any space work.

Rex leaned against the counter, arms crossed, watching as she folded delicate pleats into a row of bao buns. "Man, I missed this,” he said, shaking his head. “Mark, you are not ready for The Cha Cookhouse.”

Mark, sitting at the table with Eve, glanced up from where he was peeling ginger under Kate’s earlier instruction. “It’s just dinner,” he said with a chuckle. “How good can it really be?”

The entire room went silent.

Eve sucked in a breath. “Oh, you shouldn’t have said that.”

Kate didn’t stop working, but her eyebrow quirked up slightly as she glanced at Mark. “You doubt my cooking skills, Grayson?”

Mark immediately realized his mistake. “Wait, no, I didn’t mean it like—”

Rex clapped him on the shoulder, shaking his head in mock disappointment. “Nah, man. You said it. And now you gotta learn the first rule of The Cha Cookhouse.”

Mark swallowed. “Which is…?”

Eve smirked. “Shut up and eat.”

Kate grinned, shaking her head as she returned to her work.

### Scene 2: Better Than Any Takeout

By the time everything was done, the kitchen smelled insane.

Steamed bao buns, their dough perfectly soft and pillowy, sat on a plate in the center of the table, filled with braised pork and an aromatic blend of herbs. A separate dish of crispy pan-fried dumplings sat beside them, golden-brown and glistening. On the stove, a rich, fragrant broth simmered in a pot, the kind of slow-cooked perfection that only came from hours of patience.

Kate poured herself a glass of wine as she watched everyone dig in. Rex made a deeply inappropriate noise as he took a bite of the dumplings.

"Holy shit, I forgot how good these are,” he groaned. “Like, seriously, Kate. Why aren’t you running a restaurant?”

Kate rolled her eyes but smirked. “Because someone has to keep you guys from getting killed every week.”

Mark, meanwhile, was having an existential crisis over the bao bun in his hand. He hadn’t even taken a bite yet, but just the smell of it was ridiculous. He took one cautious bite—and immediately leaned back in his chair.

“Okay,” he said, pointing at Kate with a look of pure betrayal. “What the hell? This is better than any takeout I’ve ever had.”

Eve smirked. “Told you.”

Mark, mouth still full, nodded vigorously. “Lesson learned.”

Kate just shrugged, sipping her wine. “Next time, don’t doubt The Cha Cookhouse.”

### Scene 3: The Chef Crush

At some point, the others filtered out, leaving just Kate and Mark in the kitchen. She was wiping down the counters, humming softly to herself, when she felt him watching her.

She glanced up. “Something on your mind?”

Mark hesitated, rubbing the back of his neck. “I mean… I knew you were tough. Smart. Badass. But I didn’t know you could cook like that.”

Kate smirked, turning back to the dishes. “Multitalented.”

“Yeah, no kidding.” He leaned against the counter, watching her. “Seriously, though. Why do you do all this? Cook for everyone, I mean.”

Kate paused for a second before answering. “…Because I can control it.” She met his eyes. “Missions, fights, all the crap we go through—I can’t always control how that goes. But this? This is mine.”

Mark didn’t break eye contact, something warm flickering in his gaze. “Well… for what it’s worth, it means a lot. To all of us.”

Kate’s smirk softened into something a little more genuine. “Good.”

She turned back to her dishes, but not before catching Mark still watching her out of the corner of her eye. Maybe, just maybe, her little crush wasn’t so one-sided after all.

Hey gang...super late to the party, but I just got into Invincible on Amazon Prime and I cannot help myself. I am so eager to sink my teeth into this verse and all it has to offer. I haven't touched the lore from the comics yet, just the show! I'm looking for OCxCanon and I'm happy to double. Lemme hear all your ideas! I'm down to write AUs and such as well. As of the moment I'm looking to write against Mark Grayson or Rex Sloan. I'm happy to double up for you to write any of the cast, including one of the Invincible variants.
