Background of their business (what made them start this business in the first place) - All these things was planed their business way back in the year 2016 this Polaris stick & lumber dealer located at Valenzuela St. Agora road, Brgy. lapasan Cagayan De Oro City. this business was alredy decided to find solutions and find ways get extra income to sustain their daily needs and through it's savings that started to come up this kind of big business. 2. What types of business? How many years since? - Businesss type, is Hardware and lumber dealer. - This business was initially altered in 2016, and it has already taken 7 years to complete, with a deadline of September 8, 2022. 3. What their own approach to making a sale (diskarte og pagpamaligya)? - According to the owner of this type of business need to maintain , organize and clean of the store and intertain well as a close relationships with customers and family is the best key to achieved business success. 4. What are the problems and challenges they encounter upon doing this business since the start-up. - The difficulties and obstacles they have faced since launching their business, according to the owner the waters entering the store is the main problem faced during start-up the store , which resulted in the wetness of the wares during rainy season. - Non- payment of dept of some hard headed customers caused by loss in thier financial investment.
5.What are the benifits of doing this type of business? What make persevere and stay in this business after all these years? 1. Background of their business (what made them start this business in the first place). 
-  According to the interviewee after he resigned to his previous job, he already have a savings for his business plan in order to buy some start-up machines, equipments and tools. 
2. What type of business. How many years since?  
- Metal works type of business, including his work experience it would be 7 years. 
3. What are their own approach to making a sale (diskarte sa pagpamaligya) 
- According to the owner, before you established your planned business you must first evaluate the business competition in the specific location that you wanted to cater to. So that you will know the strength and weaknesses of your competitors. Also you must have a concrete plan on deciding what and which fabrication services do you offer for the metal works business. The owner of metal works is also planning on selling some parts of motors, his approach of selling products is that as he bought the product from the market he is going to lessen the price of it in order to be affordable for the customers. 
4. What are the problems and challenges they encounter upon doing this business, since the start-up. 
- Since the start-up to his business the problems and challenges they encountered are, lack of customers because according it's just the beginning of the business, incomplete tools and equipment, no assistance and lastly expensive products from the market. 
5. What are the benefits of doing this type of business? What makes them persevere and stay in this business after all these years? 
- According to the owner the benefits of doing this type of business is that, more financially income every single day than being employed by the company. Hardwork and perseverance is the success key for doing this type of business. During the start-up of this business you must not be discouraged for doing this business. You should also know how to manage your financial expenses and never waste the financial expenses of buying the unwanted product for your own taste and like of the product, except for your customer's wants and needs. And lastly, you should always consider the customer's feedback on it and the things they really want so that they'll comeback from your business.

1. Background of their business (what made them start this business in the first place). 
- According to the seller of Xiaomi products, starting with this type of business is challenging especially when your product is not well known by the community and also for the long run of this business it has 50-50 success rate. So by doing this type of business it is important to know the taste of the individuals especially when it comes to budget friendly gadgets or phone that offers wise specs 
 2. What type of business. How many years since? 
- The type of this business is selling phones and gadgets of Xiaomi brand. According the seller he's almost 3 years of doing this business. And their business is located at the Limketkai center ground floor near east gate at graphics. 
 3. What are their own approach to making a sale (diskarte sa pagpamaligya) - --- According to the seller, the first thing to do is find out what client needs and after listening to the client's needs you will provide them a list of products and you must be specific so that it'll be easier for them to identify its specifications of the product. And then you must provide a services for the product for example after sale. 
 4. What are the problems and challenges they encounter upon doing this business, since the start-up. 
-  According to the seller the problems and challenges they encounter upon doing this business since the start-up, is that if your products is not well known by public community or for each individual there's a higher possibility that they'll easily reject your product. Even though you're active for the social media for promoting the product there are still people that are not active in social media for engaging the gadgets and smartphone. Most people who are not active in social media especially engaging for the gadgets is that the parents because the most active people in social media are the millennials. \

- The benefits of doing this business is that you will solve the problem of the individuals by fulfilling their needs. Their business is called NRB Ventures Corp. They sell beauty products online. This business has been with them for 10 years already and counting. They started it with just one thousand pesos on hand. They begin by endorsing their products to their neighbors, gradually increasing their reach until a large number of people believe their beauty products are effective. They haven't experienced big problems in their 10 years. But because of the pandemic, there were times when they lacked supply because of the travel ban. But as of now, for them, it's really a big help if you're selling it online. The benefits of selling it were that people who believed that their products were effective kept on buying.

- Businesss type, is  Sari-Sari store
- This business was initially altered in 2003, and it has already taken 19 years to complete, with a deadline of October 8, 2022.
3. What their own approach to making a sale (diskarte og pagpamaligya)?
- According to the Visto family owner of this type of business, maintaining close relationships with clients and family is the best way to achieve business success.
4. What are the problems  and challenges they encounter upon doing this business since the start-up.
- The difficulties and obstacles they have faced since launching their business, according to the owner. The first step is to obtain a business license and sufficient funds to purchase products and sell basic essentials.
5 What are the benefits of doing  this type of business? What make persevere and stay in this business after all these years?  
- Accordingly, the benefits of running this type of business include financial assistance for three students who successfully complete their education, as well as the Visto family steadily saving money to start a new business and the ability to develop new concepts that will suit your everyday needs. Nanay Visto that she said that we want to deliver good service to our clients with strong relationships, and if you are pleased and enjoy what you do, it will show in your business. Agriculture Business
1. My family started agribusiness since we were lend a land to plant with my family's acquaintance. Since then my family's relative told my father that he’ll planning to invest with my father's agribusiness and that he will fund the business. 
2. The type of business my family had is agribusiness and has been 12 years already since 2010. Our farm is located at Zone 6 Bulao Iponan Misamis Oriental, near from the gasoline  station.
3. Since our business is about agriculture, we cultivate crops  and applied some practices like multi-cropping system where two or more crops are grown in the same area and to avoid loss in sales. 
4. There are many challenges encountered in the process. One of which is the diseases, financial struggles and many more but the biggest problems was the flooding. 
5. There are many benefits in this business, aside of its personal benefit also includes labor. Agriculture can give jobs to  jobless and help the min daily needs. The reason why our  business stayed in the industry is because we applied  different practices in the field. In terms of chemicals and  fertilizers, we uses different approach. Like applying  organic chemicals and fertilizers instead of using synthec  products to help the soil maintain its productivity and  balance its health.

​My aunt is selling gold necklaces, rings, and earrings. She started this  business since she is fond of buying gold as an investment. My mom is  also helping her with this business. She started this business two years ago. They are posting it online to attract more buyers and selling it to  some of their friends. They also assure the buyers that they're dealing  with a legit seller, since fake sellers are very rampant in online business nowadays. She said that this business is very risky since the prices of its products are very expensive. She encountered a lot of challenges, like  bogus buyers, joiner buyers, and items that were not shipped because of problems with delivery. There are also problems, like the buyers who are still not paying them. My aunt said that even though this business is risky, there is also an advantage to it since you can just sell the products at home.

2. What types of business? How many years since? 
- Businesss type, is  Agrivet supplies.
- This business was first manipulated in 1999, and it has already progressed for 23 years, with a deadline of December 8, 2022.
3. What their own approach to making a sale (diskarte og pagpamaligya)?
- According to the proprietor, the ideal method for achieving business success is to maintain strong relationships with customers and family. Furthermore, they must have self-discipline in order to manage their firm, as well as a preference for buying full stocks in order to meet the needs of their clients.
4. What are the problems  and challenges they encounter upon doing this business since the start-up.
- According to the proprietor, the troubles and hurdles they have had since starting their firm. The first is a flash flood, which can damage our equities due to a variety of factors, including bad accounts or debt.

- Accordingly the advantages of doing this type of business are that you will gradually save money for starting a new business and that you will also be able to develop new ideas that will meet your daily needs. We want to provide good service with good relationships to our customers, and if you are happy and enjoy what you are doing, it will show in your business. - Considering the location of their business is urban area and near the  school that's the main reason why they started the barber shop  business. 
2.What type of business. How many years since? 
- The type of the business is Barber shop and it is founded since 2015.
3.What are their own approach to making a sale (diskarte sa  pagpamaligya)
- The strategy of their business  is that strong will to serve the  customers, work under pressure. Since the common customer is  students, the students or people who have already made their haircut is they will relay the business location to their friends and family. One  thing that made them famous is that they offer less cost of haircut.
4.What  are the problems and challenges they encounter upon doing  this business, since the start-up. 
- The problems and challenges they encounter upon doing this type of business since the startup, is that there are days which they have less customer. And also when there's sudden out of electricity.

- The main benefits of this business is that cheaper than salons. As the business goes by, don't be afraid to fail, face and take the risks. Being persistence and consistency is the key of achieving this  business.

The nature of the business is Sari-Sari Store. Although, Small businesses surround us, they are on every other street and in every corner but every second thing someone buys comes from a small business. She and her family started the business with a small capital but with a strategic location. Although she has a job in the office, she does not have much difficulty in handling her business because her mother helps her in organizing it and in addition, they still have sales staff. Some of the skills she applied is the effective financial management, it is vital for a beginner like her for the survival and growth of the business. It involves planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring financial resources in order to achieve her goals in her Sari-sari store. And the other skills she mentioned to me are good customer service, time management, leadership to the store helpers, problem solving and good decision making. Perhaps she knew these things simply because of the course she had completed in college. In the long run, she is eyeing to make the store be bigger taking advantage of the strategic location. And, the main goal is to make it a wholesale grocery store with a lower price of products catering a bigger market around the area.

Peanut Butter and Banana Chips
Their business started way back in 2003 and stopped in 2004. They started it again in 2008 and stopped in 2010. and started again when the pandemic happened because her father didn't go back abroad anymore. They are selling peanut butter and banana chips. They've been promoting their products to their neighbors before. And ever since the pandemic started, they made a Facebook page for their business. They also sell it to some convenience stores near them. So far, the challenges they have encountered are how they are going to deliver their products when they have orders since they don't have a car. And sometimes they'll run out of supply in their peanut butter containers since the order hasn't arrived yet. Since her mother and her siblings are the ones who prepare their products, this has been the reason for their bond. They are receiving good feedback about their products. That's why, whatever challenges and problems they encounter, they still trust and continue their business.
