In addition to modeling for @cloudberry_lady, I also modeled for Triple Fortune and Haenuli! It was a bit crazy backstage and we didn’t have a mirror so I had no idea what I looked like until the photos came out. Thanks to xin pan for the photos!

Anime Matsuri Lolita Weekend 

Earlier this month we traveled to Houston, Texas, and attended Anime Matsuri, one of the largest Japanese fashion-orientated conventions in America. Here are the highlights of the convention from a lolita’s perspective, featuring coordinate shots, a lolita fashion wedding, and a fashion show with international designers (Angelic Pretty, Atelier Boz, Putumayo, Meta) and models (Akira, Midori, Misako, Minori, Reika, Chokelate, Yui, Yura)!

It was an amazing experience meeting so many people from all around the globe who traveled to Texas for the event. Thanks for letting us put our camera in your faces!

I myself have a stronger feeling of dislike for the group. It’s pretty obvious that it was started for personal gain. I don’t want to say anything inflammatory but information about Kate’s past behavior is out there for all to see if they bothered looking for it. Someone who openly allows bullying to happen when she is a mod should not be starting a group like this.

On the second day I wore ouji again.this time I twinned with honeyteaclover! We did very different things with the salopette tho.

Honeyteaclover wanted a photo with Shiva in her new jacket from boz. It turned out to work very well with the more mature look she had planned! Her neck bow and necklace are from Moss Marchen.

I went for a much cuter look than usual. I originally wanted to make rabbit ears fir the coord since its the White Rabbit salopette but I ran out of time so I reused some cat ears I had made for a previous meet two weeks before. My Jabot is home made and the blouse is from the floral notebook.

I hope you guys like the cute look on me! It’s not what I’m used to.

Oh! That day I went to my first maid cafe with Yanise and Alula. Alula picked our butler Kwazuma. He was the perfect choice and a good sport! We had a great time joking with him tho we had to break him first >:)

First coord for Anime Matsuri. I’m coording with @ChapterBabylon again but it’s quite a different look!

The set is part of the Lolita ambassador’s table in the vendors area. We were able to meet Mila, Natine, Stephanie and Daniela. They’re all very sweet and friendly! Plus they each brought popular snacks from their country. What’s not to like? !

I’m wearing my gorgeous Haenuli Little Women dress or three 200 pintuck dress as it is commonly known. The socks are from IW. I’ll update the info for the floral headdress soon~

I twinned with ChapterBabylon at the first Nightfall event! It was rushed but I’m satisfied with the results. I wasn’t able to do the makeup the way I wanted because I was modeling in the fashion show that evening so it’s not as androgynous as I would have liked.

As for the event I had a great time. I bought quite a few more things than I thought I would. Pins from Peppermint Fox and accessories from Moss Marchen including the crown I wore for the fashion show.

Finally an ILD post.

In NYC it's very difficult to host large group events. It can get very expensive so it's easier for people to attend smaller events for closer friends. This winter ILD, the beautiful Honeyteaclover  hosted the event at King's Carriage. The venue is wonderful and has always been very polite and happy to see Lolitas.

This is my first winter ILD meet and I decided to go in ouji~ The theme was "Regal" so I went aristocratic and made a crown. Everyone looked so beautiful. I wish I had a camea T^T. Sooon~ I have one picked out but I am saving up.

Besides having a good time with friends in a beautiful setting, this ILD was special for other reasons including getting to meet the cute Abby Pan, wife of our friend and photographer Xin (Peter) Pan. ThisLittleDolly also organized a shoot with Elle magazine Quebec in conjunction with an article about Lolita fashion. It was a bit intimidating but the photographer was very discreet. You can see me in the video!

Birthday weekend with Akira! Again I don't have a lot of photos but I had a great time. On Saturday we went to see a wonderful illustration show at Society of Illustrators before heading over to Francois Payard's Patisserie for high tea. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Definitely worth another visit. My birthday fell on the same weekend that Akira was in town so I got to go meet her and attend a special tea party on Sunday 11/23. I have to say Akira is very charismatic and engaging. My favorite kera model so far even tho I think Midori is the most beautiful. I tried an attempt at dansou/ouji but it was a last minute attempt because I had between so busy. When I was younger I used to get confused for a boy all the time. I used to wear boy clothung but even when I was wearing a skirt, I got confused for a boy once. It might have to do with the fact that I'm really tall compared to most Asian girls.
