Tray 1 vs tray 18 I love love love how much straighter those front two are ! My ortho appointment was overdue but I finally was able to go see him today. He gave my trays 18-23, and my next appointment isn't until June 29th He said at that appointment we may take new impressions and begin on the 'refining trays'

6 months in

Finally hit the 6 month mark with my Invisalign 🙌🏻 I’m on tray 17, which means I am almost 70% done with the bottom, and over 50% done with the top. Yay! Changing to tray 18 next week and then I need to wait til my next ortho appointment on June 2nd before I can change again. So happy to be over halfway done !

Day 150;

So today is day 150 of my Invisalign treatment. I am on tray 13, and I'll be switching to tray 14 Wednesday. There are times when I'm like ugh this is such a pain I'm ready for it to be done already, then there are other times when I am so grateful that I'm finally able to have the smile I've always wanted. There are ups and downs, but overall, I'm still so happy I have Invisalign

Started tray 8 this morning. No pain, which is good cause I was worried switching after 10 days would make it more painful. Loving the results I've seen so far. 98 days in!

Projected schedule

Here is what I’m thinking my ‘tray switching’ schedule will look like for the next couple months, if all goes as planned switching every 10 days.

Tray 7: wed feb 11 8: fri feb 20 9: sun March 1 10: tue mar 10 11: fri mar 19

Ortho appt Tue mar 24 

12: sat March 28 13: Mon April 6 14: wed April 15 15: fri April 24 16: sun may 3

Started tray #7 today👌 Also, had an ortho appointment. He said in doing great with my trays, and that I can start switching after every 10 days instead of every two weeks. Yay! He also filed between my front bottom teeth. First time I had gotten that done and it was a weird feeling, but didn't hurt at all. These trays don't seem too too tight so hopefully I won't be in pain all day. I'm used to changing them at night before bed, not at 8am 😏

I get my invisliagn aligners next week... Any tips or things that I should to buy in advance?

When I first got it, I went to the store and got so much stuff that I thought for sure I would need. But after just a few weeks I realized it wasn't really necessary. I have fond that overtime I started just bringing my toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouth wash when I went places. One thing I would definitely recommend that I didn't discover till a few weeks in was dental wax!! Each tray is different, and some don't have any problems, but with a couple of mine I've experienced really sharp edges that cut into my gums. Put a little dental wax on them and your good to go 👌 truly a life savor. Let me know if you have any other questions, and good luck!!

Started tray 6 last night! Officially 20% done with my bottom teeth! Yay for mini check points. These ones feel nice and tight. The pain sucks but I keep reminding myself that it means my teeth are moving 👌

Day 43;

Can't believe how long I've already had the invisalign. Almost 2 months! I started tray 4 last night. Tight at first as always but by today it was already feeling better. It might be all in my head but I already feel as though my teeth are starting to straighten out. So glad I started this journey!
