God help me I do not understand the moon. I'm an intelligent woman and I'm so unnerved by this bizarre blind spot. I've seen the models and had it explained to me many times, but just now I was looking at the thin crescent moon out my window and I just don't understand how it makes that shape. It actually makes me feel scared of the moon. It doesn't make sense in a Lovecraftian way to me. Just now standing at the window I said out loud that I may not understand how it works, but other people have looked into it and it does make sense somehow. I had a 3 hour psychological exam in September and was told I have significantly impaired spacial understanding due to my ADHD. Sometimes I truly resent living in the 3D world. I'm always knocking things over and misjudging my body's position. I was born to organize spreadsheets and watch movies only.
