This cast seems to get along really well and they all seem really excited for where this is going. Boun especially kept wanting to spill beans but they all did very well not saying anything.

I love how involved Boun is in the whole process. That's so cool and I'm so pleased for him (he's so delighted to be doing this). Really looking forward to the weekend.

Revamp Ep 1 Random

Everyone is so pretty. So, so pretty.

What is going on with Punn and Pokpong? Why is Punn pushing him away (because he totally is) when his bb bro clearly just wants to be close to him? Is he doing one of those "they can give you a better life than I can" things? It seems like it but man, he could be better about it.

Ramil just not liking human blood is hilarious, if true.

Jet and Punn are exes right? RIGHT??? Also yay so happy to see Kay again I haven't seen him since he broke my heart in HSF.

Ramil being a princess who can't cook is hilarious. Love him trying to wheedle his way to a comfortable bed and just calling Methas over to make veggies for Punn to eat. And I see all of you with the talk about broccoli.

For some reason Barcode vampire having an entire cult complete with pet crows is killing me.

I really liked this first episode. It still has shades of the darker tone from the pilot trailer which makes me happy, but is also doing a good job walking the line between more serious and humor - at least right now. There was a lot of lore dropped on us at once in the end but it still didn't feel like a ton, and I like that - I'll be annoyed if we don't get some explanations as we go on but I think they did enough for a first ep.

My one real quibble is with youtube only - I think that the episode times should have been better distributed. Those last two parts went by in a blink, and thus made the pacing feel off for the entire show, at least to me. I have Iqiyi but I am too impatient to wait an extra hour, dammit.

So far I think that my interest lies mostly with Punn - there's a lot going on with him that is right under the surface, it seems, and already I just wanna drop a rock on his calm passivity and see what ripples out. Also the brother stuff with him and Pokpong is going to hurt me a lot I already know. I'm always a sucker for painful family dynamics.

Mostly I'm just still so jazzed that this is finally here.
