In case you were wondering how this shit show ended...

JC was the final person voted out in a 3-1 vote, becoming the last member of the jury.

Ashley, Karen, and Jeff each plead their case to the jury, where Ashley ultimatlye became Island of Shade’s second winner with six votes!

Karen received two votes to win, and was this season’s runner-up. She was also named Scruff Player of the Season!

And, in case you missed it, Brian beat out Dani in the draft with a last-minute push by Ashley, winning by only two points! Congrats Brian!

Congratulations to the four of you for making it to the final immunity challenge! This is your most important competition yet - don’t fuck it up!

As you all know, this season started out with a theme: mind, body, and soul. For your final challenge, you will compete in three parts, each one embodying one of these three distinct divisions. One person will be eliminated in each part, leaving one winner!

Part One - Mind

For this part, you will be playing a simple flash game, “2048.” You can find a link to the game here. You must submit a screenshot of your score with the full screen (date/time included) and your name in the URL. You may submit as many times as you’d like, your most recent score will be accepted. The person with the lowest score will be eliminated.

Part Two - Soul

For this part, you will be playing “Two Truths and a Lie” with the jury! Each of the seven jury members has submitted two truths and one lie. When you are ready to begin, you will message your host chat. We will then send you a google form where you will try to identify each juror’s lie. One you’ve submitted it, message your host chat again. The person with the lowest score will be eliminated. If there is a tie, your time will be the tiebreaker.

Part Three - Body

For this part, you will be playing “Hand on Idol.” Here is how it works. When you are ready, you will message your host chat saying you’d like to begin. Once you start, the goal is simple - last the longest. Every five minutes, you will type “I’m holding the idol.” You may only send one message every five minutes (to the minute, not the second, meaning you can post at 4:50:59 and again at 4:55:01, as long as it is somewhere within the :50 and somewhere within the :55). If you send a message early or late, or if you include a typo in your message, you are done! You may NOT remove or edit messages. The person who lasts the longest will win, and guarantee themself a spot in the final three.

You will be submitting ALL THREE PARTS, and then we will determine who is eliminated in each one. You won’t know if you’ve made it to the end until everything is due! You need to submit a 2048 score, complete the Two Truths and a Lie quiz, and attempt the hand on the idol challenge by Sunday, June 25 at 4 PM EST. Tribal will be THAT NIGHT (Sunday), so start thinking about how you would like to vote.

This penultimate immunity challenge is a throwback to House of Shade 15! It’s called All Around the World and here’s how it works.

You will be taking a hypothetical journey around the world with certain guidelines you must follow in order for your trip to be successful. Your journey must start and end in the city of Trabzon, Turkey (which has its own international airport). The following rules need to be followed for your trip to be successful:

You must visit 6 continents

You must travel by train at least twice.

You must drive a car at least twice.

You must fly at least four times.

You must be in at least 6 different countries (including Turkey).

You may do more but you cannot do less.

You must submit screenshots of the plane tickets, train tickets, and gas  money used so we can see the time of departure and arrival, cost, and  other important information.

You must also explain your trip in order and how you made it from point A to point B to point C and so on and so forth.

The goal is to have the cheapest trip possible, and whoever achieves that will be crowned the new Head of Household!

A few additional notes:

For the driving portions, you must look up the price of gas wherever you’re driving and calculate the cost of gas. Assume that the car you use gets 30 miles to the gallon. You do not need to account for the cost of renting a car in your total.

For the flying and rail portions, any trip planning website should work. TripAdvisor and the Google Flight Matrix are good places to start.

Layovers count as visits!

You don’t need to worry about lodging, food or any travel expenses other than transportation.

You may not spend more than five days in any destination. When you choose to start the trip is up to you, but all dates and times must be visible and must make sense/be physically possible.

You will have 2 DAYS to complete this challenge. Please submit a Microsoft Word or Google Docs document explaining your trip with screenshots by Wednesday, June 21 at 9 PM EST. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask in your host chat. Good luck!

Nicholas, you came back into this game with something to prove after going to rocks your first season. I think it’s safe to say that what happened to you then is a large reason why rocks weren’t drawn tonight! As IOS competitors this season, you’ve grown accustomed to lots of twists and turns. We have one final twist in store for you, and now that we’re down to six competitors the time has come for this twist to reveal itself.

At the beginning of the game, a prize was hidden on our Rules page, and it was discovered by Nicolas. This prize was a parchment which described the Legacy Advantage, and with this parchment in hand, Nicolas could make himself automatically immune at either Final 11 or Final 6. However, if Nicolas were voted out with this parchment, he would have to will it to someone. Nicolas, obviously, did not use the advantage at final 11 and was voted out at final 10, when he passed it on to Julia. Julia was voted out right after at Final 9, and she willed it to someone who is still in the game and therefore, immune at tomorrow night’s tribal council.

That person is JC.

That means you may not vote for Jeff OR for JC at tomorrow night’s tribal council. Good luck everyone and congratulations on making it this far!

With just six of you left, the stakes are higher than ever. Let’s get to your next immunity challenge.

This challenge is quite simple! Welcome to 20 QUESTIONS.

Each of you has been randomly assigned 2 Survivor castaways. When you are ready to begin your challenge, you will proceed to your host chat and ask your first question. Your goal is to ask yes/no questions which will help you narrow down who your first castaway is. Once you think you know it, you will ask, “is it (name of castaway)?” If you’re incorrect, you’ll need to keep asking more questions, but if you’re correct, the first part is done and we will repeat the process for your second castaway.

We will take how many questions you asked for part 1 and part 2 and AVERAGE them to determine your final score. We will also ask a tiebreaker question at the end to everyone, just in case.

We originally wanted to give two days for this challenge, but due to the extension of last round’s challenge, we’re asking that everyone complete this by 9 PM EST tomorrow, June 18th. We can extend it by an hour or two if need be, but no matter what, your next tribal council will take place on Monday night. This shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes to complete.

I can't say that it didn't affect me but I really can't say if it was in a good way or bad way yet. Only time will tell what happens

I'm always nervous! The pressure should always be on whether you're immune or not!

Karen: You went from a very successful vote-steal play to winning immunity. Slay!!! How does it feel? Is this tribal any more or less important being that you are immune?

Feels amazing WHEW ! Every tribal is important tru regardless of whether I'm immune or not but it's also a great time to maybe make a move so

Nicholas: Neither the baba or the merge idol have revealed themselves thus far. Has there been any paranoia surrounding the idols at camp?

Ashley Sarah: It seemed like one of your closest allies was taken out last tribal. You also received your first vote of the game. How does this make you feel? Any impact on how you will approach the rest of the game?

It sucks losing your ride or die but you gotta go on. At this point I have to think about how to stay in and what's best for me moving forward.

Duncan: How have you been coping with the messiness that has been the running theme of these merge tribal councils?

I've just been enjoying my time on the island tbh. Like I don't know how to keep up but I'm trying to! And hopefully I'm not he worst at keeping up. You don't have to outrun the bear, just the slowest person.

JC: You seemed to be at the center of a vote controversy after the results of last tribal came out. Do you expect any repercussions from that?

I know for a fact half the cast has lied and everyone has plotted and schemed. So, I'm hoping that the repercussions I face don't result in me leaving and I'm gonna do everything I can to ensure I don't.

Jeff: You won immunity for the third time in a row omg wig. Do you think this paints a target on your back? How important is loyalty to your game?

I think it probably does put a target on my back but I think there is probably one on it already. Loyalty is super important to my game bc it makes me determine who I want to keep around in the game!

Karen: You were pretty flagrantly called out by Matthias after last tribal council. Do you feel this put a target on your back? Have you and Matthias mended fences? Or are the wounds still fresh?

Nicholas: You were at the monastery during the mess that was last tribal council. What were your thoughts when you returned to camp? Shook? Happy?

i mean i was pretty shook when i came back because i definitely missed a lot while i was away with the monks! I’m excited to be back though because i was hella bored!

Matthias: So you were DQ’d from the immunity challenge. Did you feel discouraged? Did you feel like you really needed it?

First I gave up, then I didn't but now I rlly just wanna leave again because no one rlly likes me and I can't win a comp but w/e
