Say what you will about Harland and Wolff, but they know how to build an absolutely marvellous ship. The Oceanic has a top speed of 21 knots which is very good speed given its size (plus it’s not built for speed but rather comfort)! It has a capacity for 1,710 passengers along with 349 crew.

*dreamy sigh* and don’t get me started on the the four cylinder triple expansion engines it has, truly a feat of engineering…

I am Ira Whitlock, I must say that this device is new to me (a creation of the Americans I presume) so I do apologise for any mistakes I may make. I love all ships but I'm have a special place in my heart for ocean liners. I’ll also be vetting eligible bachelors for my dear daughter Annabel Lee (She seems quite taken with Leo Vandernacht, but one must consider all options before making a decision on something as important as marriage).
