To Believe or Not Believe The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. Matthew 8:8 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:58 As I read these 2 verses today I see one man who knew and believed in Christ our Lord and His power and authority; he knew the natural as well as the supernatural and in this he humbled himself in saying "I'm not worthy that You may come to my home" the word worthy in the Greek is hikano's which means sufficient enough. He basically said Jesus I am not sufficient enough that You may enter my home, what a beautiful picture of this centurion to know his position and yet humble himself before the Lord. "With humility comes honor. With honor comes access. With access comes authority." I read this in this devotionals, the truth is this is the way God works in our lives, when we humble ourselves before Him, He will work mighty works in us. But when there is pride, arrogance, and the hardening of the hearts there is no way that God can perform His purpose in your lives as we can see in the second verse, their unbelief didn't allow for Jesus to heal and deliver those in this place. We can see in the book of James 1:6-8 it says: But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. And as we continue to read the next two verses it states how the lowly which means humbled how God exalts them, while he who is rich God humbles. https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Ef8ecFcqP/?igshid=15ddjhmgizag5

📖 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. Psalms 138:7 . . 📖 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15 . . 📖 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6 . . 📖 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” I Peter 5:5 . . 📖 Surely He scorns the scornful, But gives grace to the humble. Proverbs 3:34 . . 📖 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 📖 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 . . 📖 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7 . . So what is the Christian calling? According to God's Word is to:. . 🏁PREACH {G2784 = Karruso; Of uncertain affinity; to herald (as a public crier), especially divine truth (the gospel): - preach (-er), proclaim, publish.}, to 🏁TEACH { G3100 = mathēteuō; to be a disciple of one, to follow his precepts and instructions, to make a disciple, to teach, instruct.}... 🏁OBSERVE {G5083 = tēreō; to attend to carefully, take care of, to guard, to reserve: to undergo something.} And to... 🏁KEEP THE FAITH { G4101 = Pistis; a strong and welcome conviction or belief that Jesus is the Messiah, through whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of God. . 📖 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 . . 📖 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. 📖 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; Job 19:25 . . What a wonderful promise, yes our Redeemer once was here and He came to deliver us from our sins also making it possible for us to draw near to God, Yeshua became our intercessor. Once I was dead in spirit, but He breath life in me again the day I believed that He gave His last breath on the cross for me. This promise was not only for me, but to all who believe, it is by faith and not sight. This might sound hard to comprehend, but the truth is when you put your trust on the one who gave you life you will actually live for the first time in your life. I don't know what this may look like for you, but for me I can say "finally now I know why I am!". ... 📖 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:16-19 . 📖 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Romans 8:34. . 📖 For we walk by faith, not by sight. II Corinthians 5:7 . . 📖 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. He Knows.... .... 📖 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. John 4:34 . . 📖 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. Hebrews 5:8. . Jesus knew temptation: “He was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan” Mark 1:13. Jesus knew poverty: “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head” Matthew 8:20. Jesus knew frustration: “He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.… ‘Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father’s house into a market!’” John 2:15-16. Jesus knew weariness: “Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well” John 4:6. (To tell the good news and truth that the samaritan women may be saved) Jesus knew disappointment: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem…how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks,…but you were not willing” Luke 13:34. Jesus knew rejection: “From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him” John 6:66. Jesus knew sorrow: “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death” Matthew 26:38. Jesus knew ridicule: “Again and again they struck him…and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid [mocking] homage to him” Mark 15:19. Jesus knew loneliness: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46.. .... From time to time you may feel this way, but there is hope, if you have faith in the One who knew and knows and yet would never leave you He will be there. . . 📖 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, I Timothy 2:5-6 . . 📖 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. 📖 Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord ; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. If You, Lord , should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. I wait for the Lord , my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. 📖 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep. Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord , The fruit of the womb is a reward. Psalms 127:1-3. . 📖 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord , that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 https://www.instagram.com/p/ByILkVjFiKt/?igshid=12uq0t183dzwh

📖 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 📖 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. I John 4:8 . . 📖 I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord , Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. Psalms 121:1-8 Love = agape . . G26: Agape Strong's Definition: From G25; love, that is, affection or benevolence ; specifically (plural) a love feast: - (feast of) charity ([-ably]), dear, love. 📖 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. I Peter 4:2 . . 📖 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 📖 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard (protect by a military guard, either to prevent hostile invasion,) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 . . 📖 And let the peace of God rule (umpire, to govern, to decide) in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15 . . 📖 Peace ( the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is) I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27. . 📖 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord , is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3-4 . . ~~~~~~~~ The things of this world can bring chaos, destruction and take away our joy and not the temporal and empty joy this world brings, but that, that is of God a calmness of the soul that though this world can bring afflictions Gods peace and joy stirs the tranquility and assurance that He is with us, and we can say with confidence "this too shall pass." It's that agape love He gives, undeserving love that was granted through our Lord Jesus Christ who became our sacrifice, who paid our penalty of death, who completed the works that we may live. Let your minds simmer in this the peace of God surpasses all knowledge and our understanding so stop trying to figure God out and let Him show you who He is in spirit and in truth.. ~~~~~~~~ https://www.instagram.com/p/BxuV9I7F0Ic/?igshid=b8tkuzfwkree

God’s Kingdom... . . God is not democratic. His Kingdom is not a democracy. He is never subject to our whim or rule. The only real authority we ultimately have with God is the right to completely rule Him out of our lives. You can do that. But who in their right minds wants to? That’s the decision of those who refuse Christ, who reject God’s redemption and rule through His appointed King. . But once I receive Jesus Christ as Savior, He enters to become Lord. Once my choice is to “rule Him in,” He comes in to rule! He takes over at Master-control and exercises God’s Kingdom rule to achieve our best blessing and highest destiny. . Taking Hold of Tomorrow. . . 📖 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” II Chronicles 16:9 {PRAISES IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD DEVOTIONAL} https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxq29aFlup3/?igshid=1so3x5ckbnku7
