I don't know if people realize how slow, how EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW the process of Hector's desecration was

As a small post that could be considered a continuation of this one here as well, since I just now remembered that I had written this in the past

Like picture it for one second how slow the process was after Hector was stabbed to death by Achilles...

Hector bleeds to death as he breathes out his final breath

The silence that follows his death as the people of Troy watch

Achilles potentially stand over his enemy when his revenge seems partially complete

Achilles bends down and starts removing pieces of armor (he has to untie cordons, remove the plates or greeves, the helmet and weapons...)

He places the arms on his chariot

He strips the body of Hector naked

He fetches the rope from his chariot

He ties Hector's body to it

He rides his chariot

He starts driving around the city dragging Hector with him

Like imagine how throughout all that process no one dared to utter a word, no one dared to get close to Achilles to stop him, no one even seemed to make an attempt or a thought of it. They all saw Achilles in some sort of a state between stillness and rage, do the ultimate shame to their prince on one side and to their greatest rival from the other and no one did a thing while Achilles continued his horrible work undisturbed.

The profound grief and rage of Achilles as well as the unspeakable shock and tragedy over the loss of Hector had them all frozen in place. They wouldn't dare to do anything....

may be a hot take but i think the fact minors can access 18+ content by just clicking a button that says 'yes im totally over 18 trust me' is like. totally fine tbh. its a non-issue. i dont care if curious teenagers are looking at porn. they've been doing that for as long as porn has existed. id rather teens explore their sexuality through images on the internet than rush into real life experiences when they're not ready for it yknow. the UK is trying to put stricter age verification in place (which in turn is becoming an online privacy nightmare) and like. for what. who is it helping. why is this a problem.
