so !!  my move to @leszard is almost complete!  i just need to set up some more graphics and save a few drafts over there, and it will be ready to go !!  i’m not archiving this blog yet bc i wanna scan over its contents to see if there’s anything else i need from it, but.  i’m excited to have a clean slate on the other blog :)

oops another psa.

so my usb drive with all of my icons for ALL of my characters and psds got bent and wont work anymore.  which means that i’ve lost all of my icons, psds, caps, etc.

this has pretty much crushed me especially since i just finished capping ilia and putting a psd on her with my brand new icons.

ilia shipped ruby a tiny package. inside the box was a recruitment pamphlet that ilia has been working on. "show this to blake" was written on a sticky note on the pamphlet. what took up the bulk of the package though was one of ilia's new black jackets — & she'd already worn it, so she hoped her scent was still on it.

Ruby had sent word to Ilia the moment they arrived in Argus. She hadn’t exactly told her that they left the train to walk through the freezing north of Anima. She of course apologized in her letter and told her everything that had transpired. She sent the letter with the fastest delivery and hoped something would arrive before they left.

She was surprised when a package arrived for her, with perfect timing to boot. They were supposed to be stealing the air ship tomorrow and to say that she was nervous was an understatement. Ruby’s hands took the pamphlet carefully in her hands, tugging the note off with a smile before flipping through it. It had come out wonderfully, and she couldn’t be more proud of her girlfriend’s handiwork. 

Setting it aside, Ruby pulled out the black blob, causing it to instantly unfold. Ilia’s new jacket. Her heart skipped a beat, carefully hugging to close to her. It was soft, and while cold from being shipped, she could feel a warmth blooming inside her chest. Tears welled in her eyes as she toppled over sideways on her bed, burying her face in the material and breathing slowly. It was an acceptable substitute for her girlfriend.

“I miss you..“ Ruby muttered softly, not even trying to stop her tears.

hi!  i feel like there are a few things i need to address.

1.  i’d prefer if you guys started calling me hal instead of blue!  i won’t Not Respond to blue, but i’m trying to see if i would like hal for a new irl name, so the more people use it for me, the quicker i will be able to see if i like it.

2.  please use they/them pronouns for me!

3.  i am going to reboot ilia’s blog.  it will be a new url, new blog, etc.  my muse for ilia has been pretty much dead.  i feel like a complete restart will help me, especially with some of my discomfort with my own dash.  so i’m making new graphics, i have a new psd, etc.  i will be reblogging all of my headcanons over in a queue.  this reboot will likely take place AFTER the v6 finale just so i can organize my thoughts in terms of rp, but i may jump the gun if i get excited enough lol.

3a.  that being said, a lot of threads are going to be dropped.  i know i’ve not exactly been active recently either.  but a fresh, clean slate is really going to boost my morale to write my little lizard baby.

confirmed: all ilia and sun do together is go eat food and talk about being gay.  she loves u both, @brightlikewukong & @sunstide.

          “ what are you — ”  she stops herself once she realizes that weiss isn’t just bumping into her or not paying attention, but rather, taking her hand.  “ — oh. ”  it comes out confused, the chameleon’s brows lowering as twin gray eyes gaze and narrow in the schnee’s direction.  yes, it has been a long time since the two have been so close ( both mentally and physically ).  amitola was once affectionate with her friends, at things like school sporting events or fun days.  back when she felt like a princess.  but those days had been long gone, and the white fang hadn’t exactly been kind to her under adam’s reign.  

         maybe weiss feels like there won’t be guilt in separating this time, now that they’ve made amends ( and the current situation is nothing like that horrid day within the walls of atlas prep ).  ilia realizes, slowly, that this is a different weiss schnee than the one she used to go to school with.  she’s trying to right her wrongs and be better — and that sounds an awful lot like the young faunus herself.  

          inhaling deeply, she squeezes the former - heiress’s hand in return, running her thumb along the tops of her knuckles like wind over the earth.  despite the spike in her nerves, she’s still able to bring out the snark in full force, and smiles all the while.  “ so is this … an extended apology?  or did you just miss holding my hand? ”  initially, by tone of voice, weiss might think she’s being sarcastic.  but if she looks closely, she’ll see the playful yellow glimmer in ilia’s eyes for the first time — the one she hid before either of them became their true selves.
