I would like to offer another perspective on Fullmetal Alchemist. I have read the manga, watched the anime, and seen the manga and anime bonus content, and in my view, none of it is hostile or harmful to queer people. I think the characters Garfiel and Darius appear to be queer. I enjoy these characters and the cast of characters in general. I am queer, and I personally feel represented and uplifted by the diversity of the characters and their gender expressions. Fullmetal Alchemist is friendly and helpful to this queer person!

Looking at Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Manga -> It is harmful for queer people due to the character Garfiel appearing to be a queer/gay man stereotype. He's also depicted SAing Kimblee in the 4komas, and while talking about the 4komas, Darius appears to be queer regarding a few "jokes" regarding him in them.

I 1000% forgot about that because he’s a minor character and it’s been a little bit since I read the manga/watched the series, thanks for bringing it up!
