Very nice. Too bad it's only animation. Of course there are photographs of the first chump after he became a Good Communist. 😁

Three knuckleheads. As Jayne (r) gets older, he spends more time with the sisters, and they play a bit; At least until he decides that hanging out isn't as much fun as trying to chew on one of their legs or ears. Then someone - usually Fen, on the far left - gets in his face. Louie will mount him just to remind him who's boss. Even so, at 80+ pounds now, he has learned that he can body slam 'em - which usually results in harsher response from Fen. She don't play that shit!

Right up front: this ain't a "poor pitiful me" post. Life on life's terms is what it is. So, at the beginning of the year, I got some unwelcome news after a prostate check, followed up by a biopsy; I am now officially one of those fellas around the country diagnosed with cancer. I am told it's quite curable, but this will involve removing the traitorous organ, and other significant changes. To my mind it beats the shit out of an early dirt nap. What I am leading up to is this: if you're a fella over 50, do yourself a favor and Get. Checked. Regardless of your age, pay attention to what your body is telling you, and you just might live a lot longer.

The lad at 7 months. Long, tall, and getting stronger all the time. He is becoming quite the companion. Now, if I could persuade him to stop whining and bitching when he doesn't get the attention he believes he deserves...

Mr. Jayne at 6 months. Filling out, in a growth surge now(taller and longer). Weighed in at 55lbs on Saturday the 16th. Loves to run and play, full of affection at all times. That's my boy!

Jayne at 5.5 months..46.5 pounds. He is part of the pack now, the grrls having accepted him; they even school him in the household routine! His fusion with the pack has gone much faster than I thought it would. Much credit to my Loki, and the grrls too, for bringing the wrinkleheaded knucklehead along.

Several weeks ago, the little lady above - Louie - wanted to beat the brindle right off of new kid JB(formally known as Jayne Beans). As of yesterday, there was playing and chasing going on in the yard, and Louie only corrected him once, when he playfully jumped on her head; she didn't bite, but he immediately sat down in front of her. Progress is being made! He has also gained 6 lbs since being rescued.
