Hello everyone! We’ve been in discussion over the last few weeks and while I am not sure this is a surprise to anyone, we want to transition Iron River to a fully invitation-only group. We’re not closing, as we don’t have any intention of stopping writing our characters, we just really want to step away from admin duties that come with a public setting. 

Stepping away from maintaining the main allows us to have the flexibility that we really want for the group without having to dedicate some of our free time to updating pages, keeping up with the main and... you know, all the stuff I’m (Wren) generally terrible at. Transition to invitation-only also gives us the ability to focus more on writing, plots and character development.

If you want to join us, you still can! There is an application on the Application page, and we’ll follow up with you via discord once you submit. Past members are always welcome back :)

DETAILS/BACKGROUND

this is ty’s younger and only sibling. the dixon’s are a very tight knit family. ty and JR both have been learning the ins and outs and working on the ranch since they were old enough. their dad is a pretty stoic person, mostly business, but he always doted on their mom and did everything he could to instill good values in his kids. ty has always had to be a little more reserved, being the ‘heir’ to the Dixon empire, but JR got to be a little more free. he got to do more of what he wanted, he was able to get out of more of the charity events, but the work on the ranch was always split and always expected of both of them. JR and ty are incredibly close, especially after losing their mom when ty was sixteen ( JR would have been between ten and fourteen at the time ). their dad took it hard, but both of the boys took it harder. i feel like this would have really been the start of his rebellious phase in a way, where this was when he started doing more of what he wanted and getting into a little bit of trouble. he’s very mischievous, very playful, but underneath it all he’s a good person with a good head on his shoulders.
