(Sentences for muses who are in trouble and are worried or scared because of it. Adjust phrasing where needed)

"I am only going to say this one time, okay? Whatever stupid ideas you've got locked in that rock hard head of yours, they're going to get you killed!"

He’s not USED to help. People didn’t simply help Billy Hargrove. Sure, maybe if there were some sort of benefit in it for others. But never just of their own accord. And accepting help was weakness. That was what his father always said. That was something he was chided about any time that Max even dared speak up during one of his beatings.

It didn’t look like Katherine was going to back down, however. So setting his jaw and letting out a soft breath, he conceded.

“S’not that big of a deal…I’m used to it by now.” He replied, allowing Katherine to finally look his face over. His eye was already starting to swell, some of the cuts on his face finally starting to stop bleeding. Billy’s cheeks burned with shame, shame at showing even an ounce of weakness in this moment.

He’ll take that kiss and raise Jonathan with an even deeper and more passionate kiss. He’s missed him too. Actions always did speak louder than words in Billy’s case, able to express it much better like this.

That it’s buried deep down…” Billy’s voice was surprisingly soft, leaning in until they were almost nose to nose, ocean hues serious and almost intimidating.

“But there isn’t. And the only thing you’re going to find here is trouble.”

"Do I know you? You look so familiar."

“Don’t think so… Maybe I just have that kind of face.” Billy gave a small shrug of his shoulders as he looked at the stranger though it did spark up his curiosity a little bit. Had they run into each other before? His mind was coming up with a blank at the current moment.

He'd have to make sure to swear anybody that walked by into secrecy with a steely glare but if anyone did catch him...Sonny was well worth it.

“knew  it.”  she  practically  sung  while  grinning  ear  to  ear.  now  plopping  right  next  to  him  with  no  spacial  awareness.  the  flower  she  picked  earlier?  she's  now  placing  it  behind  his  ear.

Now someone apologizing? That was a new one and honestly unexpected at that. He gave a small shrug of his shoulders, hands delving into his pockets. It wasn't like he had been an angel himself. "No big deal...Shit happens."

Billy didn't really like to go back to that time, didn't like to think about it. It had taken months to get over the fact that something had been lurking inside of him, controlling him. More than that, the memory of all the things the creature had done while wearing his skin. He'd only barely managed to survive it and now here it was rearing it's ugly head all over again? "I don't really know what I can teach you about it that you don't already know...It took a powerful memory to snap me out of it. A powerful and happy memory. That and Eleven's powers. I don't know if it'll be enough to stop those things without her." He finally admitted, voice quiet and much more reserved than before. Almost sounding tired.

That was pretty succinct if she said so herself. The darkness had crept its fingers into Hawkins like ooze raining itself down the streets, it had infected so many people here. "You got it out. You and Will. But he's not here anymore and you are. We need you to teach us how you resisted it." The mind-control-like state that had taken over some of the adults in town was terrifying and she didn't want to end up like that.
