Not supporting cosmetic surgery doesn't make you "transphobic," it doesn't make you hateful. Disagreeing about narratives people use to understand their world and understand why they feel wrong within it isn't wrong. I have always treated struggling people with dignity and I have always been kind to them. But I am sick of living in a world that does not know how to think beyond these narrow narratives that cause people more pain than it helps them.

I just wonder why no one campaigns so hard on what workers “want” when it’s not prostitution. Have you ever met a trades man? Unless they have risen high enough it’s in their job description, they hate OSHA and safety compliance and safety restrictions. Every year roofing remains one of the highest if not the highest fatality jobs because men refuse to take the 3 minutes to put on proper safety gear. They would rather fall to their deaths than wear a harness correctly. And yet we don’t have anyone on the left campaigning on their “human rights” to do their job more efficiently, to do their job how they are comfortable, to do it how they want. We don’t have anyone saying OSHA makes it harder for roofers to earn a living or calling OSHA roof worker exclusionary for protecting their safety against their and their clients’ wills.

And yet any time even the most basic of protections for prostituted women is brought up you all fall hook line and sinker for pimp propaganda and start yelling about how required condoms will ruin the porn industry and how lawmakers are to blame for taking income away from vulnerable sex workers. You see it in how everyone always says “legalize and regulate” but no one can ever name what those regulations should be.

Like you guys call yourselves leftists and then side with the bosses who are openly saying they will retaliate against their “workers” if safety regulations pass. And you think you are on the right side of history

Not knowing how to differentiate who is a safe person, and who isn't, is not a reflection on your character. Having this ability comes naturally to some people, while to others it may not. Sometimes it has been traumatized out of you. It doesn't make you any worse of a person, and it doesn't mean you're to blame if they treat you terribly. The blame lies solely with them. But simultaneously it is so important to cultivate this awareness for your own sake, and to cultivate other skills that will help you protect yourself from harm.

Something being ' valid' or 'validating' for many modern lgbt people has gone from compassion to enabling nonsense.

For many ,' validating' someone is just being a sycophant and walking on eggshells about their stupid ideas because if you suggest they're out of touch, it's capitalism and anti community because community means you're now in charge of the most insecure person in the world self-esteem, and if you dont want to play along, it's white supremacist even though this person is the a white suburbanite.

Some things aren't valid, and sometimes it's offensive, wanting to be validated for something society already validates and doesn't stigmatise.

The trans homophobia on this website is so easy to casually stumble upon you don't have to go digging for it it's just right there plain as day, someone telling gay people it's absolutely ridiculous to only want to date one sex. That those sexed traits are negligible or can be surgically altered so how do you justify your attraction? Isn't it so closed minded?

Asks her if women can have a prostate, and she says people with prostates are biologically male but can sometimes be socially treated as women. (Which is true!!) And he says "oh so women can have prostates, got it"

there was some british university debate against christian white nationalist charlie kirk, and he got destroyed by who i'm pretty sure is a radfem or radfem aligned woman. he starts with 'what is a woman', she says 'adult, human female', he talks about radical islam, she doesn't defend it, but rather agrees while also bringing up fundamentalist christians, she briefly talks about how patriarchy hurts men too, but describes it as 'hurting your hand because you punched someone in the face'.

it seems like she was also being very careful to not appear 'terfy', so it was almost like she was fighting on two fronts in the debate, the vocal alt right of charlie, and the silent judgement of her left wing peers.

remember kids, the moral of "Irish and Italians weren't even considered White yet!" isn't "because in those times people were so ignorant they didn't think the Irish were white". the moral is "because white is an unreal category created to justify slavery and ongoing hoarding of power and wealth". obvs i cant be sure what all these self-identified “blackpill” women are doing irl, but it seems like a stretch to believe someone who finds value in circlejerking online about how stupid male-partnered women are and calling them “foids” is out there advocating for policies that protect largely those same women.

if your outlook is “women are just too stupid to liberate themselves and thus they deserve it” then can you really claim any political alignment lmao. you’re just an edgy defeatist doomer with a superiority complex. you aren’t helping anyone. if you want an insulated community of like-minded women then just say that and leave the wider radfem community out of it
