some of y'all about to be real mad at me, but it has to be said

the tumblr harringrove fandom really doesnt understand that they have both gone through things and have their reasons for the way that they act. they don't understand that they find comfort in each other during soft private moments or nsfw moments and that their way of being comforted reflects on the shit they've been through.

they don't understand that billy is too guarded to be a blubbering bitch or whatever yknow? like he would never be all "yeah neil hits me and makes me feel like i'm barely a person so i want to be degraded and spanked uwu" yknow? they really don't understand that he would never put himself in that position.

they don't understand that steve is the one that needs to be choked and shit. they don't realize he's a big ass mess and he needs that vulnerability (thats not the word i want but it works) he literally has to be so strong all the time for everyone. he protected the kids, told nancy it was okay she broke his heart and didn't even cry. he needs to be out of control for a while and let go.
