We wanted these monkeys to be activist, as we wanted a side of them to care about where they came from and to care about their ancestors and their family they left behind. As they were introduced into this human society, we wanted to go through a little bit of research to explore skincare and beauty products that they could advertise they didn't have Palm oil or things that affected their homeland and their family.

Monkeys
Our plan for our monkeys was to explore human elements but to keep the main storyline as that there are still monkeys trying to fit into the human society.
On the post we made we wanted to explore and different in personality between the two monkeys as is with more extrovert and outgoing and more into like dressing up and going out like make up and beauty related things, where Milz Was more of an introvert and was home orientated and love to read and more of the relaxed vibe but Milz did inspire Iz too be more orientated in Focusing on environmental issues.
We wanted the photographs on Instagram to be real and raw and not staged. As we can see through Instagram these are not beautiful photographs but they are related to the monkeys themselves. They're real and raw photographs, they sort of interconnect with the monkeys exploration of trying to fit in to the human Society. By taking these photographs of the day to day activities, To be accepted in this new society that they have moved into.

WK 9
Today we're gonna talk to the class and I collaborative pairs and discuss a personas for those class Miller and I joined the zoom together as we thought it would be easier to discuss and coherently display our personas we think the class went very well and we really enjoyed listening to everyone else’s personas. We definitely learnt a lot and also was able to get descriptive feedback on how we could improve our persona/character.

WK 8 Class response
Character development this class was really impactful for me to help me improve my persona development and character. To look at what my character fears, needs, wants and the conflicts my persona has to make sure the story I am trying to convey with the persona is coherent. After this class my collaborative partner Miller discussed how to make the story more coherent and what we need to do to succeed in this project.
We also looked at online personas for reference and found many inspiring personas to take a reference from.

WK 7 Class response
Today we looked at reflective analyse and the elements that are important when reflective analysing your work or other people's work. We got a very detailed table of the different elements of reflective analyst. Descriptive analyse interpret analyse and evaluate analyse, we went around groups and discussed one element. The element that the group I was in was talking was ‘interpret.’ This lesson helped me to be able to reflective analyse my work on other people's work more coherently and in deathly can help me make better decisions.
We also talked about home studios which really captured my full attention as we looked at some cool examples of homes studios and it really influenced me to create my own home studio at home.

WK 6 Class response
Today we got given the outline to the new criteria that we are going to follow we also discussed our ‘reiterative practice’ - Then we got put into groups to discuss elements of reiterative practice. I never looked at this so and deathly so I found it very interesting and learnt a lot about this practice. When we were in groups we looked at the examples and we discussed the elements that were missing from this approach and how we approach our own practice.

WK 5 class Response
Problem-solving in today's class we discussed in groups how to collaborate and to have a Coherent and evident performance as a collaborative pair. Motivation we got a task to write examples of elements about ‘motivation’ my element to discuss was ‘goals’ i wrote - Go to sleep at a reasonable time. Get all the work done to best of your ability. To be consistent with a daily routine. Less Netflix, more uni work. This was a good task to introduce us back into uni and to make the important adjustments to be able to succeed in this project.

Mila and I tied string to the tops of the toy Monkeys so we could have a little bit more control of some movement. We wanted to do this as we had an idea for an Instagram post to make them jump into each other’s arms with excitement after seeing each other after lockdown. The way to do this was to tie string, this also came in handy when wanting to do videos of them as we wanted to apply more movement.

We are gonna use these photos as reference to our monkeys activism and family post. These post will play focus to an interpersonal approach to these monkeys values and what they want to support. When they post about beauty relation things they will mention/reference there family and there roots - activism.

WK 11
Todays class we had one on ones and discussed where we are with our project so far and what we are gonna do till the due date!
We showed our story boards and talked through each post. We also talked about how our photographs need more angles and less photos of straight ahead and more various angle showing the scenes around them and what they are doing.
Mila and I have discussed to do 2 more photoshoots and 2 more meetings before the due date.
