Hello Darling! It’s me again 🍄
A few days ago my (smoking hot) coworker mentioned that he always knows when I’m somewhere near because he can smell my cherry perfume ( I promise it was in a sweet way - not a creepy way! He is way too lovely for that) and now I can’t get the idea out of my head that Dean likes readers cherry perfume… could you work your magic with that?
Thank youuuuuu
Luv yaaaaa
⋆.𐙚 ̊ cherry,
summary. you always smell like cherries. dean likes it. it feels like home.
pairing. dean winchester x reader genre. fluff
wordcount. 481
It starts small.
Barely a shift in the air.
One moment, Dean’s flipping through lore books with half-lidded eyes and the next, he’s straightening up like someone just whispered pie behind him.
Cherry.
It’s cherry. That warm, sweet, ripe scent that somehow blooms in the air before you even step into the room.
He doesn’t realize it’s you at first. Just figures the motel cleaning lady’s into Bath & Body Works. But then it happens again. And again. Always before you show up. Always just before your voice calls out, “Guys?”
And suddenly, it clicks. Like thunder behind his ribs.
It’s you.
You smell like cherries. You are the cherry bomb ambushing his senses every time you get close.
The next time it happens, you're walking out of the gas station with a bag of snacks in hand, flipping your hair out of your eyes. The second you slide into the passenger seat of the Impala, it hits him like a freight train.
Cherry. Sweet, punchy, soft.
“New perfume?” he asks, casual. So casual. Painfully casual.
You blink at him like it’s nothing. “Oh, this? Had it forever. I always wear it.”
Dean hums. Looks away.
Always.
He files that information away like it matters. Like it’s a goddamn clue in a case he’s working.
After that, it becomes a game he doesn’t even know he’s playing.
You lean over him to point something out in a book—cherry. You hand him his coffee—cherry. You yank off your jacket and laugh at something Sam says—cherry, again. Like clockwork. Like comfort. Like home.
Dean’s never been one for soft. His life is blood and guts and booted footsteps in the dark, but then there’s you. And your scent. And the way you make him feel like he’s not built from rust and regret.
One night, while you’re brushing your hair and humming in the motel bathroom, Sam glances at Dean over his laptop and says, without looking up:
“You know, you always smile when she walks in.”
Dean doesn’t even deny it. Just mutters, “Smells like cherries.”
Sam grins but keeps his mouth shut. Smart man.
Later, when you crawl into bed, skin warm and hair damp from the shower, Dean pretends to be asleep.
He hears you settle. Feels the bed shift. Smells you—cherry and heat and you—and he nearly groans out loud.
You sigh, soft and tired. “Night, Dean.”
He answers without thinking. “’Night, sweetheart.”
A pause.
Then: “You okay?”
Dean opens his eyes. Looks at you in the dark.
“Yeah,” he murmurs. “Just… glad you’re here.”
You smile, cheeks flushed even in the dim light. “You’re such a sap sometimes.”
He shrugs, barely visible under the blanket. “Must be the perfume.”
You toss a pillow at him.
He catches it—grinning.
Smells like cherries. Smells like you. And for once, that’s enough to make the world feel a little less cruel.

What Comes After
A sequel to the “What We Were” series—set years in the future
Pairing: Dean x You // Established relationship
Summary: You found the kind of love that doesn’t just survive—it stays. This is what comes after. This is home.
Warnings: None! Pure fluff because it’s the only way to write a sequel. 🥰
Five Years Later – The Bunker, 3:07 A.M.
The bunker is quiet. All those echoing hallways, those heavy stone walls—normally they feel cavernous at night. But lately, with your body warm and heavy from carrying new life, even the silence feels gentle. Familiar. Like home.
Your feet pad across the cool kitchen floor, one hand bracing the curve of your lower back while the other rummages through the fridge. You’re muttering under your breath, half-cursing the peanut butter jar that’s migrated behind the pickle jar again, when a deep voice cuts through the stillness.
“There she is.”
You jolt—just slightly—but then your shoulders relax. You know that voice in every lifetime. You straighten, turning toward the sound with a sleepy smile.
Dean leans in the doorway, sweatpants low on his hips, t-shirt wrinkled from sleep. His hair’s a mess. So is his heart, judging by the look on his face when his eyes drop to your belly.
“Sorry,” you say, breathless from the effort. “I was trying not to wake you.”
“‘S fine,” he murmurs, already walking toward you. “Kinda figured you’d be up. Kid was kicking like a damn ninja earlier.”
You chuckle and place a hand protectively over the bump. “She gets it from you.”
Dean slides his hands over your hips from behind, one thumb brushing under your belly as he kisses the side of your neck, slow and sweet. “She gets the attitude from you.”
You lean into his chest, letting your body rest against his warmth, your eyes fluttering closed for a moment. You feel him breathe you in—arms locked around you like he can hold the whole world together that way.
“Whatcha after?” he mumbles against your shoulder. “Pickles? Ice cream? Some unholy combination of both?”
“Peanut butter toast,” you murmur. “With banana. And maybe some honey if I can reach it without pulling a muscle.”
Dean grins, already reaching past you. “You just stand there lookin’ gorgeous and pregnant. I got this.”
You roll your eyes but let him. He grabs the bread, the peanut butter, the banana. Even the honey. Sets it all up on the counter like it’s sacred.
When he spreads the peanut butter with more care than any man ever has, you blink back a tear you weren’t expecting. Because five years ago, he was all sharp edges and scars, and now he’s soft hands and sleepy smiles at 3 a.m. And because this isn’t just love—it’s peace.
“I still can’t believe you gave up hunting,” you say softly, watching him from your spot against the counter.
He shrugs, but his jaw clenches just slightly. “Didn’t give it up. Just… changed my priorities. Sammy calls, I help. But I gotta be smart now. I come back in one piece. Every time.”
You nod. “Because of her?”
Dean glances at your belly, then meets your eyes. “Because of you. And yeah—her too.”
Your throat gets tight again, emotions bubbling too close to the surface. “I didn’t think we’d ever get here.”
He leans in, brushing a kiss over your lips—slow and lingering. “Me either. But damn, I’m glad we did.”
When he pulls back, he cups your bump with both hands and murmurs, “You hear that, sweetheart? We made it. Your mama’s a badass, and I’m the luckiest son of a bitch alive.”
You laugh through a tear. “You’re such a sap now.”
Dean smirks. “Only for you.”
Dean slides the finished toast onto a plate, sets it down like it’s a five-star meal, and hands it over with a proud little flourish. You kiss his cheek in thanks and take a bite, humming through a mouthful of peanut butter and banana.
He leans back against the counter, arms crossed, eyes fixed on you with that quiet, reverent look he only ever gets when it’s just the two of you and the world slows down. His gaze drops to your belly again, and after a moment, he steps behind you—no words, just a gentle nudge of presence.
You feel his hands come around your sides first, then one slowly slides under your belly. He lifts—just a little, just enough to take the pressure off your spine. The relief is instant and overwhelming. You exhale hard, shoulders dropping as your whole body melts into him.
“Oh my God,” you whisper, eyes fluttering shut.
Your head falls back onto his shoulder without thinking, cheek pressing against his neck.
“That good, huh?” he murmurs, the warmth of his voice rumbling through your skin.
You nod slowly, your breath finally evening out. “You have no idea.”
Dean holds you there, one strong arm anchored under your belly, the other sliding up to stroke your side. “Should’ve done this sooner,” he mutters, nuzzling behind your ear. “Coulda saved us both a lotta sleepless nights.”
“Still time,” you breathe.
“Damn right there is.”
You stay like that for a while, swaying gently, full plate forgotten on the counter, hearts beating in sync.
A few minutes later, footsteps echo down the hallway—slower, more cautious than usual. Sam appears in the doorway, hair wild, hoodie thrown over a t-shirt, rubbing his eyes.
“I knew I heard voices,” he mutters. Then he stops, blinking at the sight of the two of you—Dean wrapped around your back like a second spine, your belly cradled, head tucked against his jaw.
A slow smile spreads across Sam’s face. “You two gonna make me cry before sunrise or what?”
You laugh, untangling just enough to glance over your shoulder. “Sorry for waking you.”
“Worth it,” Sam says. He pads into the room, reaching for a coffee mug. “You look good. Both of you.”
Dean shrugs, but he’s glowing with quiet pride. “She’s the one doing all the hard work.”
“Yeah, well,” Sam pours his coffee and takes a sip. “You’re glowing like a damn housewife in a Hallmark movie, so…”
Dean flips him off, which just makes you laugh harder.
Sam grins at you. “Have you decided on a name yet?”
You and Dean glance at each other. No words, just that warm spark of a shared secret still under wraps.
“Maybe,” you say, teasing.
Sam rolls his eyes but lets it go, settling into a chair as the three of you ease into the kind of morning that doesn’t need to rush.
Just peace. Family. And the quiet promise that somehow, against every odd, this is the life you built—and no one’s taking it away.
It’s hard to believe two years have gone by.
You still remember the moment she arrived—screaming her little lungs out, squirming and red-faced, already strong. The pain of labor had been unlike anything you’d ever imagined, brutal and consuming, but Dean had been there through every second. He held your hand through every contraction, whispered steady words through every tear and cry, and kissed your temple when you told him you couldn’t do it—only to remind you gently, “You already are, sweetheart.”
And when it was over—when she was finally here—he cried with you.
You’d do it all over again, without hesitation. Every wave of pain, every exhausted breath… just to see her face for the first time again. Just to hear Dean choke out the words, “She’s perfect… she’s so perfect.”
Her name came easy.
Reina Charlie Winchester.
Your little queen. A name full of strength, love, and the memory of someone who still watches over you.
Now, two years later, that fierce little baby is a babbling, bold-hearted whirlwind who laughs with her whole body and somehow rules the bunker without even realizing it.
Today the bunker is quiet, warm, and full of the kind of stillness that only comes from a good day. You’re sitting on the floor of the war room with a blanket spread out beneath you, Reina in the center surrounded by a few favorite toys. Sam’s nearby, legs crossed, half-watching her while reading through a case file, and Dean leans in the doorway with a mug of coffee, eyes on the two of you like he still can’t believe this is his life now.
Reina babbles something unintelligible as she reaches for a stuffed moose, her chubby fingers wrapping around its ear. You smile, brushing a soft curl out of her face. “That one’s your favorite, huh?” you murmur.
Dean chuckles. “Of course she picks the moose. Kid knows family.”
Sam looks up at that, raising a brow with a crooked smile. “Or she just thinks I’m cuddlier than you.”
Dean scoffs. “Please. I’m a damn teddy bear.”
Sam smirks. “A teddy bear with a shotgun.”
You laugh under your breath, watching them with your heart full, Reina babbling away between them like she knows exactly what they’re saying.
You lean back on your hands—until Reina suddenly shifts, pushing herself upright with surprising determination. She stares ahead like she’s thinking hard, then plants her feet.
“Whoa—” you gasp, hands flying out in case she tips, but she steadies herself.
Dean straightens immediately. “Hey, hey…”
Reina takes one step. Then another.
“Oh my God,” you breathe. “Dean—!”
Sam’s eyes go wide. He’s already setting the file aside. “Is she—?”
Another step. She wobbles, arms out for balance, mouth open in concentration.
“Sweetheart, look at her!” Dean’s voice is thick with awe as he crouches low, arms out. “Come on, baby girl. Come to Daddy.”
“Reina, you’re doing it!” you say, heart thudding wildly.
And then—another step. Then a final one—right into Dean’s waiting arms. He scoops her up instantly, laughing like he can’t breathe.
“You did it! Oh my God, you walked!” he grins, spinning her around as she giggles and clutches his shirt. “You walked to me, baby girl!”
You press your hand to your heart, eyes stinging with tears. Sam’s next to you, blinking hard, shaking his head with a soft laugh.
“She’s really growing up,” he murmurs.
“She’s not even two,” you whisper back.
Sam grins, nudging your shoulder. “Still. She just took her first steps. That’s huge.”
Dean walks over, Reina still held snugly against his chest. She’s giggling, proud of herself, cheeks flushed with victory.
“She wanted to show off,” Dean says, beaming as he kisses her temple. “Knew her Uncle Sammy was here. Had to make it count.”
“She’s dramatic like her dad,” you tease gently.
Dean just winks. “And beautiful like her mama.”
Sam chuckles as you stand and wrap your arms around both of them—your whole little world in a single, glowing moment.
Reina gurgles, then babbles something that sounds suspiciously like “Dada,” and Dean nearly melts on the spot.
Sam throws a hand up. “Okay, that’s it. I’m calling dibs on her first full sentence.”
Dean smirks. “She already said her first words, Sammy. And they were perfect.”
You smile, warm and full, watching as your little girl snuggles close to her dad, her first steps already becoming the first story you’ll tell over and over again. The first of many.
And she walked right into his arms.
As the laughter settles into something softer, Reina crawls back into your lap with her moose clutched proudly in one hand. Her little fingers curl around yours, anchoring herself like you’re her whole world.
Dean slides in beside you on the couch, one arm wrapping around your waist, the other settling gently on Reina’s back. His palm spans across her tiny frame like it was made to be there, protective and tender all at once.
He leans in and kisses your temple, the scruff of his jaw brushing your skin. “We did good, sweetheart,” he murmurs, voice thick with emotion.
You glance at Sam, still sitting cross-legged on the floor, grinning like he’s witnessing a miracle. You smile back, then tilt your head toward Dean, your eyes shining.
“We really did.”
Dean’s hand finds your cheek, fingers warm and sure. You meet him halfway when he leans in—no hesitation, no nerves. Just the kind of kiss that says I’m home. I’m yours. Always.
Slow and deep, full of everything that’s been built and rebuilt between you.
When you part, your foreheads rest together for a beat, your smile pressed right into his.
And just like that, with your daughter safe in your arms and Dean’s love wrapped around you like a promise—everything is exactly as it should be.
Forever starts here.
A/N: Thank you for reading!! I hope you enjoyed this series and the sequel. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions, I’m always open to improvement. 🫶

70 Things I think about Boyfriend!Jason Todd
(f!reader)
i am so so so normal about him, I swear
1. He doesn’t bring work home
Jason has a strict no Red Hood talk in the apartment rule unless it’s absolutely necessary. You know when he’s been out rough- he limps a little, his knuckles are raw, but he’ll deflect with, “Guy at the bodega tried some shit.”
You don’t ask. He doesn’t offer. That’s the deal.
2. He’s pierced and quietly punk about it
Yeah, his ears are pierced. Probably has been since he was a teenager trying to look cool in Crime Alley. You caught him wearing your tiny silver studs one morning and when you asked about it, he grunted, “Didn’t want the holes to close.” But now? He steals them on purpose. Your favorite heart-shaped pair? Gone. He’s wearing them on patrol.
3. Jumpy as hell
You’ve learned to call his name gently if his back is to you. Sudden touches get a reaction- nothing violent, but fast. Too fast. His shoulders tense. His eyes flick to every exit like muscle memory. Sometimes he apologizes under his breath like he hates that part of himself. You just squeeze his hand and remind him he's safe here.
4. Lives on black coffee, toast, and junk unless you intervene
Left to his own devices, Jason will literally survive off diner coffee and cold toast- or worse an unholy amount of energy drinks. You started slipping protein bars and cut fruit into his bag like you were packing for a grumpy kid. He acts annoyed. He eats every bite.
5. He smells like leather, gunpowder.... and your shampoo
He started using your shampoo one day “by accident” and now he just does it on purpose. You don’t even complain because the mix of him and you is better than any perfume.
6. Stole your bracelet and won’t admit it
A dainty chain bracelet you lost months ago? It's looped around the base of one of his pistols now, dangling like a charm. When you spot it and raise an eyebrow, he just shrugs:
“Must’ve fallen into my bag.”
“You expect me to believe-”
“Guess you shouldn’t leave your stuff lying around, sweetheart.”
He’s never giving it back. That’s his lucky charm now.
7. Clings in his sleep
He’d never admit it, but he’s a stage-4 clinger. Arm around your waist, face tucked against your shoulder, legs tangled. If you get up to pee, he’ll grumble in his sleep and roll into the warm spot you left behind like a human furnace.
8. Won’t say “I need you,” but he shows it
He fixes your sink at 2 a.m. because it dripped once. He tracks your location “for safety” (but it makes him breathe easier). If you’re late texting back, he spirals internally but never shows it- just casually drops by, “coincidentally,” to check on you.
He won’t say “I need you.” But he shows it. Every damn day.
9. Sings along to old records while cleaning
You caught him once deep-cleaning his guns while singing quietly to a scratchy vinyl playing old blues rock. You didn’t say anything. Just listened. It felt like church.
10. Says “I’m not good at this” but is good at this
He thinks he’s bad at love. He thinks he’s bad at being normal. But he kisses your forehead when you’re sick, folds your laundry weird but tries, and reads the same book five times because it’s your favorite.
He’s good at love. In all the ways that matter.
11. “I love a man in leather” ruined him forever
It started as a joke- you said it with a wink, barely teasing. But Jason? He froze. Blinked. Filed it away. And then that night, lying in bed, stared at the ceiling thinking about all the tactical leather he already owned.
The next time he came home from patrol, he stood awkwardly in the doorway, helmet in hand.
“...Do you like it when I wear the jacket?”
You smirked. He blushed. And that was the beginning of the end.
12. He was pretty sure he was vanilla. He was wrong.
Jason always thought he was a “lights off, soft kisses” kind of guy. And he still is- but now there’s rope in his bedside drawer, wrist cuffs under the bed, and a vague working knowledge of Shibari. He’s not saying it’s all your fault.
But it is.
13. He only lets himself explore it with you
You’re the only one he trusts enough to see that side of him. He’s not used to feeling safe being vulnerable- even when he’s the one in control. But with you? He can breathe. He can ask. He can learn.
And when you look up at him with love and hunger in your eyes, he doesn’t feel like a monster- he feels wanted.
14. He absolutely panicked the first time he said “Good girl”
It slipped out. He didn’t plan it. He just said it in the heat of the moment and you moaned. Hard.
Jason’s brain blue-screened.
He froze for a solid three seconds and whispered, “...Did you like that?”
You nodded.
He never stopped saying it after that. Still says it like it’s sacred.
15. But outside the bedroom? He's still the shyest little freak about it
You: *teasing him at dinner with a wink*
Jason: *choking on his water and glaring at you like he’s been caught committing crimes*
You: “Baby, you literally tied me up last night.”
Jason: “Keep your voice down!”
16. Leather jacket is now permanently associated with you getting handsy
It’s your fault. Every time he wears the jacket, you get a look in your eye like you’re about to climb him like a tree.
Now he can’t put it on without a smug smirk and the quiet thought: She’s gonna pounce.
17. He’ll never go to a sex store in person, but he’s got a burner account online
Jason Todd has a burner account with expedited shipping and privacy wrapping because he’s too much of a shy little freak (to everyones suprise) to risk being seen browsing handcuffs in person.
You caught him once comparing reviews on two different floggers, reading so seriously you'd think it was a medical journal. He blushed hard when you snuck up behind him.
18. Aftercare king
No matter how dark or rough it gets, he’s the most tender man afterward. Holds you close. Kisses your shoulders. Runs you a bath and washes your hair like it’s a ritual.
“Did I go too far?”
“No, Jay. You were perfect.”
And he just melts, forehead against your shoulder, whispering: “Okay. Good.”
19. Still folds towels wrong. Still starts fake fights about it.
He'll tie you up with perfect knots but can't fold a towel for shit. You don't know how the two coexist. He’s a contradiction you’re obsessed with.
20. One time he called himself your “bad boy” and immediately cringed
He was trying to be flirty.
He meant it ironically.
He said, “You like your bad boy in leather, huh?” and then groaned halfway through it like he regretted every word.
You burst out laughing.
He kissed you to shut you up.
He's 'Bad Boy 🎀' in your phone now and he hates loves it.
21. He is so dramatic when he’s sick
This man has literally died. He’s been shot, stabbed, blown up.
But give him a head cold? And he is bedridden. Blanket burrito. Groaning like he’s on his deathbed. Whispering, “Tell Alfred I fought bravely…” before blowing his nose with your nice hand towel.
22. “I’m fine.” - a blatant lie
He’ll cough so hard he bends over double, then straighten up like nothing happened.
“You need rest-”
“I’m fine.”
“You sound like a dying engine.”
“I’ve had worse.”
Yeah. And? That doesn’t mean he should be eating cereal for dinner and refusing to take cold meds.
23. He won’t admit it but he’s needy as hell
He doesn’t ask. Not directly. But his head ends up in your lap. He “accidentally” falls asleep curled against your side. He mumbles your name mid-fever dream, eyes fluttering open and searching for you.
You bring him soup, and he blinks at you like you’ve just saved his soul.
24. Absolutely pouts if you leave the room too long
He’ll be half-asleep, but the second you get up to do anything- laundry, pee, breathe -he’ll grunt, shift dramatically, and mumble,
“…Thought you left me to die.”
You roll your eyes. “I was gone for two minutes.”
“Could’ve been the end.”
15. He’s warm. Like a human furnace
Fevers don’t just make him sick- they make him clingy and overheat-y. He’ll wrap himself around you like a weighted blanket and then get mad when you complain about sweating.
“I’m literally melting, Jason.”
“I’m dying, but go off I guess.”
26. Gets oddly philosophical when medicated
One dose of NyQuil and he’s pondering the meaning of mortality and if souls really go to heaven.
“You think if I died again, you’d still love me?”
“Jason. Baby. Please take a nap.”
27. Claims he doesn’t remember any of it once he’s better
You mention how cute he was? The way he asked for more soup with a soft “please” and big sleepy eyes?
“I don’t recall,” he says.
You show him a video? “Deep fake.”
Catches you giggling? “You’re making shit up. I’m a menace. I don’t cuddle.”
28. But secretly? He loves how you take care of him
He didn’t get this, growing up. No one ever rubbed circles on his back or checked his temperature with a kiss. He doesn’t know how to ask for it… but god, he soaks it up when you give it anyway.
It’s healing in more ways than one.
29. When you get sick later? He panics
Oh suddenly he’s a nurse. Full-time. Soup. Blankets. Calls in favors from actual doctors he knows.
“Baby, it’s just a sore throat-”
“No. No. I’ve seen this before. It starts with a sore throat. Next thing you know, you’re in a Lazarus Pit.”
30. One time he sneezed in his helmet and you never let him live it down
He didn’t take it off in time. It echoed. It was tragic.
You laughed so hard you cried.
He glared at you with the most long-suffering expression of his life and muttered,
“This is why I work alone.”
31. He warns you the first time things get serious
It’s not the mask that’s hard to take off. It’s the shirt.
The first time you're undressing each other, he pauses, hands shaking slightly as he pulls back.
“I should warn you,” he says.
And then quieter:
“It’s bad.”
32. He avoids mirrors when he’s shirtless
Not just because of the usual trauma- but because sometimes he catches his reflection and flinches. The Y-shaped autopsy scar down his chest is brutal. Surgical. Cold.
It reminds him of what he was: a body on a slab. A lost cause.
Not a man. Not a lover. Just evidence.
33. He expects you to look away
Even as he undresses, he’s already bracing for it- for the flicker in your eyes, the pity or horror or discomfort.
He stares at the wall. Waits for the silence. Waits for the shift in the way you breathe.
34. You don’t look away. Not even a little.
Your touch is reverent. Your lips follow the trail of old scars like a prayer.
“You’re beautiful,” you say.
Jason’s chest stutters, and he doesn’t believe you- not really -but he wants to.
God, he wants to.
35. He never turns the lights on during sex. Until you ask him to.
He’s okay in shadows. He’s safe in them.
But one night, you whisper, “Let me see you,” and something in him breaks open.
He lets the light touch all the places he hides.
And your hands never flinch.
36. His scars are sensitive
Especially the big ones. Sometimes they itch. Sometimes they burn.
But when your fingers trace them? It’s grounding. Calming. Makes him feel like maybe he can own this body again.
37. One time, you kissed his chest and he teared up
He didn’t mean to. It just happened.
You didn’t say anything- just held him while he breathed through it. And that silence? That softness? It meant more than any words could.
38. You bought him a new mirror one day. He stared at it for weeks before using it.
It was taller. Nicer. Framed in soft wood. When he finally stood in front of it with you, he didn’t look away.
You stood behind him, arms around his waist, and he whispered,
“…I don’t hate it as much. When you’re in the picture.”
39. He traces your body the same way now
All the places you’re soft, he worships. All the places you’ve ever been insecure- he sees none of it.
“Look at me,” he says.
“If you can love this,” he gestures to himself, “then you better let me love you.”
40. You never treat his scars like they make him broken
Because they don’t. They make him Jason. And you wouldn’t trade a single inch of him- not the roughness, not the past, not the damage.
Because under all of it, is a heart that still dares to love you back.
And that's more beautiful than anything you’ve ever seen.
41. Letting it slip about the Waynes
One day, while in the middle of an argument (as one does), Jason just blurted it out.
“Okay, fine, maybe I was adopted by the Waynes!”
You froze.
“Wait. Hold up—WHAT?”
“Yeah, yeah, I’m a Wayne. Big surprise, right? Have fun with that one.”
"...BABY, FUCK YOU MEAN YOU'RE RELATED TO BRUCE FUCKING WAYNE?!?"
Jason just stares at you, clearly unprepared for this reaction.
“I-”
“JASON. WHAT. THE. FUCK.”
42. He immediately regrets saying it
As soon as the words leave his mouth, Jason wants to claw them back. He’s not ready to unpack that- it’s a can of worms he’s been keeping sealed tight.
But then there’s you, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, looking at him like he just dropped the biggest bombshell.
“Shut up, okay? Just—just don’t bring it up ever again.”
But he knows that’s never going to happen.
43. He insists on not using any of Bruce’s money
The second he found out about the inheritance, Jason made it clear:
“I’ll never touch any of that money. It’s not mine.”
Bruce offered him more than enough, but Jason’s pride wouldn’t let him. He’d rather suffer on his own than take a single dollar from the man who, in his mind, could never truly be family.
Yet, when you need something- he can’t help but slip you a debit card once in a while, eyes narrowing as if daring you to question it.
44. Off-brand snacks and drinks, forever
You’re sitting at home one night, you reach for some chips, and Jason’s hand slaps yours away.
“No. Not those.”
He reaches into the pantry and pulls out a bag of “Chipperoni Crunchies,” not the name-brand chips, but the generic stuff. The ones that come in weird, colorful bags with cartoon characters on them.
“They taste better.”
You give him a skeptical look.
He just shrugs.
“They do.”
It’s the same with his drinks. He’ll turn his nose up at anything with a fancy label on it and will only go for store-brand cola that comes in an off-color can.
“You can’t taste the difference,” he insists, as he sips from a glass bottle, wiping the rim like he's a secret connoisseur of trash beverages.
45. He keeps a stash of “guilty pleasures” in your kitchen
No one else is allowed to see the true extent of his obsession with cheap snacks. If Alfred found out, he'd be disappointed. So he keeps it secret.
When you’re not looking, he’ll stockpile all of his guilty pleasure foods in your kitchen: neon-colored candy, microwave pizza, and prepackaged cupcakes with sprinkles that stick to your teeth in the worst way.
“Don’t tell anyone about this,” he mutters, but you both know it’s inevitable.
He’s just Jason. No amount of money or Wayne prestige can make him stop being Jason.
46. The first time you tease him about it, he’s defensive
You laugh at the ridiculously large bag of "fake Cheetos" he’s just brought over.
“Don’t laugh,” he growls. “They’re better, okay?”
“Really? The fake version of Cheetos?”
“It’s called being resourceful,” he grumbles, crossing his arms like he’s trying to defend his honor.
It’s just a bag of chips, but the Wayne pride is stronger than he likes to admit.
47. He will never be caught at a five-star restaurant
You’ve tried. You’ve dragged him to fancy places, tried to get him to “treat himself” to something nice.
Jason? Never steps foot in a place like that unless it's on business- and even then, he’s glaring at the rich patrons like they're the real criminals.
His idea of a perfect date? Fast food, a cheap diner, or just takeout from his favorite hole-in-the-wall pizza place. That’s his comfort zone.
48. If you ever bought him something fancy, he’d get weird about it
You got him a really nice leather jacket once- smooth, premium quality, sleek black.
He took one look at it and immediately said, “You didn’t need to get me this, babe. I’m good with my old stuff.”
But when you weren’t looking, he stroked the soft leather and secretly loved it.
The jacket still sat in his closet, perfectly untouched- just waiting for a moment when he’d admit that maybe he deserves nice things. But he’s not there yet. Not really.
49. He low-key loves your "bougie" (normal) snacks, but won’t admit it
You try to introduce him to your more “refined” tastes. Maybe it’s a fancy cheese, or high-end chocolate, or a real coffee drink that’s not just “instant” powder.
At first, Jason’s all about his junk food. But you catch him secretly swiping the expensive chocolate bar from the fridge.
“I hate these,” he says, but you catch the way his eyes flicker with a guilty pleasure.
“Then why do you keep eating them?”
“Shut up.”
50. He’s proud of his independence
He may hate the whole Wayne legacy, but he’s still proud of how he’s carved his own path. His tastes, his choices- even his snacks -are just another way of proving that he’s not defined by his 'family' name.
And somehow, that’s the part that makes him feel the most like himself. Not the Red Hood. Not “Wayne’s adopted son.” Just Jason Todd.
51. You call him “daddy” in front of someone- an accident to be fair
One morning, you’re in a rush to leave for work and casually call out, “Bye, daddy!” out of habit before heading out the door. You don’t even think twice about it.
But when you shut the door, you turn and see Damian sitting on the couch, looking at you like you’ve just committed the most cardinal sin.
Silence fills the room as you realize what you've done.
Jason, meanwhile, is trying not to laugh while Damian stares him down, and there's a whole "You told her to call you that?" conversation that never gets resolved. Damian just gives Jason the side-eye for the next few days.
52. The first time you meet his family- Oh boy…
When Jason finally takes you to meet his family, you almost choke at the sight of that massive, impressive mansion.
You’d been hearing about them for a while, but nothing could prepare you for the pure opulence of the place.
Jason, trying to play it cool, introduces you to his siblings. But deep down, you can see the unease in his eyes. He’s hoping his siblings don’t completely embarrass him in front of you.
Spoiler: they totally do.
53. Jason’s siblings stealing you away to tell you embarrassing stories
Once they know you’re there, his siblings (usually the most asshole-ish ones) quickly whisk you away to the kitchen or garden, telling you the most embarrassing Jason Todd fucked up stories.
One talks about the time he tried to sneak out as a kid and got stuck in a tree for an hour. Another shares the story of when he lost a bet to Damian and had to wear pink for a week and he cried.
By the end of it, you’re laughing so hard, you can’t tell if Jason’s going to explode or just sit there trying not to die of embarrassment.
54. Jason’s family finds out you’ve been living together for a year- a whole year?!
At a family dinner, you and Jason casually mention you’re planning on moving apartments soon.
That’s when his siblings drop the bombshell.
“Wait, you’ve been living together for a year and never told us?”
Jason looks at them like he’s been caught in a mildly embarrassing situation. “What’s the big deal? It’s not like I owe you a rundown of my life.”
His family is way too interested now, and Jason tries to play it cool, but you both know it’s one of those awkward moments that will haunt him for years to come.
55. Jason’s protective side when it comes to his family and you
If his siblings start messing with you too much or saying anything too embarrassing, Jason’s response is instant.
“Knock it off. You wanna deal with me?”
He doesn’t threaten them, but the way he says it? Yeah, they take a step back.
And when it’s just the two of you later, he’s like, “If they ever make you uncomfortable, I swear, I’ll-”
You reassure him, but you appreciate how seriously he takes your comfort with his family.
56. Jason buys you a ridiculously expensive gift, but it’s low-key, and you’re both uncomfortable
One night, Jason comes home and hands you this insanely expensive necklace with a diamond 'J' charm—way out of your usual price range.
"What's this?" you ask, giving him a confused look.
“Just... because,” he says, scratching his head awkwardly. “I saw it and thought you’d look good wearing it.”
You’re immediately touched, but you can tell Jason’s acting a little weird about it. It's one of those moments where he wants to spoil you, but his pride gets in the way.
57. Jason finds it way too easy to spoil you now though
At first, he fought it. He thought, “Nah, I’m not the type to just throw money around.”
But now? Oh, now it’s second nature.
If you even hint at something you want, Jason’s on it like white on rice.
He knows the moment you mentioned a new phone, you’re gonna find it waiting for you at home. Because Jason was already ahead of the game.
58. His family doesn’t understand his quiet obsession with you
At some point, his siblings ask him directly, “So... when are you gonna admit you’re in love with her?”
Jason almost chokes on his drink. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
But everyone knows. His family can see how he softens around you, how he’d do anything to make sure you’re comfortable and happy.
And Jason’s so not used to this, so he just acts all defensive about it, even though his family’s already figured it out.
59. Jason doesn’t actually talk about his family that much
It’s not that he’s embarrassed. It’s just that Jason doesn’t want you to see him through the lens of his family’s wealth and drama.
Sometimes he lets little things slip, but mostly, he keeps his family life under wraps.
He doesn’t need you to like them. He just wants you to like him, and to him, that’s what matters most.
60. Jason’s family low-key approves of you
Despite all the chaos, his family starts to realize that you’re a good match for Jason. You challenge him, make him laugh, and somehow manage to keep him grounded when his ego gets out of hand.
At the end of the day, they know he’s better with you.
That doesn’t stop them from occasionally teasing him, of course, but they can see what he sees in you.
61. Jason panics to pick the perfect ring
Jason spends days- days -agonizing over the perfect ring. It’s not that he doesn’t know what you’d like, it’s just that this is a huge decision. He doesn’t want to screw it up. So, of course, he recruits his sister for help, who takes you out on a ‘girls day’ to get your nails done and do some shopping. You have no idea why, but Jason’s silently breathing a sigh of relief the whole time as she helps pick out a ring that he’s sure will make you say yes.
62. Jason cries while talking to his brothers
Jason never thought he’d be talking about marriage to anyone- let alone his brothers. But here he is, pacing back and forth in front of them, confessing that he’s about to propose. And he's... crying. Not because he's weak, but because he's terrified. “I’m actually doing this,” he whispers, shaking his head. “I’m about to propose to the woman I love. Holy shit, I’m actually doing it.”
His brothers? They’re all smiles and a little bit of laughter, making fun of him, but deep down, they know this is a big step for him, and they support him.
63. Jason gets on one knee, and you don’t say anything
When he finally proposes, it’s simple. In the park where you had your first date. Jason goes down on one knee, holding the ring out in front of you, but you’re so quiet that for a second, he thinks you’re going to say no. Panic sets in, and then you start sobbing, whispering over and over, “Yes, yes, yes.”
Jason’s heart nearly explodes, and he kisses you right there, the world disappearing around you both.
64. Hes... a dad?
A few months after the proposal, you show him the ultrasound picture, and Jason freezes, his eyes tracing the dates. He counts back, and a realization hits him like a ton of bricks. “Oh fuck,” he mutters to himself, panic rising. “That was the night we-”
It takes him a minute, but he’s almost certain. That was the night you conceived. It’s terrifying, yet beautiful, but he’s more scared than he’s ever been. He wants to be a dad, but can he actually do it?
65. Jason moves the wedding date up
Jason may not be traditional, but once he found out about the baby, he made a decision. The wedding date was moving up. He wasn’t going to have his daughter born to parents who weren’t married, and damn it, he wasn’t waiting any longer. He wants to make sure that little girl has the kind of family he never had growing up.
66. The wedding is simple but perfect
The wedding is small and simple, just how Jason wanted it. His brothers are both his best men, and they give him so much shit about it, but Jason wouldn’t have it any other way. You agree to let his sister be your maid of honor, and though there are a few moments of tension, everything falls perfectly into place. Jason, in his suit, looks at you like you’re the only thing that matters. You both say your vows, and there’s no turning back now.
67. Jason holds his newborn and sobs
When you give birth to his daughter, he holds her in his arms for the first time, and Jason just breaks. He’s never been so overwhelmed in his life. It’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen, and when he presses her tiny body against his chest, he cries. Big, ugly, full of love tears. "I’m gonna protect you with everything I’ve got," he whispers. "I promise."
68. The Wayne family spoils her rotten
It’s not surprising that Jason’s daughter gets spoiled by the entire Wayne family. Every time they visit, she gets showered with gifts, new clothes, toys she doesn’t even know what to do with. Jason watches it all with a soft smile, knowing how much this little girl is going to be loved and protected. They can spoil her as much as they want, because she’s his little princess.
69. Jason being the ultimate girl dad
It’s her fourth birthday, and Jason’s letting his daughter paint his face with play makeup, sitting there patiently as she dabs the brush all over his face. It’s the kind of moment that makes Jason feel like the luckiest man alive. He’s so in love with her. No matter how messy or goofy things get, he wouldn’t change a thing. She’s his little girl, and he’ll cherish every second.
70. Jason Todd has never been happier
As chaotic and sometimes overwhelming as his life has been, nothing compares to this moment. Sitting on the couch with his daughter on his lap, his arms around you, Jason can’t help but think that this? This is happiness. The love he never knew he needed has found him, and for the first time in a long time, he feels like everything is right. He’s a husband, a father, and for the first time in his life...
He feels at home.
And that leather jacket you got him years ago? He's finally wearing it.
RAHHHHHHHH I AM SO NORMAL ABOUT HIM

baby, i want some of your love
aka how you healed him
———
jason todd wears glasses now.
jason never really took care of himself after dying. his body was so hopelessly out of rhythm, everything slightly wrong and out of place. his bones creak underneath his skin, his muscles, which had nearly rotted and decayed, could never quite figure out how to relax. sometimes he’d forget to breathe, or blink, the actions no longer involuntary, and before you? he didn’t have it in himself to care. his health had fallen to the least of his worries.
but you were always so worried about him. you noticed things about himself he hadn’t even realized, how he winced when he chewed with the left side of his mouth, how he squinted at street signs whenever you went on walks, how his muscles were always tense until you massaged them into relaxation. you pointed them out, pouting whenever he’d shrug it off. to him, it was nothing, he was used to the pain, the inconvenience; he didn’t consider his own wellbeing important enough to pay any mind to.
to you, it was torture. watching the man you loved so dearly treat himself with so little care had you ruined. all you wanted for him was happiness and safety, for him to have what he had given you so freely, what he guarded himself from so intensely. he didn’t realize how much you cared until he noticed how much you finally pushed him to treat himself better.
“i scheduled you a dentist appointment.” you said, matter-of-factly setting down a few documents in front of him begging his patient history. he looked up to you, eyebrow raised, entirely confused. you answered his question before he could even think to ask it. “you wince when you chew.”
he wouldn’t say no to you. despite his disdain regarding the idea of a check up, he went. you came with him, fiercly speaking a language of medicine he didn’t understand. when he left the dentist, you gave him a lollipop. “i’m not five.” he ate it anyways, savoring the taste between strawberry-stained lips as you drove him home.
he stopped noticing when you made him appointments to get shots, or when you subtly slipped the card of a dermatologist behind the picture of you he kept in his wallet. he started actually caring about what he did to his body— gut health and all that. yes, he was jacked, his body had been built like a machine ever since it had patched itself back together in the lazarus pit, but he couldn’t remember the last time he ate a piece of fruit.
he didn’t realize how much better he felt until dick pointed it out for him. “you got glasses?” he asked, pointing to the thick black frames that sat on the bridge of his nose.
he nodded. he does wear glasses. he has silver caps on two of his teeth. he has a nice layer of body fat covering his muscles because he eats three well-balanced meals a day. he has a standing appointment with a chiropractor every other wednesday at two, and another with a therapist on mondays at one. he gets a checkup every six months and goes to the dentist every four, he’s been to the dermatologist three times in two years, he has all of his shots up to date, he takes vitamins in the morning and he sleeps at least five hours every night.
he cares about himself. he puts effort into making sure he stays healthy— and at first it was for you. only for you, to ease your constant worry about him. but now it’s second nature, your guiding hand has healed him, made him want to stay alive and healthy and whole, not for just you, but for himself.
the moment the realization washes over him of just how much you’ve given him, he rushes home and tells you in no less than a thousand ways just how grateful he is to have your love.

🍓 Nicknames 🍓
Summary: The story of you and Dean's relationship, told through nicknames.
Warnings: Mentions of sex but not quite smut
~~~
🍓 Sweetheart -
The first time Dean met you, that's what he'd called you. It felt like butter, a smooth luxury, dripping off his lips.
You parents had briefly known John, so when the Winchesters shuffled into town, you were their first point of safety.
Dean had walked in one day, his younger brother in tow, all swagger and confidence. He'd watched as you hopped off the counter, offering him a mug of coffee, trying to resist the temptation to let his eyes drop down your body. He was trying to be respectful, as respectful as he could be.
"Sure, I'll take some, sweetheart."
Your breath had hitched in your throat as he spoke, the name sending ripples through you.
You'd spent the rest of the day barely speaking. Sam had taken the lead with whatever hunt the two men were working on, so that just left you and the older Winchester listening. The whole time you'd caught small glances at each other, missed eye contact, the occasional brush of fingers when handing him another cup of coffee.
Only the next day had you realized Dean calls every girl he meets sweetheart.
🍓 Kid -
You hated the nickname. You were barely any younger than Sam, but Dean still insisted on calling you it.
The first time you'd gone on a hunt together, you'd come prepared. Dean was cautious at first, but by the time you'd shown them your skills with a knife, he had no choice but to let you swing along.
This wasn't your first hunt, not by a long shot, with your own parents training you to keep your wills about you long before the Winchesters came into your life.
You'd beheaded the vampire before Dean had even seen it coming at you, wiping your face with the back of your hand ready for the next one.
"Nice work, kid." Dean had said to you, the nickname hitting you like a ton of bricks.
Of course, he was the only one who could make you feel like a child even when you were able to wield a knife better than anyone he'd ever seen.
You'd raised it to Sam later in the day, asking if he'd ever used the nickname on him.
"Kid? No but he's called me worse. Why does it bother you so much?"
"It's patronising, it's like he doesn't see me as capable."
"Oh he sees you as capable alright." Sam chuckled to himself, "He's been on at me for weeks about bringing you along on a hunt."
You were taken aback, "No, no he said he didn't want me coming?"
"That's news to me, honestly I think he's just trying to mess with your head."
🍓 Darling -
Dean hadn't called you sweetheart in months, the kid nickname firmly sticking. No matter what you'd done, that's what he'd called you, keeping his distance. Even his glances had slowed, you no longer caught him looking at you in the rearview, no longer brushed fingers with him over coffee.
A month after you'd moved into the bunker, you and Dean were up late together, both hunched over books, the early hours beginning to break on a long night.
That's when it had hit you, and you went running off looking for a book you'd remembered reading once before, only returning once you'd found the page you were after. You'd placed the book on the table, Dean leaning over you, your bodies practically touching.
"It's a Musca. That's what that glue they keep finding is all about."
"Well damn, I think you just about cracked the case, darling."
As soon as he'd said it he knew he couldn't undo it, the word hanging in the air above you both. He'd waited for a moment, his body pressed against yours, heat emanating off of him. He wet his lips as he allowed himself to take another look at you, from this angle he towered over you, clearly being able to see down your shirt, looking at the contours of your chest covered in a thin bra.
Then he'd coughed back to reality, leaning past you to pick up the book and stepping back again.
"Right, I guess I'll give Sam a call then, thanks kid."
🍓 Gorgeous-
You'd come stumbling back in after a heavy night of drinking, you and Sam only just able to keep Dean's limp body supported between the two of you. You were able to drag him to the room and lay him on his bed before Sam had run off, needing to vomit the beers back up.
Deans eyes has opened tentatively, smiling as he saw your face.
"You come t' take care of me?" He slurred out, reaching out to touch your hand. "I'm sick."
"No, Dean, go to sleep, you're just drunk." You wanted to pull away, go back to your own room, wait for your inevitable hangover, but you let him hold your hand as he closed his eyes again, feeling your warmth. He pulled you into him closer, and you found yourself sat on the bed next to him.
"Don't go-" Dean murmured into your side, breathing gently.
"I'm not going Dean, I'm right here." You let your thumb rub against the skin of his hand, trying to comfort him.
"Don't go, gorgeous." He drifted into a drunken sleep.
🍓 Baby -
He never mentioned the gorgeous incident to you, and you were so drunk you barely even remembered it yourself. All you knew is that for the next few weeks he seemed cagey.
He didn't speak to you much, keeping to himself wherever possible. But you still caught him looking, more blatantly than he ever had before. When you were reaching up to a high shelf in the kitchen, there he was taking a glance at your exposed midriff. When you'd lean over to pull the duffle bag off the floor, he'd be behind you taking a look at your ass. Even on long drives you'd find his eyes trailing down your legs, a small smile revealing itself at the corner of his lips.
But then something shifted. Sam was the first one to notice it.
The three of you were just finishing up a hunt, the stifling motel room in the rearview as Dean drove, his cassettes the soundtrack to your freedom.
"I'm glad to be outta there." Dean had said, turning up the music.
"Me too, can we all agree that we need two rooms whenever we next get a motel." You'd wound down the window, letting the cool air hit you.
"'Course, baby." Dean leant his hand out, brushing your knee only slightly as a sign of agreement.
There was a beat in the car as you all watched his hand retract, unable to work out what had just happened. The music played on, the crappy speakers sounding a million miles away.
"Did- did you just call her baby?" Sam pitched up from the back seat. You wanted the air to swallow you, awkwardness overwhelming you. If this had just been you and Dean you'd have ignored it, blinked and pretended it had never happened. But Sam had seen, and he wasn't going to let it go.
Dean coughed, clearing his throat as he worked through what he was trying to say next. "I call the car baby, Sam, it's not a big deal."
🍓 Princess -
The nickname had hung in the air between you for three days. Three long days of thinking about his fingers brushing against your knee, of how the words had fallen out of his mouth so easily. Three silent days of you and Dean ignoring each other, no tentative glances, no secret looks.
On the third day Dean had come to you with a proposal.
He'd knocked on your bedroom door late at night, quietly enough that if you were sleeping he could pretend he hadn't even tried. But you weren't sleeping. Right as he had made up his mind to walk away you opened it, surprised to see him on the other side.
You invited him in, making small talk as you got him to sit on your bed. That's when he'd told you his idea.
"Sex. Pure, no strings attached, sex."
That's how you'd found yourself up against the wall, his hands on your waist, his mouth against your jaw, leaving heavy kisses. He'd pulled your shirt up, taking a step back to admire you.
"You're fucking gorgeous."
He came back to your room every night that week, both of you acting like it would be the last time but knowing it wouldn't be. He let his mouth explore every part of you, taking pleasure in making you moan his name.
"Louder for me, princess, let me hear you."
🍓 Y/N -
'Just sex' turned out to be harder than expected, his lingering looks at you complicating the days, the cuddling after complicating the nights.
You didn't mention it to each other during daylight, it was your own secret you kept even from yourselves. But each night he'd be there, and you'd let him in, both of you needy for more.
Then you were back in a motel on a hunt with Sam, and you knew it had to stop. Nowhere to go in such close quarters. Nowhere to spill your secrets.
You could tell he was pent up, spending every day watching you and not being able to do anything about it. You were too, but tried not to let it show.
And then you were in the middle of a hunt, and Dean was the furthest thing from your mind, your training kicking in, your only thoughts on the task at hand. The demon seemed to come out of nowhere, shoving you hard as your head hit the wall, knocking you down. The air thinned, your mind going dark as you heard the commotion in the other room, and then Dean was there. And he was holding your head. And he was shouting to Sam for help, looking at you with desperate eyes.
The next day he had sat on your bed in the motel, handing you a glass of water. Your fingers had brushed against each other, and memories of the first time you'd met had filled your mind.
"Y/N." He'd said. He never called you by your name, you could tell he was trying to work up the courage to say something important. "I can't stand the idea of loosing you. I can't even stand the idea of not being around you. This thing we've got going on- it's good don't get me wrong- it's fucking incredible in fact- it's just... I want more. I want you, all of you. Completely and all the time."
🍓 Honey -
You walked into the bunker, pushing another six-pack in the fridge for later. Deans strong arms came up behind you, enveloping you in a firm hug, his face burrowed in the crook of your neck, soft kisses across your skin trailing along the line of hickeys from the night before. He lifted you off the ground slightly for a moment, and you laughed loudly, swatting his arm to put you back down.
Sam looked up from the table and rolled his eyes; it was a familiar sight he was now used to, though it had taken some months to become accustomed to it.
Dean did as you said, putting your feet firmly back on the floor and spinning you around to face him. He kissed your forehead, a grin across his face as you motioned for him to kiss your lips instead.
"I love you." You'd said as he kissed you, the words falling out of your mouth as they had a hundred times by now.
"I love you too, honey."
jason never really took care of himself after dying. his body was so hopelessly out of rhythm, everything slightly wrong and out of place. his bones creak underneath his skin, his muscles, which had nearly rotted and decayed, could never quite figure out how to relax. sometimes he’d forget to breathe, or blink, the actions no longer involuntary, and before you? he didn’t have it in himself to care. his health had fallen to the least of his worries.
but you were always so worried about him. you noticed things about himself he hadn’t even realized, how he winced when he chewed with the left side of his mouth, how he squinted at street signs whenever you went on walks, how his muscles were always tense until you massaged them into relaxation. you pointed them out, pouting whenever he’d shrug it off. to him, it was nothing, he was used to the pain, the inconvenience; he didn’t consider his own wellbeing important enough to pay any mind to.
70 Things I think about Boyfriend!Jason Todd
(f!reader)
i am so so so normal about him, I swear
1. He doesn’t bring work home
Jason has a strict no Red Hood talk in the apartment rule unless it’s absolutely necessary. You know when he’s been out rough- he limps a little, his knuckles are raw, but he’ll deflect with, “Guy at the bodega tried some shit.”
You don’t ask. He doesn’t offer. That’s the deal.
2. He’s pierced and quietly punk about it
Yeah, his ears are pierced. Probably has been since he was a teenager trying to look cool in Crime Alley. You caught him wearing your tiny silver studs one morning and when you asked about it, he grunted, “Didn’t want the holes to close.” But now? He steals them on purpose. Your favorite heart-shaped pair? Gone. He’s wearing them on patrol.
3. Jumpy as hell
You’ve learned to call his name gently if his back is to you. Sudden touches get a reaction- nothing violent, but fast. Too fast. His shoulders tense. His eyes flick to every exit like muscle memory. Sometimes he apologizes under his breath like he hates that part of himself. You just squeeze his hand and remind him he's safe here.
4. Lives on black coffee, toast, and junk unless you intervene
Left to his own devices, Jason will literally survive off diner coffee and cold toast- or worse an unholy amount of energy drinks. You started slipping protein bars and cut fruit into his bag like you were packing for a grumpy kid. He acts annoyed. He eats every bite.
5. He smells like leather, gunpowder.... and your shampoo
He started using your shampoo one day “by accident” and now he just does it on purpose. You don’t even complain because the mix of him and you is better than any perfume.
6. Stole your bracelet and won’t admit it
A dainty chain bracelet you lost months ago? It's looped around the base of one of his pistols now, dangling like a charm. When you spot it and raise an eyebrow, he just shrugs:
“Must’ve fallen into my bag.”
“You expect me to believe-”
“Guess you shouldn’t leave your stuff lying around, sweetheart.”
He’s never giving it back. That’s his lucky charm now.
7. Clings in his sleep
He’d never admit it, but he’s a stage-4 clinger. Arm around your waist, face tucked against your shoulder, legs tangled. If you get up to pee, he’ll grumble in his sleep and roll into the warm spot you left behind like a human furnace.
8. Won’t say “I need you,” but he shows it
He fixes your sink at 2 a.m. because it dripped once. He tracks your location “for safety” (but it makes him breathe easier). If you’re late texting back, he spirals internally but never shows it- just casually drops by, “coincidentally,” to check on you.
He won’t say “I need you.” But he shows it. Every damn day.
9. Sings along to old records while cleaning
You caught him once deep-cleaning his guns while singing quietly to a scratchy vinyl playing old blues rock. You didn’t say anything. Just listened. It felt like church.
10. Says “I’m not good at this” but is good at this
He thinks he’s bad at love. He thinks he’s bad at being normal. But he kisses your forehead when you’re sick, folds your laundry weird but tries, and reads the same book five times because it’s your favorite.
He’s good at love. In all the ways that matter.
11. “I love a man in leather” ruined him forever
It started as a joke- you said it with a wink, barely teasing. But Jason? He froze. Blinked. Filed it away. And then that night, lying in bed, stared at the ceiling thinking about all the tactical leather he already owned.
The next time he came home from patrol, he stood awkwardly in the doorway, helmet in hand.
“...Do you like it when I wear the jacket?”
You smirked. He blushed. And that was the beginning of the end.
12. He was pretty sure he was vanilla. He was wrong.
Jason always thought he was a “lights off, soft kisses” kind of guy. And he still is- but now there’s rope in his bedside drawer, wrist cuffs under the bed, and a vague working knowledge of Shibari. He’s not saying it’s all your fault.
But it is.
13. He only lets himself explore it with you
You’re the only one he trusts enough to see that side of him. He’s not used to feeling safe being vulnerable- even when he’s the one in control. But with you? He can breathe. He can ask. He can learn.
And when you look up at him with love and hunger in your eyes, he doesn’t feel like a monster- he feels wanted.
14. He absolutely panicked the first time he said “Good girl”
It slipped out. He didn’t plan it. He just said it in the heat of the moment and you moaned. Hard.
Jason’s brain blue-screened.
He froze for a solid three seconds and whispered, “...Did you like that?”
You nodded.
He never stopped saying it after that. Still says it like it’s sacred.
15. But outside the bedroom? He's still the shyest little freak about it
You: *teasing him at dinner with a wink*
Jason: *choking on his water and glaring at you like he’s been caught committing crimes*
You: “Baby, you literally tied me up last night.”
Jason: “Keep your voice down!”
16. Leather jacket is now permanently associated with you getting handsy
It’s your fault. Every time he wears the jacket, you get a look in your eye like you’re about to climb him like a tree.
Now he can’t put it on without a smug smirk and the quiet thought: She’s gonna pounce.
17. He’ll never go to a sex store in person, but he’s got a burner account online
Jason Todd has a burner account with expedited shipping and privacy wrapping because he’s too much of a shy little freak (to everyones suprise) to risk being seen browsing handcuffs in person.
You caught him once comparing reviews on two different floggers, reading so seriously you'd think it was a medical journal. He blushed hard when you snuck up behind him.
18. Aftercare king
No matter how dark or rough it gets, he’s the most tender man afterward. Holds you close. Kisses your shoulders. Runs you a bath and washes your hair like it’s a ritual.
“Did I go too far?”
“No, Jay. You were perfect.”
And he just melts, forehead against your shoulder, whispering: “Okay. Good.”
19. Still folds towels wrong. Still starts fake fights about it.
He'll tie you up with perfect knots but can't fold a towel for shit. You don't know how the two coexist. He’s a contradiction you’re obsessed with.
20. One time he called himself your “bad boy” and immediately cringed
He was trying to be flirty.
He meant it ironically.
He said, “You like your bad boy in leather, huh?” and then groaned halfway through it like he regretted every word.
You burst out laughing.
He kissed you to shut you up.
He's 'Bad Boy 🎀' in your phone now and he hates loves it.
21. He is so dramatic when he’s sick
This man has literally died. He’s been shot, stabbed, blown up.
But give him a head cold? And he is bedridden. Blanket burrito. Groaning like he’s on his deathbed. Whispering, “Tell Alfred… I fought bravely…” before blowing his nose with your nice hand towel.
22. “I’m fine.” - a blatant lie
He’ll cough so hard he bends over double, then straighten up like nothing happened.
“You need rest-”
“I’m fine.”
“You sound like a dying engine.”
“I’ve had worse.”
Yeah. And? That doesn’t mean he should be eating cereal for dinner and refusing to take cold meds.
23. He won’t admit it but he’s needy as hell
He doesn’t ask. Not directly. But his head ends up in your lap. He “accidentally” falls asleep curled against your side. He mumbles your name mid-fever dream, eyes fluttering open and searching for you.
You bring him soup, and he blinks at you like you’ve just saved his soul.
24. Absolutely pouts if you leave the room too long
He’ll be half-asleep, but the second you get up to do anything- laundry, pee, breathe -he’ll grunt, shift dramatically, and mumble,
“…Thought you left me to die.”
You roll your eyes. “I was gone for two minutes.”
“Could’ve been the end.”
15. He’s warm. Like a human furnace
Fevers don’t just make him sick- they make him clingy and overheat-y. He’ll wrap himself around you like a weighted blanket and then get mad when you complain about sweating.
“I’m literally melting, Jason.”
“I’m dying, but go off I guess.”
26. Gets oddly philosophical when medicated
One dose of NyQuil and he’s pondering the meaning of mortality and if souls really go to heaven.
“You think if I died again, you’d still love me?”
“Jason. Baby. Please take a nap.”
27. Claims he doesn’t remember any of it once he’s better
You mention how cute he was? The way he asked for more soup with a soft “please” and big sleepy eyes?
“I don’t recall,” he says.
You show him a video? “Deep fake.”
Catches you giggling? “You’re making shit up. I’m a menace. I don’t cuddle.”
28. But secretly? He loves how you take care of him
He didn’t get this, growing up. No one ever rubbed circles on his back or checked his temperature with a kiss. He doesn’t know how to ask for it… but god, he soaks it up when you give it anyway.
It’s healing in more ways than one.
29. When you get sick later? He panics
Oh suddenly he’s a nurse. Full-time. Soup. Blankets. Calls in favors from actual doctors he knows.
“Baby, it’s just a sore throat-”
“No. No. I’ve seen this before. It starts with a sore throat. Next thing you know, you’re in a Lazarus Pit.”
30. One time he sneezed in his helmet and you never let him live it down
He didn’t take it off in time. It echoed. It was tragic.
You laughed so hard you cried.
He glared at you with the most long-suffering expression of his life and muttered,
“This is why I work alone.”
31. He warns you the first time things get serious
It’s not the mask that’s hard to take off. It’s the shirt.
The first time you're undressing each other, he pauses, hands shaking slightly as he pulls back.
“I should warn you,” he says.
And then quieter:
“It’s bad.”
32. He avoids mirrors when he’s shirtless
Not just because of the usual trauma- but because sometimes he catches his reflection and flinches. The Y-shaped autopsy scar down his chest is brutal. Surgical. Cold.
It reminds him of what he was: a body on a slab. A lost cause.
Not a man. Not a lover. Just evidence.
33. He expects you to look away
Even as he undresses, he’s already bracing for it- for the flicker in your eyes, the pity or horror or discomfort.
He stares at the wall. Waits for the silence. Waits for the shift in the way you breathe.
34. You don’t look away. Not even a little.
Your touch is reverent. Your lips follow the trail of old scars like a prayer.
“You’re beautiful,” you say.
Jason’s chest stutters, and he doesn’t believe you- not really -but he wants to.
God, he wants to.
35. He never turns the lights on during sex. Until you ask him to.
He’s okay in shadows. He’s safe in them.
But one night, you whisper, “Let me see you,” and something in him breaks open.
He lets the light touch all the places he hides.
And your hands never flinch.
36. His scars are sensitive
Especially the big ones. Sometimes they itch. Sometimes they burn.
But when your fingers trace them? It’s grounding. Calming. Makes him feel like maybe he can own this body again.
37. One time, you kissed his chest and he teared up
He didn’t mean to. It just happened.
You didn’t say anything- just held him while he breathed through it. And that silence? That softness? It meant more than any words could.
38. You bought him a new mirror one day. He stared at it for weeks before using it.
It was taller. Nicer. Framed in soft wood. When he finally stood in front of it with you, he didn’t look away.
You stood behind him, arms around his waist, and he whispered,
“…I don’t hate it as much. When you’re in the picture.”
39. He traces your body the same way now
All the places you’re soft, he worships. All the places you’ve ever been insecure- he sees none of it.
“Look at me,” he says.
“If you can love this,” he gestures to himself, “then you better let me love you.”
40. You never treat his scars like they make him broken
Because they don’t. They make him Jason. And you wouldn’t trade a single inch of him- not the roughness, not the past, not the damage.
Because under all of it, is a heart that still dares to love you back.
And that's more beautiful than anything you’ve ever seen.
41. Letting it slip about the Waynes
One day, while in the middle of an argument (as one does), Jason just blurted it out.
“Okay, fine, maybe I was adopted by the Waynes!”
You froze.
“Wait. Hold up—WHAT?”
“Yeah, yeah, I’m a Wayne. Big surprise, right? Have fun with that one.”
"...BABY, FUCK YOU MEAN YOU'RE RELATED TO BRUCE FUCKING WAYNE?!?"
Jason just stares at you, clearly unprepared for this reaction.
“I-”
“JASON. WHAT. THE. FUCK.”
42. He immediately regrets saying it
As soon as the words leave his mouth, Jason wants to claw them back. He’s not ready to unpack that- it’s a can of worms he’s been keeping sealed tight.
But then there’s you, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, looking at him like he just dropped the biggest bombshell.
“Shut up, okay? Just—just don’t bring it up ever again.”
But he knows that’s never going to happen.
43. He insists on not using any of Bruce’s money
The second he found out about the inheritance, Jason made it clear:
“I’ll never touch any of that money. It’s not mine.”
Bruce offered him more than enough, but Jason’s pride wouldn’t let him. He’d rather suffer on his own than take a single dollar from the man who, in his mind, could never truly be family.
Yet, when you need something- he can’t help but slip you a debit card once in a while, eyes narrowing as if daring you to question it.
44. Off-brand snacks and drinks, forever
You’re sitting at home one night, you reach for some chips, and Jason’s hand slaps yours away.
“No. Not those.”
He reaches into the pantry and pulls out a bag of “Chipperoni Crunchies,” not the name-brand chips, but the generic stuff. The ones that come in weird, colorful bags with cartoon characters on them.
“They taste better.”
You give him a skeptical look.
He just shrugs.
“They do.”
It’s the same with his drinks. He’ll turn his nose up at anything with a fancy label on it and will only go for store-brand cola that comes in an off-color can.
“You can’t taste the difference,” he insists, as he sips from a glass bottle, wiping the rim like he's a secret connoisseur of trash beverages.
45. He keeps a stash of “guilty pleasures” in your kitchen
No one else is allowed to see the true extent of his obsession with cheap snacks. If Alfred found out, he'd be disappointed. So he keeps it secret.
When you’re not looking, he’ll stockpile all of his guilty pleasure foods in your kitchen: neon-colored candy, microwave pizza, and prepackaged cupcakes with sprinkles that stick to your teeth in the worst way.
“Don’t tell anyone about this,” he mutters, but you both know it’s inevitable.
He’s just Jason. No amount of money or Wayne prestige can make him stop being Jason.
46. The first time you tease him about it, he’s defensive
You laugh at the ridiculously large bag of "fake Cheetos" he’s just brought over.
“Don’t laugh,” he growls. “They’re better, okay?”
“Really? The fake version of Cheetos?”
“It’s called being resourceful,” he grumbles, crossing his arms like he’s trying to defend his honor.
It’s just a bag of chips, but the Wayne pride is stronger than he likes to admit.
47. He will never be caught at a five-star restaurant
You’ve tried. You’ve dragged him to fancy places, tried to get him to “treat himself” to something nice.
Jason? Never steps foot in a place like that unless it's on business- and even then, he’s glaring at the rich patrons like they're the real criminals.
His idea of a perfect date? Fast food, a cheap diner, or just takeout from his favorite hole-in-the-wall pizza place. That’s his comfort zone.
48. If you ever bought him something fancy, he’d get weird about it
You got him a really nice leather jacket once- smooth, premium quality, sleek black.
He took one look at it and immediately said, “You didn’t need to get me this, babe. I’m good with my old stuff.”
But when you weren’t looking, he stroked the soft leather and secretly loved it.
The jacket still sat in his closet, perfectly untouched- just waiting for a moment when he’d admit that maybe he deserves nice things. But he’s not there yet. Not really.
49. He low-key loves your "bougie" (normal) snacks, but won’t admit it
You try to introduce him to your more “refined” tastes. Maybe it’s a fancy cheese, or high-end chocolate, or a real coffee drink that’s not just “instant” powder.
At first, Jason’s all about his junk food. But you catch him secretly swiping the expensive chocolate bar from the fridge.
“I hate these,” he says, but you catch the way his eyes flicker with a guilty pleasure.
“Then why do you keep eating them?”
“Shut up.”
50. He’s proud of his independence
He may hate the whole Wayne legacy, but he’s still proud of how he’s carved his own path. His tastes, his choices- even his snacks -are just another way of proving that he’s not defined by his 'family' name.
And somehow, that’s the part that makes him feel the most like himself. Not the Red Hood. Not “Wayne’s adopted son.” Just Jason Todd.
51. You call him “daddy” in front of someone- an accident to be fair
One morning, you’re in a rush to leave for work and casually call out, “Bye, daddy!” out of habit before heading out the door. You don’t even think twice about it.
But when you shut the door, you turn and see Damian sitting on the couch, looking at you like you’ve just committed the most cardinal sin.
Silence fills the room as you realize what you've done.
Jason, meanwhile, is trying not to laugh while Damian stares him down, and there's a whole "You told her to call you that?" conversation that never gets resolved. Damian just gives Jason the side-eye for the next few days.
52. The first time you meet his family- Oh boy…
When Jason finally takes you to meet his family, you almost choke at the sight of that massive, impressive mansion.
You’d been hearing about them for a while, but nothing could prepare you for the pure opulence of the place.
Jason, trying to play it cool, introduces you to his siblings. But deep down, you can see the unease in his eyes. He’s hoping his siblings don’t completely embarrass him in front of you.
Spoiler: they totally do.
53. Jason’s siblings stealing you away to tell you embarrassing stories
Once they know you’re there, his siblings (usually the most asshole-ish ones) quickly whisk you away to the kitchen or garden, telling you the most embarrassing Jason Todd fucked up stories.
One talks about the time he tried to sneak out as a kid and got stuck in a tree for an hour. Another shares the story of when he lost a bet to Damian and had to wear pink for a week and he cried.
By the end of it, you’re laughing so hard, you can’t tell if Jason’s going to explode or just sit there trying not to die of embarrassment.
54. Jason’s family finds out you’ve been living together for a year- a whole year?!
At a family dinner, you and Jason casually mention you’re planning on moving apartments soon.
That’s when his siblings drop the bombshell.
“Wait, you’ve been living together for a year and never told us?”
Jason looks at them like he’s been caught in a mildly embarrassing situation. “What’s the big deal? It’s not like I owe you a rundown of my life.”
His family is way too interested now, and Jason tries to play it cool, but you both know it’s one of those awkward moments that will haunt him for years to come.
55. Jason’s protective side when it comes to his family and you
If his siblings start messing with you too much or saying anything too embarrassing, Jason’s response is instant.
“Knock it off. You wanna deal with me?”
He doesn’t threaten them, but the way he says it? Yeah, they take a step back.
And when it’s just the two of you later, he’s like, “If they ever make you uncomfortable, I swear, I’ll-”
You reassure him, but you appreciate how seriously he takes your comfort with his family.
56. Jason buys you a ridiculously expensive gift, but it’s low-key, and you’re both uncomfortable
One night, Jason comes home and hands you this insanely expensive necklace with a diamond 'J' charm—way out of your usual price range.
"What's this?" you ask, giving him a confused look.
“Just... because,” he says, scratching his head awkwardly. “I saw it and thought you’d look good wearing it.”
You’re immediately touched, but you can tell Jason’s acting a little weird about it. It's one of those moments where he wants to spoil you, but his pride gets in the way.
57. Jason finds it way too easy to spoil you now though
At first, he fought it. He thought, “Nah, I’m not the type to just throw money around.”
But now? Oh, now it’s second nature.
If you even hint at something you want, Jason’s on it like white on rice.
He knows the moment you mentioned a new phone, you’re gonna find it waiting for you at home. Because Jason was already ahead of the game.
58. His family doesn’t understand his quiet obsession with you
At some point, his siblings ask him directly, “So... when are you gonna admit you’re in love with her?”
Jason almost chokes on his drink. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
But everyone knows. His family can see how he softens around you, how he’d do anything to make sure you’re comfortable and happy.
And Jason’s so not used to this, so he just acts all defensive about it, even though his family’s already figured it out.
59. Jason doesn’t actually talk about his family that much
It’s not that he’s embarrassed. It’s just that Jason doesn’t want you to see him through the lens of his family’s wealth and drama.
Sometimes he lets little things slip, but mostly, he keeps his family life under wraps.
He doesn’t need you to like them. He just wants you to like him, and to him, that’s what matters most.
60. Jason’s family low-key approves of you
Despite all the chaos, his family starts to realize that you’re a good match for Jason. You challenge him, make him laugh, and somehow manage to keep him grounded when his ego gets out of hand.
At the end of the day, they know he’s better with you.
That doesn’t stop them from occasionally teasing him, of course, but they can see what he sees in you.
61. Jason panics to pick the perfect ring
Jason spends days- days -agonizing over the perfect ring. It’s not that he doesn’t know what you’d like, it’s just that this is a huge decision. He doesn’t want to screw it up. So, of course, he recruits his sister for help, who takes you out on a ‘girls day’ to get your nails done and do some shopping. You have no idea why, but Jason’s silently breathing a sigh of relief the whole time as she helps pick out a ring that he’s sure will make you say yes.
62. Jason cries while talking to his brothers
Jason never thought he’d be talking about marriage to anyone- let alone his brothers. But here he is, pacing back and forth in front of them, confessing that he’s about to propose. And he's... crying. Not because he's weak, but because he's terrified. “I’m actually doing this,” he whispers, shaking his head. “I’m about to propose to the woman I love. Holy shit, I’m actually doing it.”
His brothers? They’re all smiles and a little bit of laughter, making fun of him, but deep down, they know this is a big step for him, and they support him.
63. Jason gets on one knee, and you don’t say anything
When he finally proposes, it’s simple. In the park where you had your first date. Jason goes down on one knee, holding the ring out in front of you, but you’re so quiet that for a second, he thinks you’re going to say no. Panic sets in, and then you start sobbing, whispering over and over, “Yes, yes, yes.”
Jason’s heart nearly explodes, and he kisses you right there, the world disappearing around you both.
64. Hes... a dad?
A few months after the proposal, you show him the ultrasound picture, and Jason freezes, his eyes tracing the dates. He counts back, and a realization hits him like a ton of bricks. “Oh fuck,” he mutters to himself, panic rising. “That was the night we-”
It takes him a minute, but he’s almost certain. That was the night you conceived. It’s terrifying, yet beautiful, but he’s more scared than he’s ever been. He wants to be a dad, but can he actually do it?
65. Jason moves the wedding date up
Jason may not be traditional, but once he found out about the baby, he made a decision. The wedding date was moving up. He wasn’t going to have his daughter born to parents who weren’t married, and damn it, he wasn’t waiting any longer. He wants to make sure that little girl has the kind of family he never had growing up.
66. The wedding is simple but perfect
The wedding is small and simple, just how Jason wanted it. His brothers are both his best men, and they give him so much shit about it, but Jason wouldn’t have it any other way. You agree to let his sister be your maid of honor, and though there are a few moments of tension, everything falls perfectly into place. Jason, in his suit, looks at you like you’re the only thing that matters. You both say your vows, and there’s no turning back now.
67. Jason holds his newborn and sobs
When you give birth to his daughter, he holds her in his arms for the first time, and Jason just breaks. He’s never been so overwhelmed in his life. It’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen, and when he presses her tiny body against his chest, he cries. Big, ugly, full of love tears. "I’m gonna protect you with everything I’ve got," he whispers. "I promise."
68. The Wayne family spoils her rotten
It’s not surprising that Jason’s daughter gets spoiled by the entire Wayne family. Every time they visit, she gets showered with gifts, new clothes, toys she doesn’t even know what to do with. Jason watches it all with a soft smile, knowing how much this little girl is going to be loved and protected. They can spoil her as much as they want, because she’s his little princess.
69. Jason being the ultimate girl dad
It’s her fourth birthday, and Jason’s letting his daughter paint his face with play makeup, sitting there patiently as she dabs the brush all over his face. It’s the kind of moment that makes Jason feel like the luckiest man alive. He’s so in love with her. No matter how messy or goofy things get, he wouldn’t change a thing. She’s his little girl, and he’ll cherish every second.
70. Jason Todd has never been happier
As chaotic and sometimes overwhelming as his life has been, nothing compares to this moment. Sitting on the couch with his daughter on his lap, his arms around you, Jason can’t help but think that this? This is happiness. The love he never knew he needed has found him, and for the first time in a long time, he feels like everything is right. He’s a husband, a father, and for the first time in his life...
He feels at home.
And that leather jacket you got him years ago? He's finally wearing it.
RAHHHHHHHH I AM SO NORMAL ABOUT HIM
THINK I NEED SOMEONE OLDER
older!dean x fem!reader cw age gap, nsfw below cut (mdni), size kink (+ implied choking kink?), bunker era (think s9-10, so dean is 34-36 ish and reader is early to mid 20s), a little angsty in one or two places
notes my final assignment of first year is due in 12 hours. i wrote this instead. also i don’t usually write smut so if it’s shit dhmu
older!dean was hesitant to do anything with you at first. there’s thirteen years between you, and he’d always said it was too much, that he was too old for you. eventually, after months of teasing and flirting and god knows how many repetitions of “i know what i want, dean,” he’d grabbed your face and kissed you hard.
older!dean treats you like glass that he could break at any second. he’s gentle — gentler than he ever was with any other girl. he kisses your forehead, always has a gentle hand on you, and generally takes care of you. he cooks for you, wraps blankets around you when you fall asleep researching, and acts like the definition of a gentleman (to sam’s utter delight — the new material he’s gained to tease his brother with is endless).
older!dean shares his music with you. you call him old for it, and he makes a suggestive comment about you benefitting from his experience. he makes you a tape of songs he loves and catches you playing it in your room on more than one occasion. the two of you bond massively over music, with him showing you the rock he grew up with and you showing him newer stuff, like paramore. he’ll never admit that he thinks hayley williams is awesome, but you know.
older!dean hates taking you out on hunts. you met through hunting, and you’re a damn good hunter yourself (his words), but that will never stop him worrying. he’s protective, almost overwhelmingly so, on hunts, and you’ve had more than one biting argument about how he needs to let up. he promises he will some day, but you still see his eyes on you constantly. he needs to make sure you’re there, to make sure you’re safe.
older!dean loves to tease you with pet names to see how flustered he can make you. there are some he uses that are nice, and make you feel nice and warm inside, like angel and sweetheart. (darlin’ with his texan twang, always gets you blushing.) he tries to call you baby, but you veto it, stating the age difference as a reason. he tries to tease you, occasionally calling you kid and kiddo until you stop calling him honey and start only referring to him as old man.
older!dean absolutely loses it when you get hurt. you go on a hunt with sam, despite your boyfriend’s protests at getting left behind, and when sam calls as a heads up that you’re injured, he’s an anxious mess until you reach the bunker. you walk through the door bruised and a little bloodied, and he’s all over you. he doesn’t leave you alone, even after you’ve been cleaned up and ordered to rest by sam. he’s constantly touching you, either holding your hand or rubbing comforting circles on your hip. even when you heal he’s hesitant to let you out of his sight again, stating in the middle of a dark night while he holds you close that he can’t lose you.
things with older!dean start out soft and pretty vanilla, as he doesn’t want to push you or hurt you. he’s so caring and gentle with you, making sure you enjoy yourself and holding you close and making sure you finish first.
when older!dean finds out you’re just as freaky as he is, it’s over for you. he’s relentless, testing new things with you almost every night. youre sure you’ve tried every position by now, but dean’s favourite is a tossup between missionary, where he can watch your face as he all but pounds into you, and cowgirl, where he can watch as you tire yourself out on top of him (being able to see your tits bounce is also a bonus).
older!dean loves it when you suck him off but let’s be honest: he’s a huge munch. he’s eaten you out in more places than you can count, including (probably) every surface in the bunker, the backseat and driver’s seat of the impala, countless motel rooms and even a few diner restrooms.
older!dean has trouble letting you take control sometimes. he feels a little strange, given the age gap between you, but when you do get chance? he loves it. being completely under your control, letting you do whatever you want? it’s like a dream come true for him. but, despite how many times you start on top, it always ends with him snapping his hips up into you or flipping you over and finishing what you started.
older!dean loves it when he gets to see just how much bigger he is than you. when he can hold your waist and his hand seems to just dwarf you, or when he has you in his lap and his hands cover your hips completely. he especially loves watching as he takes you, and when his large hand wraps around your throat with just enough pressure for you to feel it.
regardless of how vanilla or how insane the sex is, older!dean never misses a second of aftercare. he’s always right there, with either a warm bath or a damp cloth depending on how tired you are. he’ll massage your thighs after they’re spent from riding him or comb out the tangles he made in your hair, whispering sweet nothings to you and holding you like you’re fragile because, to him, you are. even when he’s let you take the reins, he holds you close as you drift off to sleep, pressing gentle kisses on your face and tracing his hand down your back.
jason todd x reader
older bf! jason todd is the biggest munch idc. this man hasn’t had pussy in so long, so the moment he gets a taste of yours he gets drunk. his eyes roll back from your taste, as he grips onto your inner thighs, pulling you even closer as he drenched your pussy, watching your arousal mix with his saliva. he doesn’t stop, doesn’t matter how many times you came, or pulled his hair he doesn’t want to stop. he inhales the scent, taking in the moment as if he was a caveman. he would give your pussy the upmost attention, his fingers knuckles deep as he lazily rubbed your clit, licking a fat stripe along your glistening cunt. it gets addicted to the point where you would wake up in the middle of the night with his head in between your thighs, devouring you. sometimes when your stressed he begs you to let him eat it out, “please baby? i’ll make you feel so good.” sometimes he would eat you out through your panties, the thin material turning transparent within a few seconds, giving him a clear outline of your pussy. when he’s done he would stay in that position, admiring your glossy cunt as your arousal coats his lips and chin with a sheer sheen of shine.
JASON TODD notices them every morning when he steps out of the shower, steam fogging the mirror, water running in slow rivulets down his chest. his scars catch the light—some thick and jagged, others thin and pale—but his eyes aren’t drawn to those.
they’re drawn to the bite marks you’ve left.
pink crescents formed from a row of tiny half-moons scattered on his shoulder, biceps, below his collarbone, ghosts of your teeth. he touches one absentmindedly, thumb tracing over the tender mark.
you bite him a lot.
at first, he thought it was a joke. some weird, affection-adjacent habit you’d eventually drop. but you never did. if anything, it got worse—little warning nips when he teases you. slow, lingering ones when you’re curled up next to him, pressing your mouth to his skin, sucking til his skin turns a shade darker.
he should probably tell you to quit it.
but he never does.
he likes them, he realises.
likes that he can see them every morning. likes that you put them there. likes that even when you’re not with him, he can still feel you.
beau arlen x innocent!reader.
warnings! mdni! smut. pillow riding. beau watching the reader. mutual masturbation. guided masturbation. age gap. fingering. fem!reader. innocent!reader. softdom!beau. slight corruption (not in the bad way tho). most likely grammar mistakes.
word count! 1.8k
dating the sheriff was definitely… exciting.
beau was older than you by A LOT, but it wasn’t one of your main concerns. he treated you right. he loved you to the moon and back…
and he was just so fucking hot.
the first time you saw him, your panties literally experienced their first flood.
sure, you had a few boyfriends, but it was never– that. his piercing emerald eyes, his broad shoulders, his handsome features and the way he carried himself. you were in awe and so much frustration, trying to figure out what was happening to you.
so when somehow you did end up dating him? yeah, it only got worse.
you had your own waterfall whenever your eyes landed on him. whether it was him trying to fix his truck with his sleeves rolled up, him manspreading and leaning back in his chair whenever you came to visit him in his office, or every time he was putting on his hat — you were a mess.
and the fact that you never had sex before only made it worse.
a few boyfriends? it never went past the phase of innocent kisses and holding hands shyly as if you were both carrying some kind of disease. growing up in a sheltered house definitely didn’t help. church every sunday, no boys allowed in the house after dinner, curfew and absolutely NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE!! it was one of the main rules in your home, and it stressed you out to the point where you weren’t even thinking about trying to at least pleasure yourself — you were scared that it’d be some kind of sin and your soul would be dragged to hell.
you were a good christian girl.
but that changed as soon as you started dating beau.
date someone your age, they said. nahh, you were in for the good ol’ cowboy with that strong drawl and a few silver streaks in his hair.
however, you couldn’t help but be scared. you literally knew nothing, and he already had so much experience. it was actually kind of intimidating for you. you were scared that maybe you wouldn’t be able to satisfy him enough or you’d do something wrong. that’s why you’ve been trying to avoid any intimacy at all cost.
and beau didn’t notice at first. he wasn’t with you for your body or physical pleasure. he was with you because you made his heart beat faster and charmed him with your cute little smile on your pinky lips with those sparkly eyes.
however, he did notice it at one point. well, more like he assumed it from the beginning. he knew you were innocent and that you’ve never really tried anything– you couldn’t keep anything from him even if you wanted to. also, you wanted to make sure he knew what he was in from the beginning. and fuck, was he going to hell for trying to make you lose some of that innocence. but he just wanted what was best for you– and that was helping ease some of your frustrations cause you were clearly a walking time bomb.
but how did he figure it out though?
well, after coming back from one of your dates, beau was driving you back to his place, his hand draped over your bare thigh because of how high your lavender sundress rolled up, giving it light squeezes from time to time. however, he decided to get more daring and slowly made his way up with his fingers. you didn’t seem to notice, too caught up reading something on your phone. but then, you widened your eyes and looked at beau, who had the same expression on his face as you. why? his fingers brushed against a damp spot on your panties.
it made his heartbeat falter, and he blinked a few times. so you did get excited around him. that’s why, as soon as you got to his place, he practically crashed his lips on yours, slamming your back against the wall and gripping your thighs tightly, lifting you and making you wrap your legs around him. he groaned and rubbed his already rock hard erection against your clothed core, making you gasp into the kiss.
fuck, that was getting serious.
“beau, i—“ you broke the kiss and looked at him with wide eyes like a deer caught in headlights. and just by that, he knew you were scared.
“i know, baby. i know,” he reassured, stroking your cheek with his knuckles, a soft smile on his lips. “we don’t have to do anything you don’t feel ready for, y’know?”
“but i want to. i just don’t want to do… that serious stuff yet,” you whispered and looked around as if someone would hear. beau chuckled lowly, then moved a strand of hair out of your face and cupped your cheek.
“then what do you want to do, darlin’? i’m all–“ but then he cut himself off and smirked as he got an idea. “you know what, actually, i know what we’ll do.”
with that, he carried you to his bedroom. he put you gently on his bed and gave you one of his pillows. you looked at him dumbfounded, tilting your head back, a faint pout on your plush lips that just made his cock strain against his jeans even more. fuck, he just wanted to know how it would feel if you were to su— not now, beau.
“we’ll try something new, ‘kay? something easy so you don’t freak out. do you trust me, baby?” he asked, stroking your hair. you nodded, looking at him like he was your everything, which made his heart warm up with even more love for you. he smiled and kissed your forehead. “good girl. now, get on that pillow and show me what a skilled little rider you are,” he patted your ass and then moved away from the bed, sitting down on an armchair nearby.
and once again, you were dumbfounded. “huh?” you asked, watching him manspread, his hand draped over his thigh and the massive bulge in his pants.
damn, you got even wetter.
this sight itself was enough to make you start moving your hips. slowly, you moved back and forth, trying to ease some of that feeling that pooled in your lower abdomen. and beau, seeing that, smiled widely, palming his crotch with his right hand, biting on the left one as it was formed in a fist.
“yeah. keep goin’. just like that, baby,” he praised, adjusting himself.
your mouth was practically watering because of that. you picked up your pace, grinding more fiercely against the pillow, enjoying the way your pussy was gliding on it, the fabric of your dampened panties only adding to the delicious friction.
soon, small gasps and pants started coming out of you. you moaned quietly and closed your eyes, your head tilting back. however, you were quickly reprimanded by beau and his stern voice.
“nuh-uh. eyes on me, baby. i want to see your pretty face when you ride that pillow,” he almost growled, the ache in his pants making him feral.
immediately, you obeyed, his dominance adding to your arousal. quickly, you tilted your head and looked at him. but when it was harder to keep up with your movements, you decided to shift. so you moved, and now, you were facing him while grinding your heat against his pillow.
beau groaned and palmed his dick harder. however, when that didn’t work, he huffed and unbuckled his belt. then, he unzipped his pants and lowered them down with his boxers, his massive cock freed from the refrains. you widened your eyes even more, letting out a whimper that made his erection twitch.
you bit your lower lip and observed him intensely as he stroked himself a few times, spreading the leaking precum and then pumping his cock to match the pace of your grinding.
“yeah. grind that little pussy on my pillow. imagine my face laying there after tonight, getting a good whiff of how desperate you were for someone to teach you how to pleasure yourself. i bet you’re gonna be humping your pillows more often now, am i right, baby? like a little puppy in heat,” he chuckled, licking his lips. then he spat on his hand and moved it back to his huge cock, pumping it even more aggressively.
“now, move your hand down, baby,” he instructed, watching as you obeyed his every word. “yeah, just like that. good girl. you’re so good f’me, baby, do y’know that?”
you whimpered, again.
“you make such pretty little sounds. jesus christ,” he panted and squeezed his dick harder. “now, move your hand under your panties— just like that, and rub your clit,” you were mindlessly listening to every word he was saying. as soon as your fingers landed on your swollen bud, slipping beneath the soaked fabric, and applying just a tiny bit of pleasure, your body jolted up and you gasped loudly.
beau grinned and increased the pace at which his hand was moving. “you’re doing so well. i’m so proud of you, baby. move your fingers faster.”
at this point, you weren’t grinding the pillow, but your hand as your fingers moved aggressively over your engorged clit. you were panting more frantically, your eyes wide and glazed from the pleasure.
and the sight of beau coming, only made it worse. his cum shot up on his shirt and hand, making him grunt lowly. he eased himself from his climax, seeing that you were struggling to get some relief. so he decided to take matters into his own hands.
he got up and kneeled on the bed, basically yanking you on your back. he tore your panties off and replaced your fingers with his, his calloused thumb rubbing your clit with experience. and then, you moaned loudly, arching into his hand as he snuck his fingers between your slick folds, propping your entrance. you almost screamed when he put his finger inside you, rubbing your velvety walls.
“fuck, you’re so soaked,” he groaned, feeling his cock get hard again. “yer gonna cum? f’me?” he asked with a smirk, adding a second finger.
and that was enough to make you come hard for the first time in your life. you moaned loudly, pressing your heat to his rough hand as your juices flooded his calloused palm. he kept whispering praises, helping you ride out your pleasure until you were spent, trying to catch your breath with the fucked out expression on your face.
beau smiled and moved his fingers out of you, making you whine in protest at how empty it suddenly felt. he licked his fingers clean and hummed in contentment.
“delicious. however, next time, you’re riding me.”
and to seal the deal, he grabbed his hat from the edge of the bed and with a playful smile, he dropped it on your head.
a/n: sooo yeah, my first smut ever💀 y’all better lmk what you think cause i have no idea if it’s good or not
parings: married!deanwinchester x married!reader
synopsis: hunting w your husband and his brother
warnings: no smut
the smell of melted butter and sugar hung heavy in the air, the oven kicking out waves of heat that made the kitchen toasty in the early morning chill. you stood at the counter, hair messy and still slightly damp from your shower, rolling dough between your hands into perfect little spheres. chocolate chips poked out here and there, their glossy, dark surfaces promising a burst of sweetness when they finally hit the road.
behind you, the sound of boots scuffing against hardwood meant sam was up, his towering shadow cutting across the warm light spilling from the kitchen window.
“you’re baking… cookies?” sam asked, his voice tinged with that distinct tone of incredulous disbelief he always got when you and dean did something domestic. “at six in the morning? before a hunt?”
you didn’t even turn around, biting back a grin as you placed another dough ball on the baking sheet. “good morning to you too, sam.”
dean’s voice cut through before sam could respond, a low, gravelly drawl that somehow managed to sound teasing even when he was half-asleep. “yeah, sammy. cookies. you got a problem with cookies?”
dean strolled into the kitchen behind his brother, barefoot and shirtless, his jeans slung low on his hips and his hair sticking up in every direction. he scratched lazily at his chest as he made his way toward you, leaning down to press a kiss to the curve of your neck. the warm scrape of his stubble sent a little shiver dancing down your spine, and you couldn’t help the way your lips twitched into a smile.
“morning, sweetheart,” he murmured, his lips brushing against your skin.
“morning,” you replied softly, nudging him with your elbow as he reached for the raw dough on the baking sheet. “don’t even think about it.”
dean groaned dramatically, his hand retreating but not before he snagged a stray chocolate chip from the counter and popped it into his mouth. “what? you’re gonna bake cookies and not let me taste test?”
“you can taste test when they’re done,” you said firmly, wagging the wooden spoon in your hand at him like a teacher scolding a naughty student. “now go get dressed. we’ve got a long drive ahead.”
dean didn’t move, though. instead, he leaned against the counter beside you, arms crossed over his bare chest, and gave you a look—a look that said he had no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. his green eyes sparkled with that signature winchester mischief, his smirk cocky and playful as he nodded toward the cookies.
“you’re making cookies for the hunt?” he asked, clearly amused but not the least bit judgmental.
“and packing lunch,” you added, tilting your head toward the cooler on the floor by the fridge. “peanut butter sandwiches, chips, apples, the works.”
sam’s eyebrows shot up, his gaze bouncing between you and the cooler like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “you’re… packing lunch? for a hunt? like we’re going on a field trip or something?”
dean’s laugh was a low rumble in his chest, and he clapped a hand on sam’s shoulder. “that’s my wife,” he said, his voice full of pride as he gave you a wink. “she keeps us fed so we don’t have to live off gas station burritos and crappy diner coffee.”
sam rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath about how he was perfectly fine with diner coffee, but he didn’t argue further. he knew better than to question your methods when it came to taking care of dean—and by extension, him.
the impala hummed beneath you as dean drove, one hand on the wheel and the other casually resting on your thigh. the cooler sat snugly in the backseat beside sam, who had already polished off one of the peanut butter sandwiches you’d packed despite his earlier skepticism.
“i still can’t believe you brought cookies,” sam muttered, his mouth full of crumbs as he reached for another one.
“yeah, and look who’s eating them,” you shot back, twisting in your seat to give him a pointed look. “you’re welcome, by the way.”
dean chuckled, squeezing your thigh gently as he glanced over at you. “see, this is why i married you. cookies and sandwiches. you’re a damn saint, sweetheart.”
“is that the only reason?” you teased, arching a brow at him.
“oh, there’s plenty of reasons,” he said, flashing you that cocky grin that never failed to make your heart skip a beat. “but the cookies definitely sealed the deal.”
“you’re ridiculous,” you said, laughing as you leaned into his shoulder, the familiar scent of leather and aftershave wrapping around you like a second skin.
“you love me,” he replied without missing a beat, his thumb tracing lazy circles against your leg.
and he was right. you did.
the hunt itself was nothing special—a small town, a restless spirit, a salt-and-burn. but the memory of that morning, of dean stealing cookie dough when he thought you weren’t looking and sam begrudgingly admitting that the sandwiches were “actually pretty good,” stayed with you long after the ghost was gone.
because for all the danger, all the chaos, and all the nights spent wondering if you’d make it back in one piece, it was mornings like that—messy, loud, and full of warmth—that made it all worth it. it was about the little moments, the stolen smiles, the way dean’s hand never left yours when the job was done.
and yeah, maybe it was also about the cookies.
imagine trying to keep up with clark 🤯 (18+)
clark kent is an undeniably gentle lover—clumsy at times, almost bashful, his movements hesitant in a way that’s endearing. sometimes, he looks to you for reassurance, those soft blue eyes pleading, asking if he’s making you feel good.
and he always does.
he knows your body so well it’s almost frustrating. his hands, his mouth, the way his voice drops just slightly when he whispers your name—it’s enough to leave you trembling every time.
he always tells you that you do. “perfect,” he murmurs against your skin, his breath warm and uneven as he buries his face in the crook of your neck. his voice is wrecked, raw in a way that makes you believe him—for a moment.
but there are things you’ve started to notice.
like the way he lingers for just a second too long, his lips brushing your temple as if hesitating to pull away or draw you closer. or how his hands tremble slightly when they release you, the strength behind them still careful, too careful. then, there are the moments he waits for you to fall asleep—the soft creak of the mattress, the shuffle of his feet as he slips out of bed, barely disturbing the air.
it’s always the same. the quiet click of the bathroom door, the faint rush of water as he turns on the shower.
you know what he’s doing in there.
and it eats at you, imagining him under the stream of hot water, head tilted back, his chest heaving as he works through the need that still claws at him. need that you weren’t able to fully satisfy.
once, you caught him. half-asleep and bleary-eyed, you stirred when the bed dipped, his weight returning as if nothing had happened. his skin was still damp, his hair darker and curling against his forehead.
but you want to be the one to help him blow off that steam.
“just blowing off some extra steam,” he said softly, leaning down to kiss your forehead.
no, you need to be the one.
you want him completely undone—panting, his chest heaving, red staining his cheeks while he’s too wrecked to say anything but your name. you want him shaking with pleasure, the same way he leaves you, winded and unable to think of anything else.
you want him gasping, moaning louder, his voice breaking apart as he tries to keep himself together. you want to see spit pooling at the corners of his lips, his body shuddering uncontrollably. you want him to blow load after load—on you, with you, inside you—until neither of you can take any more.
you just have to make sure you don’t turn the tables on yourself.
“you got another one for me, hun?” clark pleads, his voice soft but ragged.
his curls stick to his forehead, damp with sweat, and his face is flushed deeper than you’ve ever seen. his big hands hold your hips gently, fingers twitching as if he’s trying to resist gripping you tighter.
you’re blubbering, incoherent, your eyes unfocused as your nails scrape at his shoulders. it’s ridiculous trying to leave marks on steel skin, but the feeling of him, the weight of him, makes it impossible to stay still.
you’ve finally managed to corner him. after weeks, nearly a month of easing him into the idea that you could keep up with him, he let you try. and now he’s showing you a side of himself you’ve never seen before.
his body trembles against yours, his movements are frantic, urgent, a stark contrast to the measured pace he usually sets. your legs ache as you struggle to keep up, your body pliant and exhausted, while he bucks up against you, doing most of the work after you had given up on riding him.
he moves you easily, up and down his cock, his strength apparent even in his restraint. his head falls back against the headboard, blue eyes locked on yours, his glasses long discarded.
in all honesty, you don’t know if you have another one in you. you’d lost count three orgasms ago. you must’ve been delusional thinking you could keep up with clark kent, a man who is finally breaking a sweat, his broken moans and soft whimpers starting to turn into ones you’ve never heard from him before. even after cumming countless times, making a mess of your sheets, he still wants more, asks for it, begs for it—he needs more, he can take more, wants to give you more.
the slow drag of his cock, sliding in and out of you, has you mewling, tears staining your cheeks as the pleasure mounts again. his grip is firm but careful, guiding you, ensuring you can take everything he’s giving.
he makes you feel so good. your body trembling in his hands, every nerve alight and melting under his touch. you’ve become putty for him to mould.
it’s a little embarrassing, honestly—that he’s got you like this. you were supposed to be the one pleasing him, breaking him down, undoing him. not the other way around.
but he seems perfectly satisfied with the way things are right now.
you’re fully collapsed onto him now, your strength all but gone. his hips jerk upwards, his movements frantic and desperate, breath puffing hot air against your ear.
“can you… can you look at me?” he pleads, his voice cracking as his hands shift from your hips to cradle your face, tilting your head so you’re staring into his glassy, almost desperate eyes. “look at me while you come—it’ll make me come, too. please.”
you mean to whine, his touch burning against your skin, but the sound catches in your throat when you see him.
he looks utterly wrecked.
his eyes are clouded, unfocused, his lips slick and parted, his brow furrowed with something between pain and pure desire. you imagine you look much the same—spit glistening on your chin, cheeks flushed and tear-streaked, wetness trailing down your thighs.
he holds your gaze for a moment, his thumb brushing your lower lip before slipping into your mouth.
then, both of you move at once—you surge forward to kiss him, capturing those perfect, pink lips, your movements slow and languid while he remains restless. he adjusts to your pace, pulling you impossibly closer.
his blue eyes roll back as he thrusts into you again. one hand traces lines up your spine while his lips devour yours, leaving you trembling and teetering on the edge within minutes.
his kisses turn softer, trailing to your cheek, his teeth catching on your skin as he nips gently. “i’m not hurting you, am i?” he murmurs, his voice trembling. “i know it’s sensitive, baby. tell me if it’s too much, okay? i can stop if—”
“no, please,” you whimper, terrified he might actually stop. “it’s so good.”
you’re drunk with desire, clenching tightly around him.
“you feel so good, baby. so fucking good. you’re taking me so well.” his next thrust is sharp, deep, dragging a cry from your lips as he stills, buried to the hilt. “you’re gonna make me come again,” he groans, his voice breaking.
“fuck, please—”
“i want you to come for me again,” he interrupts, his desperation bleeding through. “you’re so tight and hot when you do. i need it again—please, baby, one more for me. can you give me one more?”
“i—yeah,” you nod, trembling, your body already vibrating on the verge of release.
he hardly gives you a moment to recover before he’s crooning, “one more, just one more, please, please, please—”
clark kent is completely undone.
Jason Todd who hates his birthday but makes an exception for you, allowing you to spoil him. (Projecting my own hatred of my birthday)
Jason Todd: Who has despised his birthday ever since coming back to life because he watched his family skip it and never wanted to acknowledge re 'rebirth' so to speak.
Jason Todd: Who doesn't even tell you his birthday, aside from mentioning the month by accident when you started asking his zodiac while reading the paper one day.
Jason Todd: Who is confused as hell when you wake him up one morning with extra gentle kisses all over his face, neck, and shoulders, wishing him a happy birthday and asks you how you found out, which you conveniently ignore answering.
Jason Todd: Who is instantly tense, assuming you'll force him to celebrate it somehow the way his family had started trying to do ever since (Semi)reconciling with them, making him uncomfortable in some suit or pushing him to do stupid activities like blow out candles which would just remind him of the fire.
Jason Todd: Who is still on edge as you start a shower for him, but slowly lets his guard down a little bit when he sees you pull your shirt off to join him in it, washing his hair for him, scratching his scalp with your nails until he's audibly groaning in content while you kiss his shoulder blades.
Jason Todd: Who sits at the table, watching you cook while refusing to let him lift a finger as you make him waffles, the 'traditional birthday breakfast' you would have every year, throwing whipped cream and sprinkles on it for good measure.
Jason Todd: Who you let go about most of his day as usual, not wanting to push it too far, but once he's back from work, all bets are off.
Jason Todd: Who comes home to you, with a birthday cupcake instead of cake, as to not overwhelm him, lit with a single candle instead of several.
Jason Todd: Who opens his gift and thinks he falls even more in love with you when he sees a leather bound edition of Moby Dick that must have cost you a small fortune, all to see the look on his face he unwrapped it in front of you.
Jason Todd: Who thought his birthday was finally over when the two of you went to bed, but got surprised with one more box, far lighter than the last and opened it to find a set of red lingerie you'd picked out specifically for his birthday.
Jason Todd: Who spent half an hour running his hands over the lace once you had it on and another two hours letting you take the lead, being on top, kissing every inch of his skin, praising him, looking at him with such adoration he thought it could kill him.
Jason Todd: Who laid down beside you utterly exhausted, embracing you tightly, nearly suffocating himself in the crook of your neck, the warmth and softness of your skin making him sleepy after such strenuous activity.
Jason Todd: Who fell asleep next to you, one year older, thinking, for the first time in a long time, that maybe birthdays weren't so bad.
