Mais, I think I’m over IB and even though Rikara are my second fav Tellywood pairing ever I don’t think I’ll be going back to it. Haven’t watched any episode for at least 2 weeks now and have definitely reduced how many updates I look for now. However, I just saw the numbers for last week and they’ve gone down from 1.9 to 1.5 and I shouldn’t be happy bcs at the end of the day quite a few people’s livelihood’s are connected to this but honestly the storyline and partiality deserves it.

I ain’t no saint and have never claimed to be one. These numbers…bwahahahah!! My twitter TL was FULLL of RiKara fans bajaoing Flower Khan and her team by congratulating them for the numbers. LOOOL! First reported numbers were 1.6 then Salil posted the official one which were 1.5 and the celebration started again. Oh, how I hope this show crashes and burns.

Here’s a thing. Yes, SO many people’s livelihood do depend on the show but the fact is..WE don’t owe them anything. We are consumers and we have the right to stop investing our money or attention into a product which doesn’t satisfy us. It isn’t our duty to keep on investing our precious time, energy, and MONEY into the show thinking, “Oh but crew-people are working so hard!” Our interest lies in the story and the characters. Heck, we shouldn’t even be thinking about the actors much because at the end of the day, those guys get paid their due. They do their job and get money for it. What about us? There is a huge chunk of audience which has subscribed to Hotstar premium and the other which watches the show on TV, both of these things cost them money. These people get their due by getting 20 minutes of entertainment. Which, frankly, the show hasn’t been delivering lately. So yeah…screw everyone attached with the show. It is THEIR JOB to make sure people stick around by giving them something to look forward to everyday. And yeah, i DO count the actors in it as well. IB isn’t doing it so why feel sorry for ditching this trashcan? Acha hai! Celebrate your freedom!! Invest your time and money into something which is actually worth the preciousness of both these things. IB just isn’t that.
