Nijiiro Karute Valentine's Spin-off

Nijiiro Karute ~ Dairantou Valentine hen ~

The story is set on Valentine's Day. Saku and Taiyou are fidgeting in the morning, hoping that they will receive chocolate from Masora, but Masora seems clueless and proceeds to head out for the day. With the two left behind, the situation expectedly turned unfavorable when they started to make fun of each other. Taiyou furiously dashes out of the clinic and becomes a runaway boy!

In the midst of the situation, Saku and Taiyou face a number of incomprehensible disasters...!

I'm happy and excited to announce that this subbing project is in collaboration with my awesome Slasher friend, sakura! It was a blast working on the project together as hokusaku! 🤍(Check out sakura's YouTube channel for lovely DISH// song translations, btw!)

Kagefumi (2019)

English title: Shadowfall

A 2019 drama film based on Hideo Yokoyama's mystery novel "Kagefumi" starring Masayoshi Yamazaki, Takumi Kitamura, and Machiko Ono.

Makabe Shuichi (Yamazaki) is a professional thief who sneaks into people’s homes as they sleep in the dead of night. However, after unwittingly stumbling upon an attempted murder during a routine break-in, Makabe finds himself recalling something that happened decades previously, the memory of which he’d entirely supressed.

I am not sure if there are any English subs availably posted for this film already, but I will still post anyway. :)

The story may not be the kind that the masses would generally favor, but the film has this "captivating misery" to it. It deals with themes of redemption, loneliness, and forgiveness of oneself for things the characters had no control over, though blamed themselves for. Plus, there are certain scenes that will leave you confused or surprised.

I've started working on "Kagefumi" about more than a month ago, and it was honestly very challenging. But I must say that it was totally worth the challenge. And of course, it's worth the watch as well :)

「Sakura」 (2020) Subbed

The 2020 film "Sakura", starring Takumi Kitamura (DISH//), Nana Komatsu, and Ryo Yoshizawa is now subbed!

This is my first ever subbed movie! @slasherrin on Twitter shared a clean raw copy of the film and asked if I could sub it, so I gladly did. 😊 (Thank you, Rin! ❤)

I was so excited and pumped up the whole time I worked on the subs. 💖

I love how deeply emotional this film is, plus I just can't get enough of Takumi's narrating voice 😭 

This wonderful film is definitely a must-see! I won't say any more, so by all means, please watch the movie 💕

Alongside performing as a dance rock band, one of DISH//'s unique live show gimmicks is doing comical skits. DISH// does not only flourish in the field of music, but they also exhibit skill when it comes to impromptu acts.

This is a cut from the Ongakudan Matsuri 2018 live performance held in Hibiya Outdoor Concert Hall.

P.S. Some of the lines were difficult to translate since there aren't any English counterparts to them, so I decided to keep some of them as is and included notes instead 😅

As always, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the translations, but I do hope you enjoy watching the show as much as I did 😄
