Setting

After the Great War between Athos and the demons ended, the world was never able to recover.  

The people fought well, but they could not kill all of their enemies. The weakened ones fled and began to plot for their next attack, unbeknownst to the human warriors.

At last, after 200 years of war, the world was at peace once again.

As always, peace is not meant to last. Within the depths of the Laeves Palace, Queen (Astrela) Laeves receives a confidential report from her retainers. A supposedly extinct demon race had not only been spotted, but they were found populating the Crescent Moon Crypt. After a quick emergency council with other kingdoms in the land, a decision was made.

The Great War from centuries before was only won with the aid of six legendary heroes from another world. The tale was passed down from generation to generation, told to children before they slept and used as propaganda amongst the clergy as a sign that God existed. It seemed as if no living being knew the fate of the six after they went to fight the demon lord. Yet, the demons disappeared.

As such, the only solution the council could come to was to slay the menace before it could grow and fester. Queen Laeves summoned the court magicians to her side to prepare the ritual, and had the greatest scholars in the country research whatever writings were left from the Great War. The grand magic, Sacramentum Stellas, would be performed once again to summon great heroes to their realm.
