i am not saying they cannot be violent , nor am i saying they are unjustified. i am not read up enough on big runs but from what i heard it sounds like we are the ones taking their land. what i am saying is they are certainly not uncivilized as a species. they have their own complex society and saying they can be «tamed» is at best bad wording and at worst bigoted

@ishukuna some of you need to step back from your awake fantasy and see that pinkfish aren’t the same as us, and are in fact violent when they see a problem with something or need something.

not offensively because YES, inklings and octolings also are capable of violence.

but this strong sense of justice is ENCODED INTO PINKFISh BRAINS. i have in fact done my research on them and again was raised by them. Some like ones that start these big runs are not adapted to OUR lifestyle. that doesn’t mean there’s stuff inherently wrong with theirs….

we still lay eggs but those only hatch octolings. tentacle cloning creates other octarians. we did not have very good sex education so that was probably why , although i was never a takozonesu so maybe they told them because they were more likely to need to respawn

in the pursuit of fairness i feel like i should say i did not know that thing about ovulating. maybe that is why i missed mine after turfing on team presents

i suppose i might be conflating my own experiences with the educational system as well and assuming that other people learn the same stuff in other places. i have heard it's a little more common to clone children from tentacles than to have them from laying eggs in octarian territories though, do you know if this is true or not? if less people are laying eggs ovulation might be a lower priority thing to teach about i guess
