I have a theory that part of the reason why older artists love Taylor so much is because of how her single Tumblr post and subsequent conversations it brought on (and the re-recordings) have put masters and artists rights to their work in the minds of the general population than ever before. All of a sudden people started learning about something they’ve been fighting forever. That’s huge.
