@imbicilite continued from here thooough i’m sure it’s gonna be very short and heart ripping oops
How was school? Deux smiled sadly at his father. How he wished his father was literally anyone else. Gaston, hell Cruella De Ville. Anyone that deserved this. But no, it was the one that loved him so much. At this moment he had prayed he was someone else’s son.. it would’ve made what he was going to do much more satisfying and less feeling like he was killing the only person on the Isle that loved him and brought people hope... that is what will kill Lefou. His loyalty to the King.
“School was... terrible as usual. It is you or both of us.” Deux replied, holding the gun that was unmistakably part of Gaston’s home. God he wished this was that monster.. any monster. He’d have made it slower and loved it. But no, of course it had to be worse.. he forced himself to continue on. “They will kill us slow.. no loyalties to the mange ridden Beast is allowed to fester. They gave me a choice. Either we both die like the traitorous cowards we are, or I kill you. It’s a lose lose.”

Deux held himself, not backing out of this. “By Order of Maleficent, Gaston, and all the villains. I sentence you to death so that I may prove my loyalty to the villains.” He was defeated, “I swear I will make them pay for what they’re going to make me do, I swear.. I swear I will kill them all and make sure every pain is done a million times over.” Lefou Deux’s heart was full of pain and growing hatred. “Is something wrong. Everything is wrong.. why didn’t you hate the King and Auradon. Why? Why!? If only you faked it.”
“I love you.. I love you so much.” He wept, on the verge of breaking down. He knew where to aim, to make it fast. He swore he’d kill them all that forced him, that threatened him. He’ll play loyal until he kills them all. “Don’t hate me.. don’t hate me..” He pleaded. “Lefou, you are to die a traitor’s death by your son to prove he is loyal to the Isle.” He said like he was repeating words.. such horrible words.
And Lefou Deux pulled the trigger and with the blast, his own heart felt like it burst. The recoil shot pain through his arms but he felt so numb just as quickly.

Deux stared at the clown. Not nice? He didn’t like the sound of that. His father was the clown’s friend but also somehow the clown was not nice? He didn’t know how to exactly comprehend that.
The stare did not help his case. For that second he saw the unnatural golden eyes of the other. They almost glowed and that brought back some fear as he stared, making sure that he wasn’t seeing things. They weren’t blue, they were gold.
Did grab him? Think anything of it? The boy slowly nodded. “Okay..” He slowly began to move back. This was becoming a terrible idea quick. “I better go, my father is expecting me.” He was obviously not, but Pennywise scared him somewhat.
islefxxl:
He begins to feel more at ease. “I may have to call her something else given I’m not supposed to be talking to you. My father is weird.” I mean, besides the grab and the growling that may or may not have been a figment of his imagination. “I don’t know why. You’re very nice.”
It was a normal interaction. No wonder Lefou complimented the clown. “… I don’t mean to be awkward, but did you grab me just now?” He had felt the grip. It was tight but it most likely had not left any mark as proof it happened. “My mind messes with me sometimes.”
@islefxxl
“–Maybe you can call her Franc–” Pennywise suggested light heartedly. But IT’S smile dropped momentarily, and IT paused a few seconds before replying honestly “–No. Your father is my friend so I’ll stay on my best behavior for him, but I’m not really that nice–”
IT’S eyes flickered from a friendly blue hues as the GLAMOUR slipped, revealing unnatural, almost glowing gold eyes as the Deadlights danced behind them. Pennywise hesitated to answer, the traces of fear he had a moment ago did not go unnoticed, very tempting, and IT did not want to frighten him again and risk losing what little control IT had.
But Pennywise thought lying would be just as count productive, “–I did grab you, but don’t think anything of it–” The clown instructed without elaboration.

“Really? Because I don’t see it.” He was outright disgusted at how his father spoke of himself. “You had no choice! ... You had a choice and you chose me. For the greater good. This isn’t about me is it? I understand that my father can’t see a good chance at all.”
He just wanted his dad out and safe with him. Was that to much to ask? “I am if I’m found out here. They’d only see someone that may have killed others while breaking prisoners out.” He was having none of it. Lefou was coming with them, rather he liked it or not.
“You were a hero to me. That’s all that mattered, you did what you had to do. Even on the Isle, you did what you could to survive.. right? That’s what I’m doing. I am not a side-kick. I am a villain to Auradon, and a hero to the Isle. No one ever suspects the Fool, the quiet little fool that actually wants to learn. Bit them in the ass now, didn’t it?”
He saw others leaving with far more darker villains that may have belonged here. They were out of time. “Maddy, help me pull him when I get him out. He isn’t coming willingly”
Maddy stopped and looked at Lefou. “Once a dog, always a dog huh? We took care of the guards~”
Deux glared daggers at her. “Those we leave here will pay for what we’ve done.” He looks at his father. “I love you so much..” He would grab his father as gently but firmly as he could, and forced a sweet smelling smoke at his nose. “I’ll kill the ones knocked out, I don’t know if they saw my face”
islefxxl·:
“You taught me that this hellhole was heaven and everyone that came here, that lived here had goodness in their hearts. You lied… why did you lie? All I see is the true villains that hide like cowardly beasts behind good intentions, sweetening their lies with words!” Beau snapped back at his father, there was no heartbreak for his father’s anger, there was heartbreak at Auradon that treats VKs like time bombs and refusals when children of villains begged on their knees that their parents were innocent.
“How could I? HOW COULD THEY!? I am behaving the way they wanted me to. Like a villain should!” He had enough of them. “You should be proud of me.” Deux shakes his head. “Have they twisted you up so much, father?” His eyes stared almost with disappointment in them. “We have to go. No one will know who was behind the attack. They’re blind and will blame anyone. Now, you either come willingly or I will knock you out and make you come.” He was not up for debate, there was only anger left in his pained eyes and pained heart.
“Auradon has betrayed us. I will not bow before tyrants. Either you come, we take you, or I stay and be executed for our cause.. they will only hear my final words are: Down With Auradon!” There were cheers down the halls and more explosions setting off, some quiet due to breaking locks, some outside far louder, far more distracting. Deux didn’t flinch.
“Just knock the fool out, he doesn’t know a good thing if it bit him in the ass” Came a cold voice from a girl passing by.
Deux glared at her back as she walked away. “Come or I knock you out and drag you out. Please come willingly. You were crying earlier.. you know- no no, you know what they planned for you! How heartless it is. And they knew I couldn’t break the spell.. no, true love’s kiss does not work with family does it? It only works when someone loves you. Can’t you see how truly evil that is?! I can’t… I won’t watch you sleep forever, I can’t grow old and keep holding foolishly onto hope that someone will come and I’d see you again. I want to desperately say that love will come to you, but I won’t wait that long! I can’t be without my father..” It tore up Deux inside.
“I DIDN’T LIE! THEY’RE GOOD PEOPLE!” he says through tears. “I deserve to be put down after what I did. I nearly— I nearly ruined things for so many people, ruined lives, Deux! And now you’ve killed even more! For the greater good, I should’ve just been put to sleep, and you should understand that.”
HE STAYED STILL IN HIS CELL. “You are not.. going to be executed. You don’t deserve it. You’re young, foolish, making so many mistakes, but you don’t deserve to die like I do. Knock me out and take me if you have to, but I’m not… going with you willingly. I’m going to stay a prisoner one way or another.”
HIS HEART BROKE LISTENING TO HIS SON’S SPEECH. “It is heartless. It is cruel. And I deserve it, Deux. You don’t understand how horrible of a man I am.”

“Because they are the true evil. How dare they be so low as to do something like this to you. I love you, but it’s not what that true love’s kiss is about.” He loved his father dearly, but the love that would’ve broken the spell was not father and son. He was enraged in silence.
Lefou Deux stood there, among the smoke and knocked out guards that he was debating on finishing off. He smiled some, but it was not enough to hide his teared eyes that were still red, puffy, and still had tears sliding down. “I did. They deserve much worse.” There was no pity in his voice for the possible lives he took this night. “We’re letting others out so it will look like a full on attack and not just aim to get you out.” He was not alone, but he smiled. “They called me a fool but I’m a genius. Gardening and chemistry help out a lot when you know intent behind it.”
He walks towards the bars, put something in the keyhole. Backs up some and, with a smaller blast, the lock was destroyed and he reached to pull the door open, using his cloak to make sure he didn’t accidentally burn his fingers. “Come on, we need to move quickly.” Others ran past Deux but he paid no mind. They all had their reasons to do this, Deux just had a way in.
HE REFUSED TO BUDGE. HE WAS, believe it or not, more willing to accept his fate with grace than try to escape. He didn’t want to be the coward who fled again, especially when his escape put lives at risk. He pulls back away from his son, staring into his tear-filled eyes.
“THIS ISN’T HOW YOU’RE SUPPOSED to behave.. This isn’t what I’ve taught you– how could you?” The sound of heartbreak was real in his voice. He wasn’t thankful for his rescue, he wasn’t proud. Only disappointment, and a bit of horror, resonated with his words.

HE WAS CURLED UP, SOBBING where Deux found him, he did not know his son was the cause of the destruction for sure, but he had his suspicions. “The city’s aflame, Deux… I– I don’t know what to do…” He trembled. How pathetic, that he still cared for everyone despite them being so quick to send him to a loveless grave.
HE LOOKED UP AT at his son, more fear in his eyes than the boy had ever seen before– and he’d seen his father wear plenty. “Why couldn’t they just…. why did they have to sentence me like this– They know i don’t have anyone who loves me like that.” He felt old, worn, used, impure. He’d had many a lover yet none a love. Somehow he managed a son out of all of that, but his heir was soon to be an orphan if things carried on.
HIS VISION CLEARS from his tears, and he notices that Deux did indeed knock out the guards. He likely set off the bombs too, and he shook his head in denial. “Deux… you couldn’t have….”
“Because they are the true evil. How dare they be so low as to do something like this to you. I love you, but it’s not what that true love’s kiss is about.” He loved his father dearly, but the love that would’ve broken the spell was not father and son. He was enraged in silence.

He had prepared for the worst. Like Auradon giving them twenty years to change their ways, Beau had given them many chances, many grand ideas that they were as his father claimed them to be. Just and good. But now, he saw them as the villains.
The order was called and he gave up hope for Auradon’s stupidity that was ruled under a tyrant. He was quiet. Mourning and grieving as people could say, but of course he was still looked over. So he worked in the darkness. It was one chance, just one and he’d have to be in and out.
His eyes narrowed darkly, watching in silence. It was a kindness, falling asleep forever until True Love came. He wanted to laugh. How heartless of them to be. The explosions were set off by the one. It was almost funny that one could make something so deadly out of common fertilizer, other chemicals and a bit of brain.
There were others with him. Providing distractions. Nothing would come back to him. After all, Lefou Deux is sound asleep in his room.. right?
Sneaking inside, the cloaked boy looked at his father, a smile on his face with pride as he walked towards the guards who tried to stop him. He chanted a spell that knocked them out. None seeing his face as he actually stepped on one of them, almost enjoying the grunt of pain. “Hello, father. Sorry I’m late, had a bit of a delay~”
Outside was fire and rubble. Deux was unsure if he accidentally killed anyone, but at the same time, he could have cared less. His father’s life is all that mattered now.
islefxxl·:
“It’s not punishable when it comes to villains.” He countered. “Maleficent will pay for this…” But his father did have a point. If the boy wasn’t careful, they’d share a bunk, but then again, Deux would’ve cared less if he wound up here. He’d be with his father and he’d have done Auradon either great damage or a great favor.
“Please don’t say that. Don’t defend them either… they won’t hear our sides of the story because of who we are. You don’t deserve any of this. You deserve to be free and living where you can see the sky.” They can still learn? It’s been twenty years. They had time to learn, but they didn’t. No, they doomed themselves. “I won’t get hurt.” He leans in to hug his father but his whisper was anything but a kind act of a son’s love. “I will give them one more week to re-consider. If they are still true fools… they will die before you do.” His voice was so low, almost unheard, but his words were only seethed with hatred and pain.

He pulls away and smiled. “I love you dad, I will do anything for you.” He smiled as if he didn’t just threaten a whole nation. He was smart and was overlooked as a fool, and that, can be very dangerous.
FAST FORWARD A WEEK, AND THE ORDER WAS CALLED. Three more days pass in preparation for the most brutal act of governing thus far form Auradon’s Monarchy: He had been given twenty years to change his ways, twice what the Beast had been given, and yet, he had failed. So for the first time, instead of being resurrected and imprisoned, the life of an evil soul would be stamped out permanently.
FABIEN HAD GIVEN UP ALL HOPE, as he waited in his cell. He was lucky they showed some mercy and didn’t make it a live public spectacle. From what Belle had told him, he’d feel a pinch, from the spinning wheel spindle- fall asleep, and never wake up. Unless true love came along, but, no one counted on that: villains could not feel true love. As far as everyone knew, he was good as dead. The wagon carrying the wheel was on it’s way to the castle…. only to be interrupted by an explosion.

Seeing his father chained sickened him. Did they expect him to become a Beast or something when they already had one that had ruled over them? Seeing his father like this only tightened his own rope around his heart that was his anger and grief.
“I could never be disappointed in you. You did what no villain would… you’re my hero.” He had always said that on The Isle, always got laughed at and beat up for it. This proved his father was a hero. If he was a coward or villain than he’d had let his son die from that lizard witch’s hand. He stood there, allowing the tears to fall finally, not able to watch. “I’ve been telling them everything.” Shouldn’t they notice that Deux hadn’t changed his story aside from getting angrier and desperate. “I’m so proud of you, father. You’re the greatest hero I’d ever known..”

“You will walk free from the chains soon, I know it.” Either the cowardly king will set his father free, or he himself will. Whichever came first. If anything, this was all his fault, Maleficent found him out through talking to highly. If he had only pretended to dislike his father. “I’ll find a way to get revenge on that dark faerie for what she did to us.” And Beast, and Belle, and anyone that refuses to listen or hurt us.
“DON’T BOTHER WITH REVENGE— LOOK where that got me.” He tries to raise an arm to show off the shackle, but lowered it immediately. It was too heavy and he was far too exhausted. “I don’t want anyone else getting hurt, Deux. I don’t want you to get hurt, I don’t want them to get hurt. If I get hurt…. I deserve it, but they…. can still learn.” After all, they weren’t broken beyond repair like he was. Unfixable.

THE SIGHT OF THE HIGH TRAITOR was indeed a miserable one. He wore enough shackles to weigh him to the stack of straw he was lucky enough to call a bed, every precaution in the books was taken to prevent him from making an escape attempt. As they decided if he’d be sentenced to death, he was kept on the very brink of it: one bowl of gruel a day for a meal, and nothing more.
HE TURNED TO FACE HIS SON. The only one in this miserable world who didn’t hate him, and tears filled his eyes: He wasn’t strong enough to hold them back anymore. “I… I know you’re disappointed in me…. please know I did this for you.”

What does Deux taste like? Pennywise wondered again. Does he taste like his father?
Obviously the answer was yes, that came with the fact that they were indeed father and son. They’d taste the same IT didn’t need to sample, IT didn’t…IT didn’t.
Saliva built up in the clown’s mouth, dripping over the corner of IT’S mouth as Pennywise barely heard Deux speak.
The clown blinked and forced ITSELF to concentrate on the interaction with Deux, and in such a way that would not end with IT dragging him off for dinner.i, Pennywise reminded ITSELF and swallowed IT’S saliva.
“–It might be a little confusing but I think I can handle it–” Pennywise replied and gingerly patted the balloon cat’s head “–Hello Penny–”
He begins to feel more at ease. “I may have to call her something else given I’m not supposed to be talking to you. My father is weird.” I mean, besides the grab and the growling that may or may not have been a figment of his imagination. “I don’t know why. You’re very nice.”

itsdeadlights:
IT hoped that someday, perhaps, Lefou could appreciate the physical restraint IT practiced to not just make the boy a spider. And the restraint it took to not grab Deux and gobble him up when IT finished the balloon and handed it to him.
IT almost did though.
The creature blew up and shaped the balloon with no issue, it was only when IT grabbed his arm to place the cat into his hand that IT’S grip suddenly tightened and Pennywise stared at Deux with an increasingly eerie stillness. The creature wondered, just briefly, almost instinctively, what he tasted like and the next several heartbeats passed in a tense struggle against IT’S own instinct to consume.
A low, hungry growl made it passed the clown’s lips before Pennywise snapped out of it and let go of Deux. “–What’cha going to name your new kitty–?” IT asked casually as if the last few seconds had not happened at all.
“I love your make up by the way. The red streaks look nice.” He failed to mention that they could mock sadness to. Thankfully the cheerfulness beat back the sad clown part.
The boy took the cute cat and suddenly jumped some when the clown’s grip suddenly tightened and he stared in a sudden unease that choked the cheerfulness away. The stare made the boy try and pull away, fear growing suddenly in him.
Do not be afraid of him.
Why, dad?
Just don’t.
Memories came back and now he understood why. The sudden shift in It’s expression didn’t help his growing worry. He had to remind himself that this was his father’s friend.. right? The low growl broke what ever thought that had been. No one could growl like that.. well, maybe besides Harry, and that in turn frightened him some more. And suddenly, just as the on edge moment happened, it vanished and it was like he imagined the grab. And he looked at It, more confused. Did that just happen? The boy now faked a smile as he questioned his sanity.
This clown was a friend. “Umm. Hmm Penny is a cute name, do you mind if I call her Penny?” His voice betrayed his hidden fear. That didn’t happen, maybe I am going mad.

Do not be afraid of him. His father’s voice echo’d in his mind and he stared at It, still smiling, although now it felt strained. Easier told to than done.

He had a personal hatred growing within him, towards Maleficent which was madness in general. And now for the people of Auradon that either didn’t understand or refused to look past the ends of their noses that his father did all this for him.
Hatred that made children into villains, and grief that hardens hearts. Night after night he begged them to free his dad, that his dad was innocent. And night after night, each denial was like ice being stabbed into his heart, darkening it. He also waiting, waiting for them to drop the one order that will destroy what ever good was in the boy.
Slowly he walked into the room, smiling meekly at the guards. He didn’t wear his goggles nor had any tools on him that he usually had. Precaution. At least they were smart, he’d give them that. But still so dumb. His smile was false though, it hid his heartache. And he hated it more when he saw the media figures waiting outside. He hated this. This place that was supposed to be good when really he felt more and more welcome from the Isle.
He sat down in his usual spot, away from others or as away he could be. Feeling stares even when he was sure he was alone aside from the guards. Either stares of disappointment because he was sure a good boy and was raised by this monster, or that they were waiting for him to snap to, to go mad. It was blackmail! Please sire! The recent echo’d arguments and pleas ran over in his head. Damn them, Damn them all.
@islefxxl liked for a prison starter!
VISITING TIME. He often… surprisingly, got several people competing for the slot, mainly media figures. But today, it’d be his son. He was back in the tower dungeon in Beast’s Castle after being outed as a spy for the Isle, betraying the crown and nearly destroying the enchanted rose. Execution was still up for debate.
HE’D GOTTEN INTO THIS SITUATION after Maleficent had held Deux captive, blackmailing LeFou into using his status as the first freed sidekick to wreak havoc on Auradon. He did it for his son. And he felt terribly, terribly guilty. He couldn’t win either way.

He frowned and listened... with growing disgust. Why ever did he think that was an act? “They wouldn’t have let me do that... Auradon and the Isle. The villains... oh, believe me, I will make each of them pay. They will underestimate me. They will try to use me and their kids... but we will rule over them.
Just watch. I am playing for keeps, papa. They will all see me as a true villain. Look at me, Lefou. I am the Greatest Villain of the Age!”
He stood there, looking his father. Maybe Deux has gone insane. Growing disgust from the man he once looked up to to the point that he came up with the idea that Lefou was a hero. “No. They deserve to rot. I was misguided when I followed your morals. But I love you still. You are my father, no matter what you think of me.”
He shook his head as he looked from the machine to Lefou. “... I dreamed one day you’d be proud of me. It was a stupid dream from a stupid child. Hand yourself in, it’s what you’re good for..” He dropped the machine and stomped on it, smashing it and destroying it beyond repair or hope of rebuilding before kicking it over and into the sea. Keeping only some pieces just in case.
“I will not be here. Kiss the king’s boots.. but I do have a message. Tell them who did this. And let them know I will not stop until they are at our mercy, I want those foolish royals and heroes to quiver in fear at my name, to grovel at my feet. They think me insane.. and can say what I’m doing will be impossible. If they mention that, kindly point at the Isle that once had a barrier.”
islefxxl·:
“Well, that’s what they get for imprisoning villains. Did they expect that we’d all be thanking them?” He spat in disgust. Auradon had not cared for the children the left here to rot. They hadn’t bothered to help Deux, Harry, anyone that cried for it. This felt merciful… and his father should be happy for him. “I did what no one else ever did. I took down the barrier and overcame dearest Fairy Godmother’s magic! It means that they get everything that’s coming to them, papa. You get revenge to!”
He stood there, tall and prideful for once in his life. He heard a sudden explosion in the distance and watched fires and magic spread out. “How could I? Why, with my brain of course. They underestimated me, I bowed lower than you, acted like a fool. Now they will bow to us. We, without magic. Yet we had the power to destroy the barrier. I just learned how to adapt and use it.” He grinned at his father… and frowned. Why was he so concerned for them?
He looked out at the burning flames and magic. “It means we’re free. We’re seen as criminals and villains, Lefou. Did they expect anything less? They left us here to rot. To get sick on rotten food, to drink sour milk… to watch us suffer. You… you starved for me to eat. No one, no matter how evil they are, deserved this.” He grit his teeth in anger.
“It means we’re free to do as we please. To eat what we want, to sleep on warm beds! Why are you so against this?” He had dreams of this happening. “So much work… and he says ‘why have you done this’? Honestly…” He shook his head as he walks to his father. “We can go! Lets go!”
“I DON’T WANT REVENGE, DEUX.” LeFou said in horror at his son’s words. “I do thank them for imprisoning me. It’s what I deserved, It’s what I need. You can’t do this, these people were locked up for a reason. Free yourself, free your friends, that’s fine– but Maleficent? Ursula? Myself? We need to stay behind the barrier. Now look what you’ve done.”
LEFOU FLINCHED AND SOBBED at the explosion. “I don’t want this. I don’t want them to bow to us. I don’t want to be free, I… I deserve to rot, Deux, so do they. This is wrong. This isn’t how it should be– you’re so misguided..”
“I’M NOT GOING. I’M STAYING RIGHT HERE until the authorities come to investigate, and then I’m handing myself in. I don’t want any part of this– How could you? How could my only son do this?”

“Oh I see. Well, so is Deux.. more like a bullied nickname I accepted. I’m called Beau De Lafayette if we’re technical. Both are a bit flashing so Deux I am.” He bowed playfully.
Eyes look oddly at the red latex shape. “Alright, deal. Hmm can you do a cat?” Why did his father not want him near the clown? He came off at first as a little touchy but he seems very friendly.
“Thank you so much... I would ask for a spider. But my dad is scared of those.” He liked spiders.. they were such misunderstood creatures.

“Secret it is.” He blinks at the bow before he bows back to try and show some respect. “I am Beau De Lafayette, but everyone usually calls me Lefou Deux or Deux. Sorry it’s not as great as yours. But a pleasure. It’s nice to meet you face to face”
His father said to stay away from the clown, but why? He seemed to be a sweet man, a little strange but sweet none the less. His father clearly failed to mention that It was not all that It seemed.

“–Oh, Pennywise is a stage name my real one isn’t nearly as remarkable–” IT said and pulled a red latex shape which IT blew up into a long stick. “–However, you’re going to have to wait until your father introduces us before I tell you that. What sort of balloon animal do you want, Beau–?” IT asked, rapidly changing the subject.
IT had thought about giving the boy one of IT’S standard red balloons, but Lefou would recognize IT’S signature and Pennywise didn’t want to get the boy in trouble- so a balloon animal would be a sufficient substitute as a gift.
