One of my favorite details from the finale is how three sky tendrils go into the Hexgates to take Vi, Jinx, and Ekko.
But Jinx dodges one of them.
This at first seems like a false victory, since she’s immediately grabbed by Warwick and another one just takes her.
But it’s not a false victory. The one that took Jinx was originally meant for Ekko, who was an unconscious duck at the time.
Because Jinx dodged the first sky tendril, Ekko remained disconnected from Viktor’s hivemind – which as you know, was kind of a major factor in the whole stopping the apocalypse from happening.
It’s this small, short-lived triumphant moment that seemingly doesn’t matter and yet it was essential to Ekko's major triumph in the end.
So yeah, I just really love that detail.
Also, I couldn't resist putting the flash frame of Ekko here, because my god, the art in this show is beyond amazing.

Remember that time Ekko just stared at Jinx while she killed his friends with grenades?

THE WAY THAT EKKO NEVER GOT TO MEET ISHA. THE WAY THAT EKKO NEVER GOT TO SEE WHO JINX BECAME WHEN SHE WAS CARING FOR ISHA. THE LIFE THAT RETURNED TO HER EYES WHEN THAT SMALL CHILD STARTED TO DEPEND ON HER AND TRUST HER AND LOVE HER AT HER WORST. THE WAY THAT ISHA REPRESENTED EVERY ASPECT OF POWDER THAT STILL REMAINED IN JINX'S LIFE AT THAT POINT.

Just saw a theory that Jinx had already converted her lab into a balloon during the timeskip between acts 1 and 2 and was planning on taking Isha away from Zaun before the events of act 2 kicked off.
My day is ruined.

agree with ember on this.. it didn't have to be a romantic time bomb set of narrative. just a friend being guided by another friend through healing enough to realize there is still so much to live for. I feel like going from "gunna blow myself up" to "im a confident badass ready to save the world" and "im always with you sis!" was a bit of a leap and i would have liked to have seem this played out narratively more so the change wasn't so abrupt
Would I be wrong if I said I would've preferred to see Ekko and Jinx drawing on each other over the Violyn sex scene😓

Isha bonding with Vander so quickly because she understands what it's like to not be able to communicate with others the way that she's trying to. Bringing him food and water and helping him forwards when he physically can't ask for it, but probably wants it. Constantly watching him and looking into his face, for any type of communication that he can give.
Jinx defending Vander so quickly and consistently because she understands what it's like to be changed. To have your mind altered and become violent and confused. To not always have complete control over your actions, to not be the same person, but to still be *you.*
Vi learning to accept Jinx through accepting Vander. Learning to understand Jinx on some level through understanding Vander. Vi learning to create a new family with new dynamics that better fit them now, through watching this new little girl become family.
Yeah.
