can i give y’all some genuine life advice? be the kind of friend you want to have. my whole life i’ve wanted friends who go out and take pictures of eachother and stay up late on the phone. i’ve always wanted friendship bracelets and pictures hanging on my walls. and now i have that becuase i became someone who took pictures of my friends and listens to what they have to say and invites them over when they feel sad. be someone you want to be friends with and i promise you others will want to be friends with you too.

look man im a native english speaker and i’ve been mispronouncing a crap ton of words because i never looked up the pronunciation for any of them but if you make fun of how a foreigner pronounces an english word either because of their accent or having never heard that word before i will fucking fight you because english has shitty pronunciation rules and none of them make sense fuck off

Azula is so brilliant and ruthless, you spend most of the series feeling Zuko’s (very justified) fear of her. When she snaps, it hits so hard because it’s so easy to forget that, despite her tactical genius, she was still a 14 year-old girl who felt that her own mother was afraid of her. I love that Zuko never gets stronger than her. He and Katara defeated her together, and there’s no shame in him needing help—quite the opposite; having the help of a friend is a great thing. It’s like the whole shounen trope where the protagonist is stronger than the antagonist because said protagonist has the power of friendship, but pulled off with more impact and none of the corniness
