I saw the new Wicked movie and daaaaamn that was very doomed Yuri of them. Especially love how Glinda was just straight up having a manic episode during the “Popular” musical number like yes you’ve just discovered human empathy and did a matching mating bird dance with the green girl at the club. Now you’re swimming on the floor and hanging from the chandelier and doing splits in the hallway. Bitch, you’re in love

the first time i watched wicked i didn’t rlly see the throuple thing with fiyero, elphaba & glinda. but on my second watch there was this moment where i was like OMG THROUPLE!!!! and i’m not rlly sure why

but the moment when glinda changes her name & she’s like “im making an announcement! i’m going to change my name!”, fiyero immediately so concerned just says “your name?!” & glinda very quickly turns to look at him and says “yes😇”

then elphaba equally as concerned as fiyero goes “are you sure???” and glinda again turns quickly to say “yes😇” & in the theatre i was like omg that was such a throuple moment between them

elphaba & fiyero were just looking at her so fondly & concerned afterward as well like they’re both thinking “well, our gf is always doing silly things, but she’s glinda so we’ll just go along with it” i love them

You cant tell me that while Galinda has a ridiculous amount of hair care and it takes her ages to do, that she isnt both adoring of/fawns over, while also intrigued by Elphaba's hair.

Galinda: what do you MEAN you dont have to brush it every day

You also can't tell me Galinda would just- leave it be. She ADORES researching about Elphie's hair type and ways to style it, and how to take care of it. Cause Elphie brushes her hair, but Galinda wants to be able to do the same for her.

And Elphaba is almost brought to tears when Galinda starts talking about what she learned because NO ONE has ever taken the time to learn about something like that for her and for her sake before.

Galinda panicking thinking she did something wrong and Elphaba having to explain she's not sad, she's actually just so so overwhelmed with emotion at how much Galinda cares about her.

And so Galinda makes it a habit to help Elphie with her hair, and absolutely ADORES playing with and styling Elphie's hair.

Elphaba likes to sigh and make a huff but actually adores it, and is so in love with the lengths Galinda goes to to learn about and include Elphie in ways no one ever has before.

I'm sorry but I cannot get over the deleted scene where Glinda asks Elphie about Fiyero and the lion cub, and Elphie clearly thinks she's jealous and reassures her. But no, Glinda isn't worried about that at all; she's upset that Elphie chose him over her. And then Elphie's slow look of realisation as this clicks. In my mind this is when she realises that Glinda is in love with her.

My heart cannot handle "You could've picked me" (!!!!!) and how "I'm not that girl" plays for a few seconds in the background, a song about the one you love not loving you back. I'm a mess
