âexactly and each child learns at their own pace, you canât force something into them and expect them to get it right away,â she studied her students and could tell, each and every one of them had a different way of learning. âi mean⌠more or less, were you a bad child?â naomi inquires in a teasing tone. a playful scoff escapes her lips as she rolls her eyes. âyâknow what? iâm going to get a video of my students telling you that.âÂ
he stared at her as she spoke, somehow he was happy to hear her words, knowing she was one of those good teachers, he was sure that a few of her students were happy to have her in their life. âthatâs right, i hope itâs different these days.â zac replied to her. âoh -- i was a very bad, bad child.â he said, and every word of it was the truth. âokay then-- letâs see if youâre speaking the truth teacher.â

as issac looked down at her she looked up at him brows raised, âwhat are you doing?â she began to ask before he began his little charade making her roll her eyes and let out a breath shaking her head, âyou want to crash a wedding? the day thatâs supposed to be the best for someone? for a free drink?â she asked trying to wrap her mind around it all, âand you want me to find something else to wear? to said wedding weâre getting a drink at?â she added on looking down at the outfit she was wearing, âyou can get a free drink at a bar! iâm sure we can find a bar that someone will buy that pretty face a drink.â she smiled up at him
âoh come on itâs not the same.â he pointing out as he waved his hand in the air. âitâs something that gives you the âforbiddenâ thrill.â he tried to explain to her his intentions. âitâs not all about the free drink, you get to dress up fancy for no reason, dancing, drinking maybe hit on some guy that you fancy from there?â he said, he met one of his ex flames like that. âitâs going to be fun.â

âunderstandable, all kids learned differently and teachers need to realize that.â she simply states with a shrug of her shoulders. âi could see why you were very fond of her,â she smiles softly, he just felt safe in the classroom. âas if! iâm sure my students will tell you differently.â naomi mentions with a chuckle.Â
âi do think that they need to release that some kids need help to communicate with other.â he stated, although he knows that things are different than now. âyeah-- you can tell a lot by knowing how i was as a child, donât you?â zac asked. âiâm gonna need a proof.â he teased.

âsee iâm going to have to pass on that idea.â she was saying looking at the other as she made a face, âit doesnât look particularly safe and i know iâm the wild child but i just donât think this is the smartest choice for us to do.â she said with a shake of her head, âi mean there has to be a safe option right? we canât just do that.â she pointed out as she questioned truly trying to find her way out of whatever trouble she could avoid for the time being with everything coming out soon she had to play it safe it was easier to play it safe.Â
he looked at her and his eyebrows frowned. âwait a sec.â he said as he pretended to dial a number on his hand palm. âhello--â he said putting his hand closer to his ear. âis this the party pooper police?â he asked. âyeah-- hey, thereâs this girl who doesnât want to go crash a wedding with me. --- yeah i know, who doesnât want to do it?â he said pausing pretending that someone else is speaking. âokay-- youâre getting arrested.â he said putting his hand in his jeansâ pocket. âitâs my fatherâs friend, and weâll get a free drink and get out of there, no one will notice. but you do need to wear something else.â

to: open location: behind the cafe she works at
âyouâre not smoking out here, are you?â
the voice of zaâs boss at the cafe she worked at rang out behind the building, where zarina was taking an indulgently long break. the back door opened and the manager poked their head out, looking between their employee and the person standing with them. âno oneâs smoking out here, boss dude. weâre like, zero percent interested in that stuff. swear on my life,â she assured her manager, who gave them the olâ stink eye after hearing zaâs strained voice, but still went back inside. the cloud of smoke that exploded out of zarina was thick and potent, leaving her coughing, laughing, and extending the joint sheâd been hiding behind her back to their partner in crime, âi swear some people need to stop being so uptight about this. the world is going to shit, youâd think theyâd want us to be as relaxed as possible. not to mention my shift ends in like thirty anyway,â she scoffed, shaking her head, âanyway, thanks for not blowinâ up my spot. you want a hit? either that or i owe you a late lunch after this.â
zac wasnât a smoker but sometimes he could use to be relaxed in some kind of natural way, if thatâs a good excuse. he pressed his lips together and holding his laugh back, trying to look serious as the other spoke to the manager. as he saw him going back he let out a chuckle. âyou could be an actress.â he teased, he didnât even know how her boss believed her. ânah not today, but you can take me on the lunch deal for sure.â zac said and winked. he was an foodie guy so he could never say no to food.Â

âyouâre telling me youâre one of those students that werenât there to learn?â she rises a brow. naomi in the other case was conditioned to be a good student, it was imprinted upon her and her parents always strive for her to be the best. âapples are definitely one way to win a teacherâs heart.â she laughs before leaning back in her seat, rising her brow at his sudden change of tone, laughing ever so slightly. âmm, not bad.âÂ
âi just didnât like the framework i guess.â he said, although he ended up being in the army for several years -- ironic. âshe was one of the only people who actually let me talk and express myself. the others just threw my out of class.â he shared. ânot bad? it was perfect -- better than yours for sure.â he teased and let out a laugh.Â

âa troublemaker now are we?â he rises a brow, a smirk appearing across his lips. he could always use more troublemakers in his life, causing chaos where ever they go. âmoved here about five years ago, but iâve always lived in new york. how about yourself?âÂ
âi ran away from that nickname.â zac pointed out. but the other looked like someone who wonât judge him for his past. he huffed. âoh new york is fun--â he said and nodded. âiâve been here my whole life but ditched the hamptons for the army seven years ago.â zac replied.Â

serenity rises a brow at his words before shaking her head, âoh, so definitely a delinquent.â she laughs, wondering if the people who had lived the town were aware of this reputation he had. ânice to meet you,â she states eyeing his hand for a split second before extending hers. she couldnât remember the last time someone did that.Â
he couldnât help but let out a chuckle. âbut i promise iâm not a dangerous one.â at least now. he teased. âbut if this town has a short memory then iâm safe from rumors.â he added quickly. âsame--â he shook his head. âdonât know much gentleman?â he asked her as he put back his hands into his jacketâs pockets.

she figures that winter wonderland had always been a hit in the hamptons, knowing that many travelled to attend it as well to make their holiday season special. serenity was lucky enough to experience it three years in a row. âiâm guessing you were a delinquent teen?â she teasingly jokes before smiling. âserenity,â she answers.Â
×´letâs say i didnât really leave the best impression on people.â he said, telling the truth sadly. but the army did change him for good, but some of the bad habits are still there. âserenity-- iâm zac.â he said putting a hand and then offering it. towards her.

âdefinitely far from it,â he nods his head, laughing a bit. charity events werenât really his thing, although he wouldnât mind playing one. he was much more into the night club scene. âyouâre right about that, i donât mind at all.â he states with a shrug of his shoulders. âiâm sure i already have a bad reputation around town.âÂ
âoh you and me both, i think there are some stores who still donât like when i come into them--â he said and couldnât help but laugh. âso how long youâve been here?â he asked.Â

âi have to give it to high school teachers though, some students could be little shits and arenât even there to learn.â she shakes her head, knowing that she wouldnât teach anything higher than the seventh grade. a laughter falls from her lips as she rises a brow, âdid you ever tell your elementary teacher you had a crush on her?â naomi playfully rolls her eyes, âand you think your teacher voice is any better?âÂ
âthatâs exactly what i thought might have been my problem.â he confirmed, he wasnât a good student thatâs for sure. but he was very misunderstood and just got kicked out. âgod no-- but i did give her apples.â he said playfully. âi never thought about it actually.â he replied quickly. âgood morning class, please turn page seven.â he said firmly. âwhat do you say?â

for: open location: around town/window shopping
the new year was just around the corner and eliana was more than excited to get the perfect outfit ready for the occasion. she had woken up extra early today in order to hit as many stores as she could before caving and wanting to go back home under her warm blankets. one thing was for sure, she wasnât the biggest fan of cold weather. but, ironically enough, she liked snow and sleeping with the winter cracked open on a cold winter night. she had a couple of bags occupying one of her arms and was on a mission to get at least one more dress because she had full intentions of letting her followers pick out the dress sheâd wear for the holiday, but she paused when she passed by one shop that had the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. âisnât that the most beautiful dress youâve ever seen?â she asked the person next to her, too fixated to see who it was,â do you think i could pull it off though?â
isaac hasnât been home for the holidays for almost eight years, and his father decided to throw this big party for him at the bar his family owned. and he came to the realization that he didnât have anything to wear for the special occasion. he was walking around the shops, he was about to get into one when the girl asked him a question. he looked up and down at the small woman compared to him. he was checking her out.. but in the end, she asked him. âi think so, yeah--â he said putting his hands into his coatâs pockets. âbut isnât it too cold for a dress like this?â he asked naively.Â

âi donât know about that⌠thereâs some teachers that are pure rude.â she states with a shrug of her shoulders knowing that in the break room some teachers talk badly about their students. a small laughter falls from her lips before she rolls her eyes. âhow rude!âÂ
âoh i didnât have good teachers in high school, but in elementary school they were just too nice. i think i had a crush on one of them.â he joked. âiâm just being honest.â he said and couldnât help himself but laugh.Â

the guy laughed along with the other guy. âfar from that you say?â he asked, referring to the charity event. âsometimes itâs a bad thing.â he said playfully. like him, zac was known as bad news most of his years around town. âbut i bet you donât mind it.âÂ

âseems like good memories to have,â she smiles, it must be nice to have good childhood memories about the lovely winter wonderland which seems to be tradition here in the hamptons. âthings havenât really changed since the previous years.â she admits, glancing around before her eyes fell upon him with a smile. âalso definitely recommend the spike hot chocolate.âÂ
âyeah it is--â he said, hitting back to those memories. although he used to cause so much trouble at the winter wonderland most of the time. but they were good memories in the end. âi think itâs different only because the last time iâve been here was when i was a teen.â he confessed. âafter you -- i didnât catch your name?â he said, doubt in his words.

âof course i had to tell her that he was just joking,â she mentions with a shake of her head. âi couldnât let him ruin her christmas spirit. i also informed her parents, so they could make christmas extra special for her to ensure that santa is real.â naomi states with a warm smile before bursting into laughter. âplease, donât tell me that i sound like that.âÂ
zac let out a dry chuckle and crossed his arms as she replied. âhow come teachers always end up being the nicest people in the whole world. i mean thatâs extra but for you, it might be just another monday.â he said with a shrug. ×´no-- you sound much worst.â he joked.

thereâs no way zac knew the guy from partying since he was nineteen. âif you did some charity in some soldiers' event then yes i mightâve seen you. if not then no.â he replied. âbut maybe i saw around town.âÂ
