🔍 A Lesson in Professionalism and Respect in Recruitment

Recently, I applied for a Team Lead Supervisor position that was actively posted. To my surprise, I was contacted by a recruiter offering a Quality Analyst role instead—one I hadn't applied for. While I have experience in that field, the lack of transparency was concerning.

What stood out:

Lack of Communication: If the original position was no longer available, a direct notification would have been appreciated.

Assumptions: Offering a different role without context can be perceived as dismissive of the applicant's intentions.

Respect for Time: As professionals, it's essential to value each other's time and efforts.

I declined the onsite interview, not out of disrespect, but to maintain clarity in my career direction.

This experience underscores the importance of clear communication, respect, and professionalism in the recruitment process. Let's strive for transparency and mutual respect in all professional interactions.
