you and lando had been chatting through messages all day long: the night had fallen, and you were putting off the farewell, not wanting to end the pleasant conversation. inevitably, you had to say goodbye, and lando distractedly wrote “oh ok, bye! ily!!” checking his message before sending it, he gasped in shock with that three last letters. his heart was almost jumping out of his mouth as he quickly deleted the “ily” part. blankly looking at the cellphone screen, he tried to understand from where those words came from. did he mean it?yes, of course he meant it, he concluded, as his fingers were itching to put the confession back into the message. finally pressing the send buttom, he layed on his bed, dreaming of the day he would be able to deliver his feelings to you, and even getting an “ily” back.

while he was listening to a random playlist on shuffle, charles came across this one song that talked about love. closing his eyes and fully taking in the words being sang by a mellow voice, your image suddenly appeared behind his shut eyelids. intrigued by this unexpected thought of you, he let the melody flow and carry him to the depths of his own feelings: his memories of you started popping up in his mind, blending so well with the lyrics, and giving color and meaning to them. he started singing along, and he only became aware of it when his ears captured an “i love you” by the end of the chorus. with a soft smile on his face, he repeated this line, acknowledging it was totally directed to you. <3

If I may put my two cents in- regarding Senna I figured that there were external circumstances involved (don't quote me on this, but sth with their families?), their "dates" were always chaperoned (god i feel gross calling that when she was only 15 but you know what I mean) and to my knowledge she never said anything negative about her time with him. So while it is HUGELY icky at the end of the day no one seems to have been harmed and Senna seemed like a genuinely kind person who always strived to be their best self, not some kind of predator out to hurt young girls

yes!! exactly!!!!!! you said everything!! like i don’t know exactly how things went, but i remember seeing that their families knew each other??? or something like that? idk. but despite everything, he was very good to her: she always said how nice and kind he was and unfortunately many people have this view of him that he is a predator or something like that. it’s weird, sure, but at least he was good and kind to her :’)

Also along with the stuff about Daniel, I unfortunately do agree despite him being the reason I got into F1 in the first place. It’s kinda time we see younger drivers who have the skill and potential to make it (Especially Liam. Like as much as i have a soft spot for Daniel he’s sorta just- not it- rn and haven’t for a while- plus Liam has great dynamic with Yuki and I’d love to see more of that)

well, i really like logan, ngl… sooo i’ll probably start writing for him!! ihope you like it hehe <3 and yes, i understand you perfectly: i know a lot of people who follow formula 1 specifically because of Daniel and it’s very frustrating and sad to see how a person who used to be so cool and funny is actually shit... 🫤 but yeah, i’m very excited to see Liam!! i also love his dynamic with Yuki, they’re so cute and funny without even trying 😭😭

you and oscar were hanging around together, as you always do almost every friday night. because of some silly thing he did, you started laughing; that full and genuine laugh, that laugh that was his favorite sound and his instant serotonin pill. his smiley eyes, locked on your bright face, seemed trapped in a dream. he wished time had stopped at that moment. he wished you could hold that laugh and joy forever. he wished he could see you like this every single day of his life, and, more than that, he wished to be by your side as the main reason of your smiles, until the end of times. by wishing you happiness, he felt happiness himself, and that was when the feelings he always had but couldn’t name were consolidated in his heart. if that wasn’t love, he didn’t know what it was. <3

hiiii!! so, yes, senna is my idol both because he is one of the best drivers of all time and because he was an incredible person. but even though i consider him my idol and love him deeply, it doesn’t mean that i will defend him and say that he didn’t do anything wrong: he did do something wrong that i don’t support in any way. but the difference between him and Ricciardo is that Senna always sought to improve, there are many interviews with him saying that he always wanted to improve and always be the best he could be, but Ricciardo is like… sinking, you know? he made a mistake, then made another, and then another…. he has reached a level where i can no longer support him. yes, Senna messed up, i’m not going to lie, but he changed and wanted to improve. Ricciardo continued the same, as if he was right all along and never regrets what he did/said, you know? i hope i’ve been clear!! :)

Charles for the headcanons please!

charles is more protective than you’d initially think. he keeps his hands on your lower back in public settings. would help you peel fruit or feed you food often. grabs your hand and pulls you against him in a crowd, making eye contact to confirm you’re alright. his eyes often speak more than his words, they keep following you wherever you go. pats your thigh when you sit next to him and would make way by gently grabbing your waist and guiding you aside. ♡

carlos loves to stroke your hair. he holds your hand like it’s glued to his. he’s also eager to lend you a hoodie when you’re cold. wouldn’t let you help him cook if you’re bad at it, because he doesn’t want you to burn yourself. pulls you to the side if you get distracted and would love fixing or playing with your hair. looks for you/watches you a lot from afar, always making sure you’re alright. ♡
