I’m convinced that after he left Swellview/the danger of Blackout was fixed by DF, he realized it wasn’t healthy to completely ghost both of his friends so he texted them back and kept contact with them- eventually they all reunited and maybe Chenry did long distance

HDF characters’ Greek Goddess Parents (based on the main 12 cabins in PJO)

Henry: Apollo

- I originally actually thought something different but a discord oomf changed my mind. Apollo is the god of the sun, healing, and he’s also v bisexual and blonde (like Henry) so I thought it matched

Charlotte: Athena

- no explanation needed here. Athena is the goddess of wisdom, practical reason, and crafts and I feel like whenever Henry/ Ray jumped into a crazy plan to take down a villain, she was always there to hold them back and explain the risks

Jasper: Hermes

- this one I was iffy about..I feel like a lot of Hermes kids are sort of.. bottom of the barrel since all the new kids are dumped in their cabin and I felt Jasper might have maybe felt the same way since he’s always overlooked BUT I also found out Hermes is the god of sleep (like Jasper’s superpower)

Piper: Aphrodite

- Yes, Piper does have a lot of natural beauty but I feel like she def also resonates with the fact that Aphrodite is the goddess of war. Her beauty AND her love for fighting are both what makes her a daughter of Aphrodite

Ray: Zeus

- Idk he just gives main character energy.. he’s kind of seen as the ruler/ protector of the world and I feel like his role of superhero of Swellview matches that exactly, just on a smaller level. I feel like in the books at least Zeus was also sort of petty and held grudges and I feel like Ray totally does that too.

Schwoz: Hephaestus

- Not much explanation needed here.. kids of Hephaestus (like Leo) like building complex machinery, fixing broken things, just being good at mechanics.. and Schwoz is known for building the most random (yet useful) machines that just come in handy for specific situations

Bose: Aphrodite

- Multiple times in the show, Bose has used his beauty to his advantage (like when he was in the Chess club or when he was distracting Credenza’s girlfriends) and he’s even pointed out how he’s disgusted by his own beauty (his “ugly dimples” or his hair that is “too soft”) so I feel he may be similar to Piper McLean, another daughter of Aphrodite, who actually does not like her beauty

Chapa: Ares/ Hunter of Artemis

- Duh. Ares god of war, do I have to say anything else? Now for Hunter of Artemis I feel like Chapa would be more than willing to give up being with boys in order to fight with Artemis and be immortal. Plus I can see her being really good with a bow.

Mika: Athena

- Similar to Charlotte (prob bc her character was based on Charlotte’s haha) but multiple times the other characters have pointed out that she’s always the one who has a plan.. she’s always the one to think logically before jumping into something and in fact most of the times they’ve jumped into a plan that the others have made (ex: Chapa’s plan in the last episode), it has failed miserably

Miles: Dionysus

- this one I’m also iffy about! I was mainly going off the fact that Dionysus is the god of religious ectsasy and ritual madness and was thinking about how Miles started a cult during his time off of DF which is very similar

Okay I’m very slow and probably the last to figure this out but I think the reason why Luca kept his hair long for the entire show and then cut it literally immediately after the show ended was bc it’s easier for his stunt double since his hair covers his face half the time during his fights.

If we’re on the topic of HDF KCA fits, then I HAVE to bring in these two.

Havan absolutely devoured her first and only KCA. Like when I first looked this fit up I literally had to put the phone down in awe bc she genuinely ate that SO much. She kept the theme of black and white, which may seem boring, but she added silver accessories all over her body which added an extra flare. The way her rings matched with the earrings, the glasses, and the chains on her suit, it just made the fit flow together so nicely (Edit: I didn’t even notice that she had a silver chain necklace too). Talking about how things flowed, I liked how the tie and suit were both long, so it guided your eyes down to see the entire fit. And her nails were just clear/ glossy but I feel like if they were any other color they would be too distracting. And again, like Jace’s 2019 KCA shoes, I like a good business casual black shoe. She took the idea of black tie dress code and really added her own element to it with the jewelry and accessories. 1000/10

Luca I liked the idea of his fit, but I think overall the execution wasn’t really that great. Similar to Jace’s fit in the same year, I feel there was not enough variation/ layering of color, texture, patterns. I think the way he could’ve changed this would be through the shirt he was wearing. I do like how there was SOME sort of pattern I just don’t think it fit with the rest of the fit bc it was sort of.. casual. Plus the combination of a baggy shirt and baggy pants don’t really go well (the pants are LONG). I think he could keep the actual beige colored suit, just maybe change the inside shirt to a patterned/ textured/ interesting tighter fighting shirt. And like Jace, JEWELRY PLZ. But the shirt matched with the shoes and obv the suit matched with the pants so it was a put together outfit that did give awards show.

authors edit: I’m not hating on them OR their outfits! I’m just giving my two cents on what I like about their outfits and what I would style differently if I was their stylists!

There’s no layers of jackets or jewelry or anything, everything is around the same shade of tan/brown so it’s washing him out, and the shoes are just regular CLEARLY WORN DOWN tennis shoes. The best thing about it was the fact that his shirt was unbuttoned slightly…

I’m no fashion expert so but I would put at least a LITTLE more effort into it.
