I read Spilling Autumn by @drawgut, which is a fantastic post-apoc dark folk fantasy AU with kinda Darkwood vibes, and couldn’t get the idea of “Saejima having the worst day of his life, sobbing, leaving his home, but still insisting he brings his dove hens” outta my head

I'm talking about Taiga and my insert, who goes by Rinko in this world.

2. What was their first impression of each other?

The two of them met on the streets of Kamurocho. Taiga had just gotten back there (he was in prison for 25 years), and my insert latched onto him. Literally.

He was confused when she pretended she knew him and grabbed his arm, but quickly got the picture when some creeps walked up to them cause they wanted her.

Taiga immediately felt protective of Rinko, and she immediately took a liking to the gentle giant of a man.

4. Who felt romantic feelings first?

Taiga definitely felt something as soon as he saw her, but he wasn't sure what it was. He thought she was pretty, but felt like he wanted to take care of her kinda like his sister he hadn't seen in forever. It was confusing for him for a while, but he knew he cared.

Rinko pretty quickly started to fall for him. Big strong man, very nice to her. She was most definitely attracted.

7. What are their favorite things to do together?

Taiga started to really like Karaoke with Rinko. He wasn't big on it before her, but now it brings him joy. Rinko loves to sing, and Taiga loves to listen. Sometimes she can get Taiga to sing something, or join her in a duet, but more often than not he just happily hyping her up.

Somw other things they do together is just hang out and watch movies, and cuddle, or play Koi-Koi. Sometimes go around town and pick up stray cats to feed and then take to the shelter if they can. Sometimes go out and try a bunch of different places and their food.

Also, sometimes when Taiga works out, she helps and joins in by being one of his weights.

12. What kind of nicknames do they call each other?

I call Taiga Big Cat and Kitty.

He calls me a birdie sometimes, or a songbird. Or sometimes little Kitty. He tends to use Rinko's name tho. And if he's talking to others, I'm HIS Girl. >3<

And a bonus! Majima, Taiga's sworn oath brother and my buddy, calls me Taiga's stray. Or rescue. Cause right after Majima got Taiga a place... Taiga went to get me (my insert was unfortunately living on the streets) and let me stay too.

Taiga and I would totally start meowing at one another, on purpose or by accident.

Majima walks in and stands there in total confusion. Then asks a quisitive, "nya?"
