“You get used to it eventually,” He beamed. “Thanks! Took me a while but, yeah. It’s nicer than what I used to have, that’s for sure.” He cringed at the memory of his old cabin, rotting wood, destroyed- he veered away from that memory. “Come in, then.” He grasped Ren’s hand and tugged him along the path and into his base.

“Great,” Martyn grinned. Mm, he didn’t really have a better option so…

He grasped Ren a lot tighter and opened a rift, yanking the poor guy through it. Within a matter of seconds they were spat out in Martyn’s new world.

It was much better looking then the old one, no rifts nor scars along the fabric of it (mainly because he hadn’t left it enough to cause damage), no withering aside from a few paw-print shaped ones on well-trodden land, it was nice. Along a path stood a short cabin, outside on the porch his skeletal dog dozed alongside his axolotl. There was a patch of farmland to one side, and a pen of cattle the other.

Martyn snorted and the glitching died down.

“Yeah, maybe.” He smiled. “I’ll ask Pearl about getting him back soon.” He didn’t like how it felt, didn’t like how it felt to cause destruction, he hadn’t wanted to do it in the first place! But he was pushed, and pushed and logically, he snapped. Really, it wasn’t his fault.

Would this character be in denial about being in love?

Oh 100%. He doesn’t like the idea of love as it makes you vulnerable, even now he struggles to fully accept that yes, he loves Ren and Mumbo even when it’s painfully obvious (ignoring the murders he committed on them).

How well does your character take their tea, coffee and alcohol?

Martyn doesn’t like tea or coffee (projecting hehe), but I imagine he takes his alcohol pretty well. He’s also not above playing up his drunkenness in order to get out of certain, boring situations. What a guy :3

What does your character fantasise about?

Martyn fantasises about being enough. He wants to feel as if people take him seriously, as if he’s on the same level as them, as if he has a voice. Martyn definitely struggles to see things from someone else’s perspective and doesn’t always understand why things have to be a certain way, which leads to him not believing he’s understood.

He also fantasises about murdering doc probably,,,

That depends on whether it’s love for someone else, love for power, love for his pets, etc etc.

If it’s love for someone else, he is willing to go somewhat far. Martyn will do a lot aside from lay his own life down, it normally goes his survival before anything else’s. As long as he is safe, he can give to his friends and partners.

If it’s his love for power, Martyn will go nearly anything. Take the sunset stone from pirates smp. Martyn travelled all over just for the chance of charging it back up again, his power trips are just a cycle of addiction, in my opinion and it takes a while for him to grasp when enough is enough.

Like his love for other people, Martyn will do a lot for his pets. Honestly for all of these he isn’t above murder to get them. I think some of the only reasons he hasn’t killed Pearl for Steve is that he knows his efforts would be futile, and that it’d likely wage war against the server.
