alright so I'm flimsily constructing a novel around the premise of dating a spider man. not the Marvel kind, but a man who is literally half spider.

so we start off, and it's invasion of the bodysnatchers. a race of aliens that are definitely not yeerks are taking over the Canadian parliament. then, what's this? truck-kun?

the alien wakes up. it's been isekaiid into a fantasy world, and is now in the body of a frail albino prince. and it's up to him (and a troop of plucky heros) to defeat the demon lord!

but along the way, after slaughtering a mass of the demon lord's forces, they take a spider man captive, forcing him to serve as their guide. sparks fly. roses blossom. some weird gay alien/ spider man action commences.

I don't know what happens after that, maybe just 200 pages of biologically accurate spider sex.

my book LUCKY DAY is out less than two weeks. it is a story dredged up from my souls depths and manifested into something you can hold in your hands or listen to in your ears, and with that in mind i am asking one last time PLEASE PREORDER. heres why buckaroos...

i understand that technology is making it easier and easier to take for granted HUMAN CREATION, the sacred exchange between artist and audience. buds used to have to go to a record store to buy one special album, now you have every album in your pocket for pennies. there is good and bad to this

but the most widespread battle, as AI continues and as the crushing machine of capitalism rolls on, will the personal fight of taking a brief moment to support the artists that we care about. it is going to be waged on a SMALL SCALE, buds saying to other buds 'your art is worth something to ME'

for authors, what this comes down to is readers actually taking a tiny slice of their time to preorder a book. i understand other industries like video games have given preorders a bad name, but i cannot stress enough HOW IMPORTANT PREORDERS ARE FOR BOOKS. it is similar to a launchpad for a rocket

this is me humbly asking (as the worlds greatest author) to consider if my art has ever given you joy, and if it has, please spend the few seconds and handful of clicks to preorder LUCKY DAY. even if you PLAN on getting the book on release day, preorders are better. the launchpad needs a foundation

also keep in mind, if you cant spare the money for a book then putting in a request at your local library is also a huge help. even something as simple as clicking SHARE on this very post is powerful. HECK you could do all three. there are so many ways to wave the flag of the art that you care about
