So I finally got around to figuring out  Hadron Taur’hen and Nirnaeth, the two responsible for birthing these two idiots...

Malenna has her daddy’s ears... Maidh looks a lot like mummy dearest. and the girls got the freckle ‘splosion from both sides.

Hadron is cheerful and goofy, Always flashing a gap-toothed grin. 

Nirnaeth is reserved, quiet. Former-city elf with some skill with great swords.

{{ OMFGAG... i just got the mental image of Maidh coming home to Malenna on the living room floor surrounded by empty containers and half eaten pastry, chocolate and creme pat smeared all over her... Maidh snerks and says “Cat practising again?” to which Malenna just nods forlornly. 

@forgottencuttlefish got me into The Great British Baking Show and I’ve finally realized something.

Caitlin would love the SHIT out of this show if not straight up compete. It’s all so terribly British and relaxing and sweet and clever and it’d be right up her alley.

He stepped into the room and when he saw her his jaw dropped past his belt. The dress she wore was a shimmering gold a few shades darker than the colour of her eyes. It clung tightly to her body, following her every curve before flaring out just below her hips.  His eyes were drawn back to her neckline. Maker’s Breath, but it was low. Delicate ruffles framed her shoulders and the top curve of her breasts. He had never seen her with so much skin exposed. His face grew warm as he looked away. It wasn’t the only thing. He shifted uncomfortably.

“Well, Commander,” Leliana cooed, “What do you think of our Inquisitor?”

“Inquisitor. . . you look. . .” He brought his eyes to meet her’s and the words died in his throat. Malenna looked miserable. 

Large yellow eyes, blinked up at him, pleading, begging. “Help me!” she mouthed. 

“By the Maker.” Cullen sighed, shaking his head, the beginnings of a smirk curving his lips. “Josephine, have someone get the Inquisitor some trousers.” 

For the first time since she had been laced into this ridiculous frippery, Malenna smiled. She knew there was a reason she loved this man.

I had soo much fun making Malenna’s house pride board that I had to make one for Maidhriel.

Despite being the older twin, Maidhriel grew up in her little sister’s shadow. She wasn’t blessed with all of the natural talent that Malenna was, so she works twice as hard just to keep up. She’s focused, determined, and assiduous. Even with their raging sibling rivalry, Maidhriel is fiercely loyal to Malenna and will fight through hell and back to defend and protect her sister.

Been thinking about this off and on for a while…

Malenna fits best in Gryffindor. When she was little her favourite stories were the epic adventures about the brave, fearless heroes, and that’s what she wanted to be. She throws herself into everything, making snap decisions based on her instincts… sometimes she gets lucky. Fortune favours the Brave. …sometimes it blows up in her face.
