ok but the themes and motifs of this whole thing though. someone who has been overlooked and underappreciated and unloved their whole life meeting a person who is already in love with "them" and not being able to resist the warmth and comfort of that feeling, the yearning and desperate need for it, but also surely inevitably having to grapple with the fact that this love was earned by someone who was paid attention to and appreciated and loved instead of them in the first place. spectacular. give me fourteen of them right now.
