It’s also so interesting how transwomen and transbians all seem to only like (teenage) girls in anime and they plaster that all over their pages because they can project themselves onto that and not older hollywood actresses since they don’t seem to find older women in their natural aged state attractive.

Yes! I have written a post on this somewhere....the agreed-upon lesbian canon of celebrity crushes is made up of women mostly in their late 30s-40s and this isn't replicated among transbians, when do you ever see them swooning over cate blanchett or gillian anderson or lucy liu or laura prepon (😐) etc. Or posting pictures of said women in suits or expressing interest in their lives. This is otherwise like universal lesbian currency from Tumblr to Weibo (yes really, I've seen female-run Chinese-language shipping communities for women from this show as well as for the aforementioned Western actresses)

I think that transbianism is all about seeking a do-over of probably quite a depressing and isolating childhood and teenagehood (these r mostly autistic men who work in IT, that's all the sympathy I can drum up) and making a really pathetic reddit-esque revenge story out of pent-up incel rage and attraction towards female classmates, sisters etc, instead of healthily dealing with these issues. They imagine that transition will be a rebirth and total reinvention of the self carrying the promise of an easier life (bc they still grip onto the 'stacies on easy mode' idea). Thus they must fetishise youth because obviously every woman must go through a mythical debutante teenagehood or whatever they have in anime in order to finally 'blossom'. It's the polar opposite of the age-old lesbian attraction to age and experience, esp as they're partially sexualising themselves (AGP)

Some of it is just prototypical male sexuality but I think a lot of het women would be at least a bit 🤨 at a partner obsessed with youth to the extent where they model themselves after children's cartoons and are almost repulsed by actual women.
