Two theres a civi in the batcave. Three bruce kidnapped some fucking kid. Four some random kid just got in the car with them. Five holy fuck bruce kidnapped some kid.

Consider: the Fentons, no matter how much they may mean well or not, are terrible parents. When one of their neighbors finally reports them to CPS after one too many times seeing young Danny bruised up with no explanation and a complete lack of concern, it took no time at all for him to be removed from that household. The lab was completely unsafe for children to be around, let alone the kitchen situation.

Jazz tried to get custody, but was deemed too young, barely an adult herself. Vlad also tried, but Danny was old enough for his opinion to be taken into account at least a little, so he managed to avoid that. In hindsight, Vlad might have been preferable; at least then he'd have been able to stay in Amity and guard the portal in his parents' lab.

Unfortunately for Danny and for Amity Park, the closest home with an opening was all the way in nearby Fawcett City.

Poison Ivy is hired to revive an extinct flower. It's good money and the flower has no adverse effects on the environment so she's more than happy to take the job.

She thinks everything is good and continues to grow these flowers for her client. Until a child shows up in her greenhouse and informs her that the flowers she's been providing are actually going to a branch of the government and are being used to destroy the a different realm.

The government has been tricking her into destroying the environment, earthly or not. Soon they'd learn exactly why Poison Ivy is feared.

He'd moved to metropolis on a whim.

The city was big, he's earning good money via commissioned things (most people come to him for cosplay actually, who knew that knowing how to build a sci-fi gun that doesn't even work would be this wanted??) and he's got a nice apartment!

Superman and Supergirl were the active heroes, he didn't need to involve himself anymore with the world of heroes, he would continue as a civilian. It was better this way.

So how come LexLuthor, of all people, what is his luck?, sends him an invitation to LexCorp AND once declined, seemed to have created some sort of energy absorbing weapon that directly zoomed in on his immediate whenever around?

Civilian life is one thing.

Being rescued via Super for the 9th time is another.

People are real quick to do a complete 180 and forgive Watcher after making the most basic backtracking statement they could’ve made

Like I know the standard for YouTube apologies is fucking 6 feet in the ground but like, it’s the most basic PR statement they could’ve given

Am I glad they apologized? Yes. Do I think they regret it? Yes. Do I think it was for the reasons we hope (aka caring about the fans)? No. Do I think they were sincere about their reasoning? No.

I think it comes back to why they were willing to make this decision in the first place: money
